Dub cast announced for the Redub of the original series as well as some details on the release style.
Still looking at who each actress/actor has played in the past to get a feel for some of them, but I do like their pick for Usagi. I just hope she doesn't go Orihime high and ditzy. Usagi should be SOMEWHAT high pitched and ditzy, but there's a fine line there I don't want them crossing.
Also, no word on if this dub cast will carry over to Crystal, but I assume it's a fair bet it will.
Just looked over the details:
First Boxed Set comes with an artbox to hold the second Boxed set, and ONLY the second boxed set.
Pretty obvious here that Sailor Moon will be two boxed sets total. The first box is 23 episodes and Sailor Moon total comes out to 46. Perfect, two boxed sets and you got the whole thing.
Hopefully this is a pattern, tho, it gets slightly problematic later on.
Sailor Moon R is enough episodes where I think they can comfortably pull the same deal. Two Boxed sets, 21 Episodes in one, 22 in the other which isn't TOO big a drop here. Hopefully they continue the artbox deal where you end up with two boxed sets that fit into and make up one whole "Sailor Moon R" boxed set.
The problem starts when you get to Sailor Moon S and Beyond.
The Series' got shorter.
You end up with:
S - 38
Super S - 39
Sailor Stars - 34
If they stick to the "Two Boxed sets per series" deal, you get this.
S - 19 Episodes per Box
Super S - 19 in One, 20 in another
Sailor Stars - 17 Per Box.
Honestly, that seems fine now that I look at it only the less the episodes, the lower the MSRP will need to be for that particular box… ESPECIALLY Sailor Stars. or they'll need to make up for it with some big BIG extras.
