Can you fill the bar multiple times per battle?
Yeah, from my experience the bar will favor the opposing team after you've used victory burst once, but if you manage to beat the enemy hard enough and avoid damage from them, you will end up being able to use victory burst again without letting the enemy team use it.
The voltage meter increases when you do damage and get damaged, and when it's full you can activate victory burst. But after you use victory burst and it ends, it gets much easier for the opponents to get it. You can only use your ultimate once you're in victory burst mode, and the burst mode is timed. And when you use an ultimate attack, a chunk (30-50% i believe, i think the number is different depending on what characters ultimate attack you use) gets taken from the timer, so you can at most use an ultimate twice per time you're in burst mode.
Every character can be used as support, and some have multiple actions.
The timer is represented by 3 lightnings, and every ultimate attack uses one lightning. Some characters like Medaka or Seiya need to transform before doing the ultimate attack, but that transformation doesn't consume the timer.
While I'm at it, I'll throw a few questions myself:
! Nubee joins the team and Ace and Seiya are posessed or something, but now the ship doesn't have the cannon again and I don't know where I have to go. How do I continue?
What does Kuroko do in the battle? Confuse the opponent or something?
What are the commands for the CPU partner? I'm guessing the punch is "Go wild", the ban sign is "Don't use specials" and the arrows pointing to the center and outside are "Attack the enemy I'm attacking" or "Attack the enemy I'm NOT attacking" respectively.
How does the Cross Break work exactly? I've tried to pull it off with 2VS1 fights (throw him into the air, the partner "spikes" the opponent against the ground, you spike him again and then you push Triangle on the ground to do an Special Attack) but the Cross Break banner only appeared once. Do we have to be synchronized or something?
I've been playing this game for the past few hours, and it's a ton of fun.

Well, after having made this game, I hope they go back to making a manga-based jump game on 3ds so they can use whoever they want. Also, we probably would be able to have more characters that way as well.

I really do hope that this game comes to the States (although I highly doubt that would happen).
I really want them to get rid of the slow dodges that some characters have (Ichigo, Aizen, Killua (don't remember if anyone else has it)) in a patch, because they seriously make playing the characters unappealing. There is no window to use that slow-ass dodge in a close-quarter fight, and all you can do is block. I want to play Ichigo since I like his moveset, but he is WAAAY too slow.
Does anyone know of a FAQ or guide for the sidequests on the Story mode? I think I'm near the end (I'm collecting three rods or something) and there's two sidequests where I don't know what to do: one from Bobobo's level and another one from Assassination's Classroom level.

I really want them to patch it so you can't spam Don Patch as bobobo, because he is literally untouchable while don patch is out. I doubt they will do jack shit though.
This game literally has the worst community I've ever seen, 9 out of 10 times when I beat the host, they kick me from their lobby.

I'm still wondering how the hell Bamco got the licensing rights for all those characters to release the game over here. I never would've thought they'd bring it over…I'm kinda pissed now since I actually imported the original game, now I'm wondering if I have to pay another $50 just for more characters or will they be releasing a giant update for previous owners of Victory VS at a discounted price? I'll probably just bite the bullet and buy the PSN English version if they do manage to sneak in more characters and since my PS3 disc drive doesn't work anymore.

I bought the Japanese version on release and while it was cool to see some of my favorite characters fight together actually playing it was awful.
Unless that + means more characters and a balance patch this will still suck.

Maybe there was a loophole of "video game apareances" that they managed to exploit.

I doubt Deku or characters from Zumo will get in, due to them being fairly recent series.

EDIT: Maybe this game is what that DLC data found in the original was about? Maybe those are some characters getting in, and they didn't want previous buyers/importers to miss out completely.
EDIT: Actually, what characters could you see NOT returning? I could see Taro, Luckyman and the Sakigake characters being removed, due to their obscurity, especially in the west.
I'd love if they did another JUS, because I enjoyed the sprite/manga/SFx style more than the models.
Isobe is old enough and… notable enough to get in as support. And yeah, both Zumo and Hero Academy are very recent and unliklely, but it's dated for summer, depending on how much promotion they want to do to the newbies.
New characters.. I don't know, but the fact that there were 52 characters seems deliberate, I hope that they don't limit themselves for it, but then again there's not much time

IGN just released an article where they talked to the game's director, and he mentioned that it was hard to put some non-fighting characters in an action setting. This is odd, considering he's talking about the western release, not the initial game. This might mean that some new characters are not known for their action.

Play the Ps3 Version since Release and love this Game, my second best Fighting Game. Have completed nearly all Campaigns, only 1 left. Tje Gameplay is much fund but needs a little twaks so I hope the Balance Changes comes in Hand here. Will buy it again for Ps4, since I really love it. Medaka is the best I love her Playstyle :D

At the start of the porting process they said that they didn't know if they were going to get hold of all licenses. They did. Case closed.
