So Corazon is Heath Ledger's Joker, eh. Was kinda expecting it after his first appearance, but now its confirmed. So, thank you Oda
Chapter 763: Human Declaration
-
-
Would be at last find what the "Will of D" is?
Is that plot advancement what I feel? It has been a while.
-
Is it true that Corazon's real name is Roci??
-
-
@DEE:
I am reading, and first thing I could guess is:
This guy in the left pannel is definetly FUJITORA !!!!!!!!!!!
So, I was right… Issho is a blind man with only the whites of his eyes showing, though he is usually seen with both eyes closed. He has an X-shaped scar centered on the left side of his forehead that stretches over both eyes. He has short dark hair, a mustache, and a beard
Issho wields a shikomizue (a Japanese swordstick) that doubles as a cane for his blindness
Thats why ODA made this panel look dark... He don't want us to see the main person.. :) + I guess he was from North blue or somethin' ?
Well, I bet Its him 90% -

It's Rocinante…..............

It started raining right after I finished reading this chapter
I guess the D caused a storm -

Well, I bet Its him 90%Idk man Issho still has his eyes. The guy in the panel says they took his eyes.
If that was Oda's way of showing how Fuji got blinded. It's a pretty lazy move. Issho has so much more to him than this imo.

Man.. Taking his eyes means, makin' him blind… When a woman says; That man took my heart, it doesnt mean he substracted it from her body....
- We can see the white part of his eyes.. They're still open!!!!
-
so..vergo is already in the marines? or not?it's strange we havent' saw him at all
-
@Light:
Well at least we got a sensible explanation on why Doffy's family lived in such a poverty. Makes sense that some people would take any change they got to get revenge on World Nobles.
Doffy's past is really messed up honestly. Almost makes me feel bad for the bastard.
And Law's role just skyrocketed to infinity! He's probably gonna be real important to the overall story instead of just being a notable ally.
And curse you Gore for steling my avatar idea! XD Oh well, maybe Delly is a half-fishman after all.
I had it before spoilers came out :p had to take it out incase of breaking a rule. My fav panel in the chapter tbh
-
Heh, loved the chapter. Oda is at his best when he does moral ambiguity.
Father of Doffy was a dummy. I don't approve.
Seeing family interact together is fun.
-
Btw Corazons eyelash on rereading seems to be same as Okama king's(forgot his name).

Aohige's summary says they were gouged out.

What about young Monet?
-
I'm so tsundere for Law
-
I love how people use shittu scans to come up with theories lol.
-
Law being a D what an asspull for the story. Hope the other Supernovas get flashbacks because they all need character depth.

how is that an asspull? ò_ò

Okay I've seen people making comments on Dellinger but not on Baby 5 much. Or more precisely, she has her DF by then. She's turned her lower leg into a gun.
[hide][qimg]http://e465.enterprise.fastwebserver.de/series/OnePiece/0763-014.png[/qimg] [/hide]Also Corazon set himself on fire again lol
Yea i noticed those as well in the spoilers :)
-
@DEE:
What about young Monet?
we already know she joined the crew when law was not part of it,same for sugar.
vergo though, joined the marines under dofla's order 15 years ago,and this chapter started 16 years ago and now we are 14 years ago with law having only 1 year left -
Thanks to Aohige's note that Law's name is spelled in Japanese exactly like The Battle of Waterloo, I've noticed this:
The Wanted Poster says "Wellington (10 mil)"
and by his Military like coat, it's Another of Oda's references to the battle of Waterloo which is: Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, British commander at Waterloo. -

Even if it was Fujitora in that scene, remember that man was very resentful of the Celestial Dragons. Flash-forward to present day, where Fujitora is dealing with a situation involving a "former" member. Wouldn't we see way more resentment and bitterness, and not his absentminded self?
Besides, I don't see why would Oda would drop a major character like that in such a small panel…..err what I mean is, he wouldn't make a sign saying "look it's Fujitora in this panel guys!", but it could've been anybody with gauged-out eyes, male or female, young or old. The point was the people's rage, not who specificially was angry.
-
Wasn't Ronzinante the donkey in the original Don Quichotte's tale?
-
Flashback is now at 14 years ago. Gg Vergo. Unless he comes in later..

It is not.The Chinese scan clearly shows the face of the blind man and it is nothing like Fujitora's.And Fujitora wouldn't be that old 33 years ago.

33 years is a massive difference. He probably didnt want to hold the grudge for long.
I think Fuji has a lot more than just taking out the shichi system.
This could be his start. His hate turned into training amd becoming a beast. He now has his goals.
-
I for one am okay with Law not being spelled Loo.

Yeah, I think King Cannon pointed out the difference a few pages back too.

Consider the quote above. Fuji is like…..40-50 years old. He wouldn't look like that 33 years ago.

The guy also has different scars, and different face, and different hair color…

Thanks!
So many things to notice!!
!
Doflamingo's right eye!!!
Donquixote Pirates ship!!!
Pandaman!!And One Piece Lead Color next week.
HELL YEAH!!! SO MANY AWESOME THINGS!!! -
I have a feeling the only reason found out about them was because Doflamingo was a dick and shouted about that stuff. Had he behaved like a normal person no one would have known :D
thought about that too. such a douche lol
-
What a goddamn cute chapter. 10/10.
-
Makes sense now why Law went out of his way to save Luffy back at Marine Ford besides just wanting to see a D causing another storm. Looking forward to see more of reveal of the history between the D's and the Tenryuubito.
-
Now I'm curious and in need of asking: Am I the only one who disliked Doffy's dad for what he has done?
-
If the color spread next week turns out to be something else, aside from Donwuixote Family big Colourspread, I will rage.
-
Btw.
Before i go to bed, not sure if anyone noticed but.. Chapter 760
http://www.onemanga.me/one-piece/760/15/
Top panel with Dofla and his family.
Made clear in this weeks chapter top panel.
http://www.onemanga.me/one-piece/763/9/
Think people were wondering who the third person was aaround the bed? Was just the father, dead mother and corazon with doffy.
-
Now I'm curious and in need of asking: Am I the only one who disliked Doffy's dad for what he has done?
I think he was naive in putting his family at risk like that, I don't dislike him for wanting to be a good person though.
-
-
Now I'm curious and in need of asking: Am I the only one who disliked Doffy's dad for what he has done?
dislike is a strong word..he was incredibly naive and stupid, but he was not a bad guy.
-
Now I'm curious and in need of asking: Am I the only one who disliked Doffy's dad for what he has done?
No. People including myself believe he made a decision without considering the consequences ir possibilities.

See, here's a thing: We were never explicitly told that Celestial Dragons need to do bad stuff.
Do they need to have slaves? Can they not donate money to charity, or created things beneficial to the populace? They are "Gods". Surely "Gods" don't have such limitations placed upon themselfs?
See, the way I think about it: Why couldn't the guy use his immense power, ifluence and wealth to do some good in the world, instead of going on whimsical soul-searching trip with his entire family?
-
Now I'm curious and in need of asking: Am I the only one who disliked Doffy's dad for what he has done?
I dunno. He didn't do anything with bad intentions, and he did try to go back in his decision.
His only crime is being naive.
-
Now I'm curious and in need of asking: Am I the only one who disliked Doffy's dad for what he has done?
lol man there's so much good stuff to talk about in this chapter that even if you liked it, just few hours after the release, you have to point at the only thing you disliked.
dd's dad was an asshole tho
-
Wasn't Ronzinante the donkey in the original Don Quichotte's tale?
The Horse of Don Quixote ("Don Quijote" in Spanish).
"Rocinante" in Spanish (and in the Manga seems too).
The horse's name came from "Rocín" (nagk/hack/draft or work horse), and "Antes" (before).
Curiously, in spanish, a definition for "Rocín" is Clumsy.

because he never said he wanted to do good to the others.
he just said that he and his family should live as humans, because it was the right thing for them.
in fact,he said he needed to re-educate his children for that exact motive.
