Oh goodness, never thought I'd see that kind of thing in OP XD
Ah well, we'll see when more info comes around :P
Movie 7: Karakuri Shiro no Mecha Kyohei/Karakuri Castle's Mecha Giant Soldier
-
-
Hey, if you can see a cyborg in OP (which I think is more futuristic than simple robots), then mechas wouldn't be a surprise. It wouldn't hurt to try msomething new, would it?
-
I've yet to see any of the movies, but this definetly looks interesting. Sometimes mechas are pretty darn cool, and it'd be interesting to see how the StrawHats can handle it (if, in fact, it even is a mecha).
-
So does the mecha have a name or what?
-
Will Movie 7 have the same animation as Movie 6?
-
maybe they it will, but I think it will
-
Talking about movies…. Does anyone know where you can download Movie 6 subbed?
And if it isn't subbed, can you at least direct me to the raw version.
Thank you.
-
Look in the thread about Movie 6, Roman. :) There's a link.
BTW, from what can be made out from the info on the official website, it seems that it's not the same director from movie 6, but it is the same writer.
-
-
looks amusing, do Robins busts look even bigger than usual on that poster? spaz
-
And if you're curious, Doraemon has 32 movies. Now isn't that even more overkill?
-
32? Wow!
What's Doraemon? -
You're serious, aren't you…?
Doraemon is one of the longest running anime to exist, with almost 2000 episodes... He's the famous as hell blue robot cat who has a 4th dimensional pocket that stores all kind of cool gadgets from the future. I'm sure you know who he is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doraemon -
XD Nope, never heard of it. But that pic on Wikipedia does look familiar.
Man, I must look like a real idiot. XD -
Usopp has impact dial. ^_^
-

Doraemon!!!!!!!!!!! I used to love that! It just amuses me how had ears and they were bitten off by a robo-rat
-

Robin got her own. -
huh?? is that so?? checks the pic again….
oh yeah... you're right... my mistake, I thought Nami wear her bracelet on her right arm -
looks amusing, do Robins busts look even bigger than usual on that poster? spaz
Perhaps Robin is the opposite to Nami; instead of growing every arc, it's every movie.
Movie looks sweet though, haven't been to disappointed by the movies so far, so let's hope this will be as good.
-
I think you have an accurate guess Xephon. But they'd better shrink or else their waists will snap with all the weight
-
do they have some romantic in it coz i'm starting to hate the hole op ….
well if it is for kids then XD .....
-
Well, after seeing 2 trailers of the movie, they're going back to the original animation.
-
Thank god…
Though I still have misgivings about a mecha plot... if any cookie-cutter gundam characters show up, i'm leaving the theater! (with my mecha chopper)
-
Both trailers can be veiwed here.

LOL! (Luffy out Loud!) XD
What's the story about btw? can anyone translate?

Well, after seeing 2 trailers of the movie, they're going back to the original animation.
Yes, thank goodness for that. I personally prefer the original animation compared to last movie (movie 6).
Hmm, finally a mecha, after all what's a shounen series if it doesn' have mecha
Hmmm, anyone noticed, that the clothes for Luffy & the gang are wearing are old? They usually use new version of clothes/costumes.
-
I noticed the clothes Usopp is wearing is from Movie 5.
-
Luffy tired and beaten.
A giant robot stands in front of him.
AND HE GOES "SUGEEEE!!!" ><
That´s my Luffy XD -
Hmmm, anyone noticed, that the clothes for Luffy & the gang are wearing are old? They usually use new version of clothes/costumes.
Ow damn. D: I prefer new clothes because if I see always same clothes I get utterly bored…And I never really liked Zoro's outfit anyway...
I watched those trailers and I gotta say another damn. The usual drawing style is really back...Pity, I really liked movie six's style, it was different and better than the usual.
-
Hasn´t anyone noticed that more than half both trailers are scenes from movies 1 to five?

I haven't watched the trailer yet, but I remember that the very first teaser trailer for movie 6 was also comprised of clips from the previous movies. Not sure why they do that.
Edit: Just watched the trailers, and yes, the only animation in those trailers that is not from a previous movie is the mecha thing and the part where Luffy says "sugee". It's hard to tell from that little blip, but it does look slightly different, although mostly similar from the first 5 movies. But then, each movie does have it's own look. 4 and 5 are the most similar.
-
Thank god…
Though I still have misgivings about a mecha plot... if any cookie-cutter gundam characters show up, i'm leaving the theater! (with my mecha chopper)
I'm wanting a gundam to be in OP (GUNDAM FIGHT READY GOO!). XD
I bet you the king of pirates had a gundam.. and thats why he's king!Ehh I didn't really like Movie 6, though Usopp kicked ass everything else was just too weird.
-
I really liked Movie 6, and I'm really disappointed they're going back to the old style.
Even if you didn't like Movie 6, you can't deny the overall quality and production costs were tons over anything in the previous movies. It makes Movie 5 or 4 look like average TV episodes.
Here's to hoping they're merely going back to the old style while keeping the production values. Watching the films, I can't help but think Movie 6 must've had a budget five times that of any of the other movies. Ditching that won't do the already averagely-plotted films much good.
… In my opinion, of course.
-
I agree with Mog. The style of movie 6 made that really look like a movie, these others just look like an extended versions of some filler episodes. And movie 6 also had so nicely made backgrounds, I liked that when they put together 3D-backgrounds and 2D-characters, it looked stylish to my eye.
But then again, you can't always satisfy everyone.
-
they all amused me. (everything amuses me)
-
good lord those were pretty cool trailers! I got chills watching the animation for the movie… i do love the style X3
i haven't seen any of the movies yet, but i'm supposed to get some of them from a friend soon
-
Crap. The trailers aren't working properly on my laptop. The sound comes up but the picture doesn't.
-
Luffy fights a giant robot?
Pass.
-
The only thing this movie will surely lack: Franky >.< And Gear 2.
-
Can't.watch.trailers!
I keep getting that says //src…volume controls..blah blah=1> -
How come the trailers only have sound and no picture?
-
They worked fine for me. Maybe you need to update software or something.
-
Here´s one of the trailer(click in "aquÃ")
http://www.romancedawn.com/
BUT
Remember, this trailer isn´t full of movie 7, all the strawhats images(except Luffy) are from movies 3 to 5 -
Ah thanks!
I still have that problem with the trailers on the jap site. -
Oh sweet! Nice! Thanks a lot BF!!
It's getting me more excited suspicious people and an old baba.. mm.. Yes, I can't wait!!
-
Hey, cool….there's some neat looking shots there.
Here's a similar, but different one: http://pro.imagehost.biz/ims/pictes/343882.jpg
And mecha Luffy keychains. XD http://pro.imagehost.biz/ims/pictes/343881.jpg
-
So Luffy turns into a mecha? Aw god….
-
I don't think so, they're just keychains. XD
-
I hope so.
I'm getting used to the idea of a mecha in OP, but not Luffy as one.
