I have the NEO Lucci, and I must be one of the few people who actually prefers it to the 1.5…......I just found the new Lucci's face is to "real" and not cartoonish enough.

That's one of the things I like about Ajiken's sculpt, they're very cartoony which I like.

I have the NEO Lucci, and I must be one of the few people who actually prefers it to the 1.5…......I just found the new Lucci's face is to "real" and not cartoonish enough.

That's one of the things I like about Ajiken's sculpt, they're very cartoony which I like.

Okay, yeah I really prefer the 1.5 because I like the realistic and up to date look. The paints also rock, making it a damn fine figure!
But both work with Kalifa :D.

Ah nice, have to say Kalifa and Sadi seem like the best female POPs to me. I like Boa to (red version) but girls always look better in poses :D.

You guys are best to stop referring to Hancock as "Boa" or your going to incur the wrath of Al!na again!

But yeah, I wasn't collecting figs of female characters either originally, but Ajiken really changed my opinion, Hancock, Perona, SA Nami, SA Shirahoshi, SA Robin, SA Perona, Kalifa and now Vivi are all gorgeous figures!!

Thats awesome Tabasco! I just found nami on mandarake when I was making an order and thought it was cool. Unfortunately everyone else I'd want was sold out already but I'm definitely buying more if I ever see them. They had ones from 2011 or something aswell that were pre-ts but they were on cork I believe which made them alittle hard to see. Didn't look as nice.

I believe they were limited sets from a few years back. There are three. The first is a pre-TS one which is metal and pre-TS. 10th one is Sunny IIRC. 2nd set is Cork and has a cowboy theme. 10th was Ace. Again pre-TS. Third is the one you got and 10th was Sunny again I think.

I think the first two were done as sets. But the third they were singles free when you bought vol 61 in select shops.

I find when you have lots of different sculptors the styles/scales really differs between the figures, making them look out of place when displayed together.

Obviously as individual pieces though they look very good. At least the the SCultures Big Versions do. Some of the original volumes really sucked, lol

No, these aren't all MSPs - there's Tiger & Bunny and 4 JJBA: Rohan, Jotaro, Josuke and Giorno.

I will be getting her that is for sure (I am getting all of SCultures anyway), but our post is very slow this year and it takes me about 4 to 8 weeks to get SAL shippings nowadays :/ So I'm afraid you might see a million of pictures from others before mine comes.

Not sure where to post economics related info, but I'm going to put it here anyway since it's not discussed often enough and impacts us as collectors:

It sounds like Japan is starting to make a recovery, therefore the recent stimulus measures imposed by the bank of Japan need not be so aggressive going forward. We could therefore start to see the Yen value creep up over the next few month, so suggest anything you have been eyeing up on Manda or in Amiami/Rakutan/HS sales, you go for sooner rather than later….........

I think I will order a 2nd Kalifa in GBP now after all................

Hopefully next year the yen will be at a rate where I'll be able to finally sell some figures without make a loss

Yeah that kinda sucks. I didn't read in all those problems since I am very happy with Nippon Yasan as a EU buyer I can even use IBAN to pay. No Paypal noncence etc.

I mostly sell figures to friends or on ebay or MFC.

It's from amazing scene of Robin declaring her being Poseidon? It's like, representing her inner potential as a terrible weapon? A concept of outer beauty and piece having something monsterous inside? It's brilliant.
