About that, I looked at the fighting fish again and realized that even ordinary kind have two kinds of fins. One hard fin and one flappy. So yeah, Delly is most likely a fruit user because there's probably no way that fin of his could be retracted naturally.
Compared to Machvise, who has been clearly called a DF user, Lao G and Dellinger weren't that hinted to be DF users too.

Honestly, I don't think both characters are DF users.
Mostly because, unlike Machvise, the abilities don't seem too weird or obvious enough. With Machvise, several characters pointed out his DF.
Dellinger so far fights with generic kicks. Not something I associate with shark fins besides Fishman Karate.
And Lao G can be explained with insane reflexes/CoO. He is a Martial Artist after all.
So far, Diamanté has been a waste of an amazing character design. He has accomplished nothing, to say the very least. I'm really hoping his fight with Rebecca and Kyros puts some much need oomph into his bland characterization.

Also on Lao G suit there seems to be black and white arrows visible. Like currents of energy flow or something like that. His hands seems to form open circuit and closed one btw. We seen character in Hunter x Hunter that was using electricity to creat "God speed" technique.
Dwarfs were shown to be fast enough for normal human not being able to see them. In running Zoro had hard time catching up to one of them so Lao G being so much faster than attacking Dwarf is really something.
He was also paired in fight with Chinjao as he is shown to be able to avoid attack from him. There has to be some kind of boost to this old guy beside pure skill.

Nobody is saying that he must have a devil fruit because of what was shown.
Just said that what happened offers a good possibility that Lao G has a devil fruit. We never did have a devil fruit that was plain super speed. This one might be even better than Kizaru's, as far as speed itself is concerned, because the user has a faster perception as well.
Doubt Oda has resorted to giving characters hightened perception and speed for the sake of a silly gag.

I think awakened zoans are just fruit users who used ther fruits so much that the animal side became dominant, and they became more animals than human. Or were left somewhere in between. It's evident zoans have some kind of personalities, otherwise objects like Lassoo and Funkfreed would be impossible.
Maybe Chopper would look more like human if he became an awakened zoan. Or maybe he already is one, since he has more human traits than animal ones.
When Oda said that human who would eat human fruit would become more enlightened, it probably means that the person who would eat it would become more human. Smarter, more emphatic, more self aware, wiser, healthier?

The question is indeed legit and a whole lot more interesting than whether Vergo (Dellinger, Lao G) has or doesn't have a devil fruit but at this moment we can't really be sure. Will a human become an enlightend human, a super human, the humanest human of all humans ever to have existed (whatever that might mean) after eating a ningen ningen no mi? There's no telling really but my guess is that it would'nt be pointless.
