They use chapter 498 as a citation, but there's nothing in that chapter suggesting that.
So this must be a case of never trust the wiki.

So this must be a case of never trust the wiki.True, I just reread that chapter today. Shakky was commenting on the other strong rookies that appeared on SA same time as the Strawhats (all collectively known as 11 Supernova / Worst Generation)
She never said that 100m was weak. In fact she said the ones that reached SA were the elite of all the "mountain of pirates" that enter the Grand Line. Only thing she said in that chapter implying weakness a different topic altogether- she said "he's (Rayleigh) about 100 times stronger than you boys." No way that can be taken to mean 100m bounties was weak in New World.
So yeah I agree, its a case where the wiki can't be trusted. -
I think Ussopp's bounty will go way up - at least 100 m+
because I think the comedy of that would be funny
think of snipers going after ussopp and one of the other
strawhats saing something like “that’s the tenth one this week. -
I honestly think Usopp is actually worth 100 mil+

While the weak/common in the New World part was never stated, Blackbeard was after someone with at least 100M.
And to quote the man: "I'm not after small fry" implying that anything bellow 100M was not worth of mention. -

I saw the same citation on the wiki but only when I was trying to find where I was recalling the original statement from.
No way I'd have taken anything from the wiki, storywise, and claimed it as fact.

I don't think the bounty will increase that much. Luffy has already hit a celestial dragon and defeated several samurais of the sea.
Also, there's not much difference in 250 mio.Belly or 450 mio.Belly imho. The equevalence of that in our world is still a shitload of money. At that amount, every Pirate-DF-user or admiral will try to get/kill me (wether or not he or she is able to do it). The fact that the marines only raise the captains bounty at these incredibly highs, tells me that they want to spread betrayal across the crew of said captains. As a not so loyal crew member I get half the bounty for poisoning my captain and can go free (I assume). Without a leader the crew falls apart and one problem is solved. That's what I would do as WG and marines. Sadly for them, there are guys with incredible charisma, like the Yonkos. Noone betrays or can defeat them cause they are too strong for that. This is why the Shichibukai exist along the admirals.
(Why do I tell that? Everybody knows) Anyway, the point is, Zoros and the other SH-crews bounty will not increase that much because, yeah, they doesn't matter and they should betray their boss. Zoro alone may be stronger than any other captain from all the Blues. But the fact that he is second commander of Luffy puts his bounty in the lower stages.
