@zeltrax225:
Are you trolling?
Maybe I should stop.
"If you don't take it seriously" actually translate to don't take it too seriously because even the author doesn't expect you to because of how light-hearted the premise of FT is as compared
to Bleach and Naruto that keeps on tripping on its whole serious premise(s) over and over again and then fails to deliver.
FT knows that it won't go too deep and confuse things. You should already know that at the end of Oracion Seis, no, it doesn't mean we have to accept it as "good" but yes, that's just how the author rolls and so far it hasn't been too terrible to the likes of Narutard and Flech.
FT doesn't try to overly complicates itself in the first place, Naruto and Bleach does.
And aww, I'm sure calling me a dumbass makes your opinions so much more true.
So wait, what's your logic again? Because it was so good in the past, it instantly equals to a good manga now?
Overall if we look at everything, naruto and bleach is shit even compared to FT.
A student that gets alot of As in the beginning will still have a terrible GPA if he gets F all the way through his last year
whereas a student that constantly gets a C will still win. Its a terrible analogy but yeah you get what I mean.
I tend to believe that as the general consensus and not just my opinion but if you are going to go SHUDDAP BITCH ITS YOUR OPINION
then don't reply alright.
LOL i love how you don't mention a single thing about the friendship power stuff . Do i even have to mention the friendship beating strong as characters and it being used as a way to give powers up ? Do you even realize the terrible-ness of that or is this one of your "don't take seriously" logic ? But then again you basically turn off your brain when watching Fairytail so i guess it would have been difficult to notice such things .
So let me get this straight if you don't take the series seriously then it excuses everything including it's terrible writing , generic ass one-dimensional characters , uncreativity , unoriginality and just turn off your brain and enjoy the piece of garbage for mindless entertainment ? LOL what kind of retarded logic is that ? And Kid i don't watch or read mangas for the sake of "mindless entertainment " nor i like to "turn off" my brain when i am reading or watching something .
LOL it doesn't matter whether Bleach or Naruto take themselves too seriously . You ARE still taking it seriously while arguing that a series ( that you don't take seriously ) is better ? Why don't you actually compare them on equal teams ? But of course if Fairytail fans started comparing series on equal terms then they would lose their one and only argument which is "If you don't take it seriously then you will enjoy" .
And turning off your brain to enjoy something is already one of the biggest insults you can give to a writer . At least when Bleach and Naruto were good they didn't require you to this retarded "turning off your brain " logic .
And why shouldn't i call you retard and dumbass again ? Considering that you are suggesting that Fairytail is something special for following the "If you don't take it seriously " logic even though anyone with even a half brain will realize that ANY SERIES CAN BE LIKE THAT TOO IF YOU DON'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY . Like do i gotta hold your hand and explain you in detail what this self-explanatory statement means ? But maybe reading Fairytail too much must have cause you to become brain-dead….................

@Hnikarr:
Let's hoope to end here this boring argument, by comparing it to a film.
Fairy Tail is NOT a film directed by Stanley Kubrick: if you think of it this way, of course you'll be disappointed, but it's like watching one of those superhero films, that Hollywook craps out a dime a dozen, and being disappointed because it lacks of substance.
Because Fairy Tail is basically the manga equivalent of your standard Hollywood film: flashy, over-the-top, full to the brim of pointless special effects and CG, barebone plot, dozens of clichés in every single scene, naked or half-naked women, half-naked muscular men, good chaps always win because they are the good ones, and so on, so on, so on.
As I already said, if you don't think, you can enjoy it, exactly like you can enjoy a superhero film, if you go watching it with your friends just to have a good laugh together.
P.S. you could also compare Fairy Tail to a Big Mac, if you prefer: definitely not haute cuisine, but if you have chosen a Mc Donald's, you know what you'll get… Naruto is more like going to a famous high class restaurant and then, after a good appetizer, eat a crappy lunch and a disgusting dessert.
Dark Knight and Captain America 2 says hi .
