Now, now that's not any reason not to actively ship a couple… Look at Luffy, its been confirmed by Goda himself that Luffy isn't interested in romance of any kind except "romance of adventure", but many people still ship him with Hancock, Vivi, Nami, Usopp, Robin, Zoro, Ace, Smoker, Crocodile ect, ect, ect.

Feel free to ship some crack-couples that will never really happen ... trust me it's fuuuun

It is true, I do ship Bonney with X Drake. I'm still going to wait to choose a side to ship and the meantime, there are fanarts to look at and fanfics to create and read.

In other words, when Luffy is alone, his reaction is what it was with Hancock. He's interested, but he's not entranced by her. But when he's with Usopp, who's the same age, it's like a kid on a school trip: his bad side comes out!! Yeah, both sides of Luffy feel right to me, so the culprit is definitely Usopp!!

Here he somewhat dodges the question again and i guess it's all about reading comprehension here. What i got from that answer was Oda again not giving a direct answer and on the bolded he is implying Luffy is actually interested in women but Usopp brings the bad side in him that is concealed by his pureness.

Not really, firstly he never gave a clear cut answer he just said Usopp was suspicious and it still stands that he reacted to Nami twice and didn't react to Hancock.

I know what you're talking about and i found the source of the interview and the words were twisted, he said One Piece started off as a shounen but now he has such a large audience and a lot of them are females. The females often ask for romantic scenes but i'm not willing to respond.
The bolded part turned into it's a shounen manga and there won't be any romance

I don't disagree with those pairings, I'm neutral on them actually. I think, You're putting on some shipping goggles with that pic. Now, I don't mind shipteases that authors/mangaka have in some media works.But, I do mind the usage of shipping goggles used by fans to prove pairings. I've seen the darkside of shipping and shipping wars and how shipping goggles worked to prove that pairing x is used to prove that pairing Y is wrong to ship. I'm just saying that I don't exactly like shipping goggles usage in a general way and not for this pic specifically due to a bad taste in my mouth with seeing fans argue over pairings.

I agree, that is my least fave pairing. I just can't get over that they do not get along at all. If I pair up either of them with a fellow male, Usopp is the first choice for both, then Luffy for Zoro. … can't picture Fanky x Zoro ... but to each their own choice

If I could draw, than I would draw this: Robin putting one leg upon Franky's chest as she carries the weapons of the Strawhats and for Nami's, Zoro's and Usopp's her hands are going to posed as if She's about to use them and for Chopper's rumble balls its going to be the hand towards her. For Luffy, it's going to be a Punch.
For Sanji a Leg in a kick pose and for Jinbe, a karate chop hand motion. This is inspired by looking at Kali statues and it combines two aspects from my favorite fanart types: Shipping and group shots.

Oda said in a SBS or whatever that he has no interest in putting any of the main characters in romantic situations, with the obvious exceptions being Hancock/Luffy and Sanji/every girl, but those are really more for the comedy than anything else. It's like Sponge Bob! These characters love each other but they aren't in love with each other, and I think that's fine just as it is! <3

As a shipper myself , I'm not that serious of a shipper and given the choice with reading a shipping fanfic of one of my ships or a series of One shots about the Strawhats being friends . I would choose the One shot series . I'll admit that, shipping is fun, but what I enjoy about one piece is that the lack of focus on romance outside what you mentioned and I'll include the established married couples as well for what is mentioned about romance in One Piece

My favorite couple easily has to be Luffy x Robin. For a variety of reasons. They just…fit to me. Especially after the Water 7 Arc. I'm even writing my fanfic for those 2 as well. Slow going, but I think the fans like it. XD

Nice choices, but you have a lot of pics -or even just a single large one- please put them in the hide feature. It makes navigating easier for those that don't A- have a lot of bandwidth/speed and B- may not like the couple choice and want to skip it.

It is as simple as [hide] in front of the section to be hidden, then copy but put /hide inside it at the end of what is to be hidden.

That's okay, I wasn't sure if you knew how to hide them or not, it took me awhile to figure it out too. But I wanted to make sure you knew since the character tournament is coming up. If you made a big post like that there without hiding, it would get the mods attention.
Good news = They would just warning you the first time and tell you how to make a hide tag
Bad news = It can be embarrassing!
I find it better to give a helpful hint where I can around the forums.

nice find for Law/Robin …though for something small and a single pic like that you would be able to get away not hiding it.

~~I've done my job~~ Seriously, you don't need to be Small single pics are fine, for a larger one or a group of pics its best to hide. … and if you mean about posting pics to campaign for characters in the tourney, same rules and you're fine.

About the getting embarrassed ... sorry that is a time old 'coming of age' experience here in AP = we all go through it at some time , its an undeniable fact. Just think, once you get a big embarrassment then you know you're on well on your way to a well-rounded experience here!

I've decided to ship Bartolomeo and Rebecca, and I'm not going back on it . I'm going to ship it like fedex too .
Also, I've been thinking about Law and his interactions with Nami, Robin and Boa Hancock and why he has no reaction to them and not one ship tease moment has happened between him and them. I have to wonder why is he like this ?. I have no problem with accepting the possibility of him being professional with them or Him being in the closet gay and the gay idea isn't just me being a yaoi fangirl. Or him being asexual or him already having a romance of his own and remains faithful to him/her . It's just my musings from what I've noticed about Dr. Law and the women

I think Law is similar to Luffy -just not interested. Luffy's not really interested, when he's reacted, its when Usopp is beside him, Oda is consistent on that and even joked "Usopp is a bad influence".

Law- he's just too serious to go ga-ga over pretty ladies even for a second. I think he's a lot like Zoro in that he's dedicated himself to a goal and won't let himself be diverted by a pretty face.
