Theres a Crimin Nami on manda for 9000 yen, in usd thats $10 cheaper than what I paid from Otacute for the package book deal. I'm surprised she is going for that much still. I have to say I absolutely love Crimin Nami, I was really on the fence but decided to just so I wouldn't have to close my Ota account or some bs and I don't regret it at all. The book is great, very well put together just wish I could read it heh. The Ota message is the same size as the book so its pretty big and great looking on display. Nami is beautiful, paint, scuplt, everything is great. Her jewelry is a nice accent and her underboob is epic!

Recieved the Franky FAZ a week or 2 back aswell, he is the definition of SUPER! Love the size of it. I finally have the crew in FAZ form.

lmao sorry, thought you were the other guy selling POP at insane prices. But look at it this way; you kinda are selling some that aren't as wanted. While I am selling the "hot stuff" such as the shichibukai, DX, etc. And I am STILL trying to get them gone after like two months and promotions, discounts, etc. LOL

Although be aware that a lot of stores in Paris now sell bootlegs and those that aren't are usually overpriced.

^ Personally I'd avoid Manga Paris, but that is because of a bad experience I had with their online site. (Which was subsequently taken down). I had to file a paypal dispute and although I won, I never had my return postage refunded. (Paypal said the company didn't have enough funds in their account to recoup them)

Figures were both broken and one was entirely different from the item listed on the site.

The damage was cleary visable from outside the box. A broken leg was literally rattling around which I doubt was the result of shipping.

If you do go to their store, just be sure to have a good look at the contents before leaving with any figures.

I have a question for you guys regarding empty boxes and pakaging of figures. I keep everything of higher priced figures but for prize items and trading figures is there really any merit to keeping a GLL box for example. Have any of them become worth any real money? I have no room for this crap and yet I can't seem to let them go. I really am a horder when it comes to figures.

I'm just trying to gauge if having the box for a prize item is really going to affect the sale price by a fair amount. I would think that trading figure boxes are pointless to keep.

Any thoughts?

I usually flatten boxes that don't have plastic inserts (GLM etc). Can always re-tape later!

Some of the GLx figures are worth good money, sealed (see Mandarake or YAJ.) But I think even open box ones could easily bring more than their initial value in the North American market. I've paid as little as 800-1500 yen for many of them and I have no doubt they'd all sell for $20-25 easily. Having the box does increase the value because a) it proves they aren't bootlegs (toei sticker) and b) figures without boxes simply don't sell - and I'm speaking from experience here.

I agree flattening them might be a good idea, I just don't know how well re-taping would work. I guess decent quality scotch tape would be fine, just gotta make sure not to use the cheap stuff which has a totally different texture and transparency.

As for trading figures, yeah, you might as well dump the boxes. Or if you have a complete set and they all use the same box, just keep one.

I throw out basically all boxes unless there is a chance I might sell it in future. Though that's mostly as I'm not a investment buyer and display every figure I own. I do have all the GLx boxes, WCF boxes and a few other small ones that are not generic flattened. They don't take any room so I'm ok with leaving them there for the moment. But in general if I think I'm going to sell it at some point I opt to not spend the money now. Less headache!

Lol, it's not that big. But I'm definitely getting some cool additions, and looking to keep expanding it
Of course, I'm still all about DB, there's the new Ichiban Kuji coming up which I'm excited about, I really want pretty much all of the prizes from there especially the SSJ3 Goku, and also I still need to get volume 2 of the SCultures, plus the SSJ3 Broli coming up as well as the new Hybrid Grade line starting and the Colosseum figs as well, lots to see from DB :P
Still pursuing One Piece as well (like the rest of us) Gotta get that Law POP, and New Shanks at all costs. Will keep an eye on Roger and Shiki and I also want the MSP Zoro, Franky GLM vehicles, GLC Z Nami, and some other stuff…
As well as Madoka which I really like.

And yes, IK Shirahoshi is really awesome, she's so much better than Hancock and Perhona, even though they both were pretty good to begin with.

I got mine too. She's quite small for POP standard.
I don't like the sculpt of her legs.
The book is good. Would be helpful for POP hunter and completionist.
They cover all POP released, full color pictures together with the sculptor name (in Japanese) and figure height. It's thick too.
And Oda's Luffy sketch poster especially deserves a display in any POP collector wall. :)

Quality doesn't look half bad from what I can see, but will have to reserve judgement until I see him out of the box. They do always do a better job with the larger characters though.

IK and POP are the same scale, however IK looks a bit bigger due to her tail being wider and her hair having more volume.
I'm not really sure which one to recommend… POP version has better plastic quality, but IK is pretty cute... She's cheaper, too, you can ship her by SAL from Mandarake. Not that POP isn't cute! POP's colours are metalic partially, though IK is pretty bright when it comes to colours as well.

My favorite Shirahoshi figure is her HOOK! I'd go for that if you don't have it yet and don't mind it being flat on the backside.

Got my Crimin Nami and book today. I was surprised that book isn't hard-cover, but oh well! It's pretty nice.

Nami is… horrible. Literally everything about her anatomy is horrible. I hate being so bashfull about figures but yeah... Did they let the same person who made SA Luffy sculpt her? Their legs look the same formless mess. Thouse feet and knees... Sheesh! Her face looks terribly flat...

Thanks for the heads up. There are two there I like. One is Chopper forms. But I don't want it in pink…so >.< and I like the one with Shirahoshi and mermaids but can't get a clear picture.

obviously the person who sculpts OP POP does not have a foot fetish. Otherwise the feet would be super pretty haha
