I of course know we got a 4kids branded Grand Battle and Grand Adventure, but I heard there were releases of the older games in other countries with English support. For exampe the original PS1 Grand Battle got a release in Europe. But I hear 3 and Rush did as well? I can't find any further info.
English versions of the Grand Battle titles?

I heard Rush was sold in EU.
I have the Japanese version though.

You know at all if it had English or was it just German, Italian, and Spanish like Round the Land was?

Grand Battle (PS1) was released in Japan and EU.
Grand Battle 2 and 3 have not been released outside of Japan.
Grand Battle Rush is the same game as Grand Battle (PS2/GC). The developers removed and replaced a lot of content for the localized 4Kids version as it was very behind.
Grand Adventure was a US/EU exclusive and was never released in Japan, similar to One Piece (GBA) only being released in the USA. -

I'm just gonna assume where I read about 3 and Rush (again, I know Rush was the basis for the American releases) having a European release were mistaken. A couple of non-GB games got a European localization, but that's it. I'm not surprised as I had never heard of it before, but figured I'd ask.

If you were to get an English Grand Battle, I'd get Grand Adventure. Despite it having 4kids dub voices, it has a RIDICULOUS amount of content and even ignores "4kids canon", since Kuina is dead in it.
It has: An RPG mode where you can customize your characters stats and build a crew.
New Minigames (even 2player co-op ones)
Support characters can now be hurt and destroyed (this is big since that was a glaring problem in the other Battle titles)
You can cancel/break combos now, giving the game more depth
Rush Heat isn't retarded
Usopp's impact dial isn't retarded.
Final attacks aren't retarded.
New characters: Zeff, Eneru, Ohm, Kuina, Tashigi, Vivi, Ace (he's broken as heck though, walk into your own fire for a damage buff)
New supers for strawhats.
New stages. It's the best pick. Just play it on mute if the voices bother you.

I already have Grand Adventure. I bought it back in 2007, and yes other than the voices it was great fun. Reason I was curious if there was any English versions of 2, 3 and Rush is because I'm planning a One Piece video game marathon on my Twitch.tv channel and was gonna play through several games in the series. I'll just play the Japanese versions of 2, 3, and Rush then.

It's not Grand Battle, but since you're doing a OP game marathon, "Round the Land" got a European English release, too.

Let's see, as of western releases of One Piece games:
One Piece Grand Battle (PS1) was released in Europe.
One Piece Round the Land (PS2) was released in Europe.
One Piece Grand Battle RUSH (PS2/GC) was released in America/Europe with the 4kids treatment as "One Piece Grand Battle".
One Piece (GBA) was only released in America.
One Piece Grand Adventure (PS2) was only released in America/Europe.
One Piece Pirates' Carnival (PS2/GC) was released in America/Europe with the 4kids treatment.
One Piece Unlimited Adventure (Wii) was released in America.
One Piece Unlimited Cruise 1 & 2 (Wii) were released in Europe.
One Piece Gigant Battle (NDS) was released in Europe.
One Piece Pirate Warriors (PS3) was released in America/Europe (America only got digital distribution).
One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP 1 & 2 (3DS) were released in Europe.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 (PS3) was released in America/Europe (America only got digital distribution).
One Piece Romance Dawn (3DS) was released in Europe and will be out in America next month. And I think that's it, every european release is in english except for Round the Land which I can't confirm since I only know the version which is German/Italian/Spanish.
If it's just "Grand Battle" games you're interested in, the first one on the PS1 and Gigant Battle (which is based on the PS1 Grand Battle games) are the ones that got released in english but not in America.
-
Minor omission: there was a GC version of Grand Adventure as well. I remember it being the superior version too, since the music that played during the ultimate attacks ended up desynched in the PS2 version due to hitching camera transitions.
-
Forgot to mention there was no GC version of Grand Adventure for Europe, let me know if anything is missing!

I always wanted to see Dragon Dream (GBA) translated into English. I love that game and it was actually my first real exposure to the series after the 4kids dub way back in 2005.

wait, that GBA game was America-only?

One Piece (GBA)? Yes, it was a 4kids sactioned game. It recycled sprites and stuff from WonderSwan Coliseum.
