No you want miss a thing really.

Nope. And if you really want to, you would be better off watching new Ufotable version. At the very least, it has better animation, and it's based on the route that's slightly less bad.
Fate/Zero is worth watching for animation quality alone. And the story is not bad either.

Okay thanks, Emiya is pretty interesting. Will keep me accupied until new one piece.
-
It's a little too depressing for my taste. Although some parts of it were pretty awesome.
-
anyone else who wants a upgraded version of Pirate Alliance colorspread with Sabo and Fujitora bottom, Law and X Drake top and either some Dressrosa chars along with SH's or only SH's?
-
Koala, I just need Koala. Though I'm always happy with my episode of Jinbe's cover story.
-

Well, it is Urobuchi. He is notorious for that.
I found philosophy and story to be enjoyable on the deeper level, altough I will readily admit that it isn't for everyone because of it's darker and more depressing moments.
Still, I would highly recommend at least trying it, on the merit of animation alone. I still don't know how Ufotable pulled that off, that series has movie quality stuff in it.
If there ever was a series I was a fanboy of, Fate/Zero is it. Oh, and FMA:B.

You know, I really don't want to get hyped for her, just because she is a female character written by Oda…
-
That is a blantant lie on the other hand. I said Fate/Zero was good. Not Fate/Stay Night. The latter is stupid. The former is wirtten by Urobuchi and great. The very fact that you had it for five years tells me that you simply watched the wrong series.
Watch Zero. Zero is great. Much superior in both writing and animation quality (Man that series is beautiful).
If you are talking about the series where so many generic characters are introduced only to be killed off for no reason without having much of character exploration then probably yea lol . But aside from that this claim is pretty BS . Fate entire franchise is pretty mediocre with a fanbase that rivals Code Geass in terms of how much they overhype the series .

There was philosophy in Fate ? I thought Urobuchi just pasted those words into his series without exploring much of any themes .

I'm just watching FMA:B now. Kept saving FMA for later, then finally decided I'd rather watch the anime. I hear there aren't that many differences (apart for stuff in first half being downplayed a little, but I already got pass that) and I rarely find a good anime to watch these days.

Manga is on my list of things to read one day, if only to experience it that way. I actually rewatched Brotherhood recently, it's still good. Makes me wish One Piece got better adaptation.

!
To be honest I don't really know myself. Of course she is cute and has Fishman Karate..but I guess it's more because of her past with Jinbe. At least for me.
This and boobs… -

Why not just explore the manga medium? Anime medium is pretty much dead unless you are looking to watch the typical high school romance , moe crap , harem etc…..............

But then again, I enjoyed Soldier/Kyros connection to Rebecca, and then it disappointed me greatly… I hope it won't turn this way with Koala.

How many mangas have you even explored though ? Because really someone who haven't read more than few mangas and for the most part watched filler-ridden crappy animes can't claim anything regarding mangas .

I have decent amount of animes under my belt . And as of now i don't really two shits about anime medium in general .
Fanservice , moe , lolicon , harem , generic one-dimesional characters / pretty boy characters , pointless shoehorned romance etc…............. are some of the biggest problems in animes nowadays for me . There are hardly any good shows that aren't adapted from the mangas . While there are so many excellent mangas that are waiting to get anime adaptation but sadly they don't because of either not being popular or not having what weebos / otaku's like . -

No, no, the problem is I got a little tired of reading manga on a screen and wanted to rest my eyes with a good anime.
There's still shitload I follow weekly and some I have decided to read but am saving for when I get bored.
-
I'm actually really enjoying the anime for Garo and Shingeki no Bahamut this season along with a few others. Imo I think manga just has the luxary of there being more of it, so there's more "good" manga when percentage wise its about the same. I shouldn't even say good really. But the same percentage of manga one would enjoy as anime.
Anyway, I'm getting really antsy for the next chapter. Now was such a bad time to catch up. lol I know there's going to atleast be two more weeks of flashback after this one. And I want more ope ope / gomu gomu no mi combos on doffy.
Better yet, I want to see full second gear Luffy. Oda might not even consider it something that should happen, like segmented body second gear could just be a better option. But if it isn't….then full second gear timeskip Luffy will be badass as fuck.

are the spoilers tonight or tomorrow?

Is it really that bad?
No. Just a little bit dull. Both times.
…Although I only watched it to get jokes in Carnival Phantasm. -
my predictions of the new chapter:
1- a battle between the marines and dofa's pirates.
2- the birdcage will be used to prevent anyone from escaping. also, law knows what it is when dofa used it in dressrosa.
3- Roci's death.
4- law will be taken back with dofa after he eats the fruit.can't wait for it :)

You really think that'll all happen in 1 chapter?
- Vergo still has to make his appearance
- Rocinante still needs some more character building
- Explanation about Vergo and Rocinante being marines and whether they know each other
Anyway, I think next chapter will be a more indepth explenation about why Rocinante is working with the marines, who he actually despises but needs to stop Doffy and more background about the atrocities Doffy commited and why Rocinante sees Doffy as truely evil.
-
we need 3 more chapters for Bepo
-
Hope we see Drake next chapter.
-
Hope we see Drake next chapter.
It would be fun to see him playing with a toy stegosaurus in the background and then see him in the current timeline cursing about him finding the T-rex one :P

Yeah perhaps we will learn why exactly he isn't a jerk like DD.

Seems like its time for third full introduction for Vergo.
I wonder why Oda didnt gave him full body(head with hairstyle) reveal like he could have been simply shown fullbody when he came to Sengokus room. Weird.
Also as many people say next chapter we will most likely see Doflamingo starting his Birdcage, already knowing that Rosi is traitor.
First few pages for revealing how Rosi survived, then Mingo pirates comming to island, Law eating Ope Ope and curing himself then possibly last pages for showing what marines are up to(with Vergo among them).
Next chapter with some fight and Rosi dying at the end. Then Vergo traumatizing Law and Law separation from Doflamingo pirates + comeback to Law vs Doflamingo.Or something like that.
With addition of final part of Doflamingo memories about his fathers death so he will be testamented as bastard just before killing Rosi.
-
waiting for the spoiler :D
-
Don't know if the flashbacks are going to plow through al the major points this week but really hoping we get to see the man who appointed Dofla the first Corazon. Wondering if this is the mysterious 'Jack' and if there is indeed some link to Kaido with him.

I think you need to re-read flashback chapters, it was already said that Vergo was first Corazon.

Whoops, yeah. Rather tired. Still wondering if Jack is linked to Dofla's rise to power in some way.

He's already 20.
-
I just went to the Belgian comicon. I saw people there are +40. They were buying and playing with my little pony dolls. Playing with dinosaurs when you're 20 is allowed I would say.

We live in a truly sick world

Eh… he is not a psychopath?
No, seriously. The more I learn about DD the more he seems like a textbook example of high end psychopath. Oda could've literaly written him with psychology textbook in hand, that's how well he fits it.
So yeah. Here's your answer: Personality disorder.

I know right? They should be playing tabletop war games instead+. Playing with figurines is much more acceptable when figurines have chain swords.

Oh come on, not that one
I have nothing against grown ups who watch MLP, I've watched the first 2 seasons myself when they came out and I found this show to be enjoyable for a few reasons, but why the hell would 40 year olds play with MLP figurines ? It may be harmless but it's still sick. Extremely weird at best.
What are chain swords, by the way ? -
Everytime i check the spoiler section and no spoiler i feel like i am losing my mind seems i caught a nasty bug
-
What are chain swords, by the way ?
It is a sword that is also a chainsaw.
Looks like this:
Skulls not optional.
Warhammer 40000 is the most glorious SF setting ever made. Not the best, maybe, but certainly most glorious. And grim. And dark. You are missing out if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Well, I've read a few things about its lore and it seems pretty good but I haven't had the occasion to play/read it so far.

If you are going to get into it, I advise tabletop RPG's or PC games over miniatures wargame. They are awesome, but pain in the ass.
Also, there are books. Lot's of them, in fact. And the universe is very entertaining, if dark as all hell.

I don't mind if it's dark, I'm constantly hesitating between Berserk and One Piece as my favorite manga. However I'm still reading other things right now and I can't really afford to spend money in a new series. I mean, if I start reading the books, I might very well get hooked and not being able to satisfy my hunger would really suck.

Hey, I can understaind that pain.
Also, if you like dark motives, I highly recommend most things Urobuchi has done, especially Fate/Zero and Psych Pass.

I'm not driven toward dark stories more than lighter ones but I like when they're well done. I was recently searching for some serious manga/anime and although I still have to read Lone Wolf and Cub, Akira and other classics, I'm a bit too lazy to read. I've watched Black Lagoon for that reason, have you seen it ?
Anyway, I think I'm gonna try Psycho Pass right now, I'll tell you what I think of it later. -

i always find it notable, how his personality switches from angry or terrified back to his typical smile in the blink of an eye.
is that an indication of psychopathy, too?
