@Neaeran:
I always wanted to buy some OP-figures but i never got around to actually doing it. Plus i only really knew about POP which i wouldn't buy because of the price.
So i found the Grandline-Men figures which look really good and they aren't that high priced. But since i have zero experience i thought i'd ask you guys if you could recommend these or any other line which has good quality at a relatively low price.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
Yeah the GLM stuff is a good line, though some of the oldest ones are little more expensive now. For the girls, I really like the Snap Girls collection, very reasonably priced and quite cute.
If the sculpts aren't that off putting then the cheapest way to go is always the Styling figure lines. The little Bandai FCs are nice too.
FAZ is a grab bag. Some figures in the line are exceptionally well done… but most are crap, either by an awful sculpt or most often a semi-decent sculpt but with the most awful paint job. I know a lot of people think they're all crap but I have a few in the line that are excellent, but I do have more that are so-so or just bad.
For me I mostly do the POPs & FAZ (when there is someone I really like, right now I've got all the characters I care for.. until Gladius merch starts showing up XD)
@Raithos:
I will always step in to add a retort to you when you try to defend FAZ. You get what you pay for and it really shows in this line. I used to be like you, and I used to have a little faith in the line when it started, but that ended fast. Final quality is always a gamble and it tips towards the crappier side most of the time. I will totally admit that some of them are really damn good, like the most recent Battle versions of Luffy, Zoro and Sanji, also Ace ones tend to be spot on. They also tend to do a decent job on the bigger pieces like Shirahoshi, Jinbe, C.C. etc. but for a lot of the line it's been crap so far.
The Limited Edition ones seem to have the absolute best quality, but the regular lines are so terribly painted it ruins the entire thing immensely. Most of their sculpts would be passible if the paint job wasn't so god-awful.
