I want pirate warriors 3 but i worry if it doesn't get announced soon it will be on ps4 and not ps3. Which i probably won't get for a while
I don't see it being a PS4 exclusive. Most likely it will be cross-gen (PS4, PS3 and Vita).

I don't have ps3 so i'm hoping the opposite.
Seeing how much PS3 support other popular game series in Japan are still getting, I wouldn't worry about PW3 being PS4 exclusive. In fact, it's more likely for it to come out for PS3 and Vita only assuming it's going to be released within the next year.
I read on an other forum that Oda made the scenario of this , is that true?
Nintendo just uploaded a wii u trailer for E3.
Dunno if it's new or not as I haven't been keeping track of what media bamco have released for this
I think it's just a slightly edited version of the original announcement trailer? No new footage, anyways.

He designed some characters for the game (Red, Pato and… the innkeeper?), but I don't think he had much to do with the story beyond that.

Now you say it was released for e3 does that mean this game might be presented there? Will NB be hosting an event at e3? Also one thing I feel off about is the traveling, I only played the Unlimited Adventure that was released in the US so I never got to play Unlimited Cruise but is that how traveling was done it those games, versus walking there like in UA.
Okay thanks you FireMeowth.
Man, whoever's been in charge of putting together these English trailers couldn't edit their way out of a paper bag.
^They should inquire about job openings at 4Kids.
Official guide book cover.
Okay thanks you FireMeowth.
Turns out I was actually wrong - according to the E3 Fact Sheet for the game, he also acted as a supervisor for the story! That said, he probably didn't have much impact on the plot beyond just OK-ing it. :P
I'm glad to hear there will be classic controller support for this title. I get excited for any game that lets me use my Gamecube controller hack, let alone a One Piece one that does. The last time that happened was Grand Battle… though I really had to mute the audio for the 4Kids dialogue on that one, haha.
Doesn't be act as supervisor for anything one piece related? Plot-wise, I meant. I think he has to OK all the fillers and offshoots to make sure they don't mess anything up.
So the new dragon ball game was shown at e3, any chance World red would be shown too?

Nintendo put World Red up on their Youtube page
So that's it huh, guess since game comes out in 2 days not much else can be told. Well hope that which ever of you get the game in the next couple of weeks enjoy it, and good luck on your adventure.
New Jump scan.
OH! The clothes from Wake Up! opening are DLCs. Thanks redon.
Weird this was known way ahead of time, why waste a scan on it now? Also not liking the design so much, it's my only problem with the games the terrible costumes especially the Unlimited Adventure ones. Although I do love those dlc costumes like luffys strong world one, does anyone know if they will be releasing the other costumes for nami, robin, and zoro outside of Japan?
http://www.shonengamez.com/2014/06/11/one-piece-world-red-battle-coliseum-dlc-videos-3ds-version/ Some game play from the updated 3ds version is out if anyone is interested.
To be more specific it is Coliseum mode.
So this game should be out in Japan, right?
I'm really wondering what runs better, the Wii U or the PS3 version.

20 playable characters only. no blackbeard or mihawk. not what i was expecting.
That's it? Washed up game.
This looks like so much fun. Only a few more weeks! Can't wait!
Any idea how US customers will get that tournament mode on 3ds? Will we have to download it or will it be preloaded on the game, unlike the Japanese version.
Dang, I'm envious of that Zoro armor too bad the US won't get it.
Well, it doesn't say anything about being exclusive, so I think it might be available at a cost for those of us who don't get it through pre-ordering.
Going back to the case of the Zoro Armor Pack, it has appeared as a pre-order bonus on many European stores, including Amazon stores, along with this:
[Warning: GIANT image](http://multimedia.fnac.com/multimedia/bandeaux/jeuxvideo/2014-S1/OnePieceUnlimitedWorld/OPUWR - Pre-order - Zoro Armor Pack - Global Image.jpg)
As you can see, it's listed as "Early and free access" to the DLC, suggesting that it will indeed be made available for a fee for those who don't get it through pre-ordering.
I hope that's the case, at least - or I might have to buy three copies of the game. :P
I'm pretty confused as far as American special packs go. I'll just be picking up anything that says 'day one' and buying all DLCs. (PS3 and 3DS). Can't wait for this game; only a few weeks.
im wondering if the Day one DLC's will be realesed even on the PSN version for a limited amount of time, i would like to buy the dd version but i don't want to lose the costumes :/
I just noticed that the DLC section on the official website has been added (but not unlocked in the menu bar yet).

It's a bit worrying that the Takoyaki Pack from the Chopper Edition isn't listed…
I assume it's still gonna be available as a standalone DLC pack, though. I don't think they'd be so evil as to not only make it PS3-exclusive, but also lock it away from US players and behind a rather large paywall. I hope not, at least. :P
(EDIT:
Just noticed that the DLC that Japan only got through the special 3DS bundles (Luffy's Strong World Suit and Chopper's Strong World Bathrobe + quests) are listed.
If they're making those more easily available than in Japan it would seem even less likely that they'd lock away the Takoyaki pack.)
looks like the game will be out tomorrow and not the 27 (at least here in italy), also the PSN have been updated and list a season pass for this game at the absurd price of 30 euro o.o
The Season Pass lists 16 quests and 12 costumes, but the DLC page only lists 16 quests and 10 costumes… Where did those two extra costumes come from...?
Can't be the Takoyaki Pack, either, because that comes with three costumes and a quest... which means it might not be released as a stand-alone DLC? Or at least not as part of the Season Pass? :/
This is all so confusing... Hopefully we'll get some clarification soon.
aww, to hell with it. Cancelled my 3DS preorder as I've decided to get the Wii U version instead. Takes up a lot of space but I can always buy a hard drive if I need more space down the line.
Amazon shipped the game today so maybe i'll have it tomorrow … when i have no time to play it because World Cup.
And i got a code for an armor-style costume for Zoro which i didn't know of, so that's cool.
Got my copies today, little keychain that comes with them is pretty iffy
Got my One Piece: Unlimited World Red - Chopper Edition
So jealous at the people who already have their games… the downloadable versions are up a day early, but my order has shipped and will most likely be here tomorrow, so I can't really let the temptation get to me. :P
Oh well... I guess I can wait just one more day. I'll (hopefully) be joining your ranks tomorrow! :)

So I'm about five hours into it now and I'm having some mixed feelings about it.
The control changes are probably the most annoying thing to me. I feel like they had a pretty nice balance between advanced and basic controls with the Cruise games that is sort of lost here, there are only two basic attack buttons combined with a jump and super attacks that make for some bland and repetitive (In an Unlimited game, I never) gameplay. The removal of a dash function is also rather odd after being used to it from all the previous games (you will miss that dash). Then we come to the mechanics they introduced for this game. The strong words system is alright, I don't really have much to say about it for or against. It strikes me as sort of forgettable with no real impact though. The counter system though… I really don't like, it takes so much away from the combat now that the enemies deal 3x the damage and you're expected to press circle every other second to dodge every attack.
Actually I don't really have that much to say about the rest, the story is about what you would expect and even though I'm not a huge fan of the new collecting, crafting etc. systems they're alright. If you like the other Unlimited games you will like this but it might take some getting used to.
Yeah one thing that bugs me is that enemies deal waaaay to much damage, as you're supposed to dodge or counter everything…
Other than that, I've no gripes with it so far! Definitely really fun.

So jealous of you folks in Europe.

Yea was about to say "what out today, I better not miss day one bonus dlc"
We get it in America on July 8th right?
Oh shit, I'm on vacation july 8th. How can I download day 1 then? Any way to pre-order on eshop?
No idea, but I'll be on vacation then, too. Will be buying it whenever I am at that point. I'll enjoy it on the 3ds until I get home and fly through it on the ps3, too
Im downloading the game on the 3ds shop now!

This sums up my opinion pretty much after about 3 hours play. In some ways it feels like a step down from Unlimited Cruise.
Also the 3 characters at once-gameplay seems a bit chaotic at times.
Maybe i'll get used to the changes after a while, i haven't played enough to really build an opinion yet.
My Wii U copy just arrived in the post! Don't have time to play before the evening, but that's fiiiine. Everything is good now that it's here! :D
EDIT:
Interestingly, the back of the box says that there are more than 20 DLC quests, which is way more than what you'd get with the PSN Season Pass.

Ooh, questions: how does the Gamepad handle, control wise? And is wiimote + nunchuk a control option?
No dashing is quite the disappointment. I guess they figured level-based gameplay doesn't need it as much as open world. Damn. I used the shit out of the dash before. Sucks that you have to counter all the time, but I have always liked using the vanishing dodge, so I might be okay with this. We'll see.
What're the new crafting systems? Can you level up the character moves, or just the characters? I assume you unlock new moves as you go, at least.
also keep in mind the last "action-y" One Piece game I played was of the Grand Battle series, with Unlimited Adventure passing me by. So….I could get into this game quickly and efficiently...right?
