The super rare character flashback made me even more curious about Sunny. Did he always have feeler hair? Or did that develop later? Cause even when we've seen him at his youngest he's got the multicolored hair. Was he born with it? Or did that develop later? Cause that's a pretty non human trait to have. I couldn't picture him starting off with the multicolored hair and then after modifications he decided which sections of hair could represent what.

I'm pretty sure the President injected them with Gourmet Cells when they were still kids.
and IRC the only one we saw as a kid before he was adopted by the president was Toriko in that flashback of the christmas special, so I guess the coloring is indeed something caused by the Gourmet Cells rather than something genetic, or else Rin's hair would be the same way.

Yes…but how young? It was indicated he found them as starving orphans. But did Sunny has his hair before that? It just seems like a really weird thing to me. Also I imagine that'd really mess with your head if you could suddenly feel and taste from 300000 different directions.

! Against Toriko it was kinda obvious who would win, but Sunny is something else. I have no clue, I don't know who's gonna come triumphant in this battle, but I know Sunny will pay a huge price for driving his body way beyond the limits.

! Tommy is absolutely amazing! But he's too reckless. He's fighting Sani like he fought Toriko. He's leaving too much open points. In the next chapter, unless the scene would move away, the fight will end with Tommy win. It won't be a clear win, anyway.

! yeah, this chapter was really good, but I've got a feeling Sani will win this. Maybe next chapter Tommy will introduce some weird body mechanism that gets rid of the hair inside him, but I kinda doubt it. Seems things will work out to Sanis favor, another reason why I think this might happen, is because the way Shima chooses to potray satans hair ability. Simply, next chapter Sani will win, but he will fall unconscious because he overrused it, seems like the usual shonen method. In that way, Sani will still be able to call this his win while being out of battle for the rest of the tournament. I hope not, because I'm rooting so much for Tommy it's not even funny, but whatever.
Maybe next chapter after the fight's been decided, we'll at least see a glimpse of the other kings battles. Toriko completely dominated Star, and Grin had the upper hand -

I've always said Shima was at his supreme best when doing superlative, extremely over the top fights: he's super good at showing the strength behind each and every impact, he doesn't shy away at all to show brutal hits and their aftermath, and there's a degree of strategy and creativity amidst all the super badass melee that steps it even a step further.Superb stuff.

Seeing this I finally understand why Shima did not even start the first match of the finals. Between Zaus sudden disappearance, that Komatsu had absolutely no chance to pass to the next round, and the fact this could be the last festival as Shigematsu stated, is best if this day is forgotten by everybody. Shortly put, make as if this edition of the Cooking Fest never happened in first place. These are my two cents.

! Loved this chapter. Wonder how many other fights are going to be given this treatment. Excited of things to come, but this chapter was Amazing.
! Hate being reminded about the fact that the cooking fest prelim matches were skipped over though, cause I cared. It's not about the results of the match. I care about seeing the top chefs in the world show off their cooking prowess and Shima having fun creating cool cooking competitions and match up ideas. But seriously, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse every time I type this…
! Lately I've been thinking that having Soma in Jump's lineup might have been part of the reason why the cooking was skipped over. Hard to compare when another manga is collaborating with someone that knows what she's talking about. -
