Wouldn't be to surprised if he is just setting up a over 9000 joke for later.
Seven Deadly Sins

I don't like how Inigo Montoya and Mr.Potato Head still looks Cocky.
-
I bet King's Power Level surpass 3000 just with Power.
Nah this could be for Merlin's case. King should have a lot of spirt too.

And I'm not happy with Meliodas' numbers. What he and Ban did in that prision wasn't worty of only 4x the power level of a platinum holy knight. -

Hmm… a consideration: What if power levels are not arithmetical, but geometrical?

Goku had a variable ki.

Depends of the universe you are speaking.
-
I didn't like this chapter, seems like padding with the power levels outta nowhere (not sure if I'm using that word correctly though).
-
Just watched the first 4 episodes. How can the Manga get a boost from that boring crap o.O? Even Toriko was more watchable in its first episodes.
The action is kinda nice. -
Catching up with manga… what has he done noooo.... discussions will be so insufferable now.
Fuck power levels.. -
Spoilers of chapter 107. Just power levels:
! Total of the other two fodder knights: 1690 and 1710.
Hauser: 1910
Griamor: 1520
Gil: 1970
….....................Power - Strenght - Spirit
Gowther: 3100…..1300….....500…....1300
Diane: 3250…......900….....1870…... 480
Merlin: 4710….....3540…......70….....1100
Hawk: 30…...........0….........25….......5 -
So, it's official.
Don't get what this is for. I'll try to reserve my judgment until we see if this power level gadget will take roots in the story.

Never a power level viewer helps the plot.

-
! It's weird; I thought Gilthunder would be like a level above Hauser.
! Hauser's Spirit might be high, I guess. -

! Diane lacks spirit(and dwarves Melio strength) and Merlin gets better strength than I expected(and has crazy amount of power). -
! So Merlin is back?
huh? Did you put the manga on hold? She came back a while ago, since chapter 100.

And brought lots of questionable plot points with her.
Seriously, ever since that woman appeared, manga started to turn into Fairy Tail.

Like if the author got nervous with such a great design of a character.

Eh…No, I still prefer Diane (and Gowther, but he is irredeemable now).
Pig lady manages to create plot-holes every time she appears tho. -

I sure hope that plan doesn't involve more power-levels.
But most likely it involves betrayal.
She is too OP as an ally tho. Pls nerf. -
The arc about Escanor is promising. Being him a vampire, his power level will make all the baldor eyes explote in the kingdom and every one will be happy, some readers included .

List these plot-holes
Where she was during battle with first act final boss? Why came back 10 seconds after? Why left in the first place?
Because she is too strong, and author doesn't know where to put her, and every other problem is resolved by her effortlessly. Not to mention power-levels, screw power levels.

On top of that she came to do nothing… sorry, to receive a medal. Fuck! She didn't have to come back.

This post is deleted!

Of course she didn't have to come back… a kingdom doesn't need a king afterall

She was treating the king… she only managed to cure him just after Hendricksen is defeated... there's nothing wrong with that, it's cheap, but not a plot-hole.
and power-levels aren't plot-hole either, they are just something that you don't like.
-
Those aren't plot-holes, are something that you don't like.
Merlin was treating the King. She simply manages to cure him in the exact time that Hendricksen is defeated. It could be a little cheap, but isn't a plot-holeWhat a coincidence!:ninja:
Merlin is literal deus ex machina made flesh. She walks in just before final confrontation, solves all minor issues (evil mage, door, king's injuries) then dissapears (for a reason which would have been fine if she was truly gone), so Mel can struggle, then appears again.
Maybe plot-hole is not best term, but it's clearly visible how arc final part bends around her, and yeah I don't like when such things happen. -

How so, don't tell me you don't know Merlin is not the king!:wassat:
And the propper name for that appearance to make nothing is just one: plot hole!

Was that already confirmed?

the definition of a plot hole is inconsistency between two actions in a storyline… doesn't matter if the author made a good or bad thing while using her, all the reasons and actions are clear
She came back to deliver the king to his kingdom and his family and she is part of the Seven Deadly Sins. It would just be wrong if she didn't come back
-
"Arthur, we're going home!"
poof
"Lol I was here whole time!"Yeah, clear as a sky:ninja:

She was in Camelot. She has teleportation.

And here I was, thinking she walked all the way there, and flew back on a giant eagle.
It's a very cheesy situation indeed. Bartra suddenly starts dying, so Merlin has to take him with her and heal him, but apparently it's very easy because he is fine some hours after since battle didn't last that long. String of very convinient coincidences for the sake of drama.
She should have been introduced later, that would solve everything.

Te delivery of the king didn't have to happen in that arc; neither the apparition of the king. All of that scene was clearly unnecesary. If the author would have just write somewhere bettwen the panels "3 weeks later" or something of the kind, that would have made more sense. But Merlin comming back 10 minutes later was clearly a poor narrative.

But it continues to not be a plot-hole, which is my entry and only point.
I'm not discussing the quality of the story, just the consistency. All things are answered with the storyline, without needing more. -
About Merlin-
Isn't Hikyou Banchou the same? -
But it continues to not be a plot-hole, which is my entry and only point.
If you accept if was a very poor narrative, I agree. Anyway, it was bad, and the story would have been much better with out that returning. (That's a plot in the narrative, to me :ninja:)

Ok, we are in good terms now:getlost:

But since we apparently arguing just semantics there, then yeah.
But it is extremely poor writing that didn't happen before introduction of Merlin.
For a series being consistently great for 100 chapters, having two such questionable moments in a row with same character is especially glaring. -
As much as I didn't like it, I think the story didn't get much damage with those moments. When Merlin came back Hendricksen was done already. And that mysterious being leaving the battle field saves all the remaining questions to be answered in future chapters.

Power meter tho…
I don't know what he was thinking. -
It's a cliche… But the plot is still great: now Ban is the king of the fairies (that was great!), Escanor to be introduced, and Mel being chased by the Goddesses, not to mention the real holy war to be happen. There's so much potential there that the chapters about about a powermeter look like filler.

Yeah, but now everything has this "multiply by X Cavendishes" aftertaste.

Now we aren't in good terms anymore :(
Ban's fun, but his whole lone-wolf personality just give me stomach ache.
Ban's like a seasoning or condiment and Meliodas' a tasteless food. They need each other to work -

I don't know what he was thinking.Unfortunatly Readers like discussing power levels. Look the previous chapter which was very good had 0 comments but introduction of power levels has several pages…

I don't really buy that Merlin was left out of the battle because she is too strong. More like the author didn't want to instantly dehype her because Meliodas will be mvp regardless.
