All of the animal names on this forum make for some really amusing conversation. We've got wolves, monkeys, parrots, birds, birds with ties (very different and deserving of separate categorization), pomeranians…
I came up with this name when I was 12 and haven't turned back. Demonicpoodle. I have no relation to poodles in any way. I actually am rather ambivalent towards them. How did I come up with this.
Enzeru's a p. sweet name, would party with in an MMO.

Ok guys so I wanted to read the alabasta arc because I didn´t know about the manga by then but the chapters are illegible, I´ve looked through different sites but the quality of the panels are dreadfull. Where can I find a better resolution of those specific chapters?

Have a bookstore anywhere that lets you chill in there and read what they've got? If they have those volumes there, that's the best way to read Alabasta right now. There's been a re-scanlation effort by many people for One Piece and Alabasta is the only part that remains muddied in quality.

Oda kinda retconned (debatable whether it actually is or is not a retcon) this by saying that Luffy did this because of Usopp's influence on him. Since Usopp was doing it, Luffy did it.
And I wouldn't be able to take it Sander. Too much of my life has already been spent on Internet cats.

I know what you mean. I wanted to reread it myself about half a year back on mangareader/mangainn but scanalations were pretty much unreadable.

I predict D block will (mostly) be handled off-screen.
I think that after block C there will be some shit with Luffy and such. Maybe we'll get to see part of D (beginning, a bit of the middle, the end fights) or either we'll just get another A block where only the winner is announced. -

Yeah Ace was fairly emo after he got captured. I thought he was kinda neat back in Alabasta but then after getting captured he deflated into whiny teenager. I know everyone and their mom loses 5 liters of tears at some point in One Piece, but his crybaby self was aggravating.
My friends and I thought about playing the "crying game" (not the other crying game…) for One Piece when we watched multiple episodes in a day. Everytime a character cries take a shot lol.
I was about to say that I don't think we've seen anyone cry this arc yet, but I think Violet may have begun to tear up...Might have to check.

He was being told by everyone around him how horrible his father was and that he was the son of the devil. When you are told that for your whole life you might develop some sort of hatred towards the man that, in an indirect way, brought you that treatment, even if he never met him. Anyway, heres to hoping for a good chapter this week :)

I think Ace might have been upset at the fact that Roger left him and Rouge to go and be executed. Still, though, he's a numbskull for not considering that if Roger had stuck around, the Marines would've figured out their relationship a lot sooner.

Ace's words I think would have carried more weight if he himself didn't become a pirate too. If he was an aspiraing Marine and his life wound up the way it did I think that would have been more tragic. Instead he basically went the same route.

That hated was justifiable when he was a kid for the reason you evoked.However once Ace became an adult and set out to sea(following btw the path of his late father and becoming an outcast just like roger)he should have known that this hatred was unwarranted.

I like that since it means he has flaws, it's what makes him human. He's not a perfect character (like those Ace fangirls think…)

People who think he was flawless probably stopped reading/watching one piece after the alabasta arc.
With the banaro incident,the impel down and marine ford arcs culminating with his death many of his flaws were revealed. -
