I was at least expecting the Chargers to beat the Raiders. They're chances of making the playoffs continues to dwindle.
NFL Season 2013
-
-
Jets win! Jets win! J-E-T-S!
-
AFC is finally kicking the NFC's ass! And I'm loving it!
-
Are the Falcons really this terrible? Or are the Jets just that good?
-
i think it's the Jets' defense not completely rolling over with Revis gone. And Geno taking Sanchez's job forever
-
This is pretty much how every Falcons game went last year, except the comebacks always worked in their favor. I guess they just ran out of luck.
-
So basically the Falcons are the Baltimore Orioles…
-
I don't know what that means.
I guess I should be careful because the Colts have made a living on winning close games for years now. I hope our luck doesn't turn around.
But then again, none of that matters. When the Lions had their worst season ever, I think they lost some 9 games by 7 or less, but they weren't a decent team with bad luck, they were just a terrible team. Same thing happened to the Rams the last time they went 2-14. I think they had 10 of those, but they were just a bad team. The Falcons are probably just a bad team.
-
Anyone else watch The League of Denial Frontline special? I see why people believe the NFL may have forced ESPN from dropping out of this at the 11th hour
-

RIP to AP's son.
I'm feeling sick. Hope that asshole rots in prison for the rest of his life. And then in whatever hell may exist. It takes a special kind of sick fuck to beat a toddler to death.
My utmost condolences to Peterson. May his son Rest in Peace.

The Rams are doing a great job against Houston. I thought that score on that kickoff fumble was great.
-
I'm getting tired of this Fantasy BS. I just can't catch a break. We're into the second slate of games and I'm sitting at negative points. Come on.
-
Fantastic finish for that Saints and Pats game.
Haven't seen Brady do that in a while (against a good team that is) since 2007.
-
Alright X, time to show what giraffes do to unbeaten fantasy teams.
licks his chops -
Alright X, time to show how giraffes lose to unbeaten fantasy teams.
licks his chopsYes. You're right. It is time to lose!
@Nex:
Thanks for coming to the draft guys! I think it went pretty well, with some nice casual banter, and terrible picks by X. I think we know who's going to be the whipping boy this season. ;D
Thursday just can't come quick enough!LOL!! The Irony of this post is pure gold!!!!
-
Picking Seattle over Arizona tonight.

I have to drop out of the picking. Work is getting crazy as hell now that we have a premiere date.
I'm going to do my best to keep up with fantasy. Don't lynch me if I fail to do so. (Not like I'm doing much this season anyway.)
-
You may want to make someone a co-commissioner then. Just in case.
-
Just wanted to take a moment to thank whoever put Brees on waivers, and everyone else for not picking him up. Couldn't ask for a better mid-season reinforcement.
-
I did try and pick him up. It was Waivers though, guess you had the highest claim. Still baffled as to why he was dropped.
-
Yeah, I was 2nd in the waiver list, so my chances were really good once I saw him.
But still, weirdest move I've ever seen. Dropping one of the top performers on the league out of nowhere.
-
The leagues have an option for a Can't Cut List. We should probably make sure to use that next year.
-
Yeah I saw Brees too but I knew I had no chance of picking him up
-
Taking a loss for the Thursday game I missed.
Tampa Bay at Atlanta
Cincinnati at Detroit

Sweet, I won't miss the Den/Ind game
-
Brady was so awesome in that final drive
I know he threw a pick on the drive before, but everybody conveniently forgets that on the drive before the pick, he DID HIS PART but his receivers chose the worst time to drop their passes. That Brandon Bolden was the most painful since he was standing right there, face-to-face on what was literally a 5 yard pre-game warm-up pass.
-
Who called it? Me. Hell yeah, Indy! If we don't have to face the Chargers in the playoffs, I'm liking our chances of going far. Hope Wayne is okay.
-
That game just would NOT die. 3 punts in a row, christ. Not to mention that it had more flags than a Parade of Nations
-
I actually didn't get to see any of it whatsoever, so now I'm even more upset about missing it, knowing the Colts pulled it off :/
-
Mike Florio thought Irsay's comments way stupid on ProFootballTalk. But, I thought it was good. They were meant to put pressure on Peyton Manning - the same type that he would usually have during the Playoffs.

If Irsay would have stopped once the game ended then I would be fine with it. HOWEVER considering he has continued to talk shit on his twitter after the game has made him look like an idiot
-

You have both Brees and Romo. So either way, every week, a lot of points are gonna be wasted as one of them sits on the bench. It's like putting money in a trash barrel and setting it on fire.
-
Doesn't mean he can't use either one of them as trade bait in the near future.
-
Actually, Romo is up to trade if anyone is interested, since Brees already had his bye-week.
Looking for some RB since my "top performers" Rice and Spiller are kind of sucking.
