    • RE: Eiichiro Oda: "The story is in the final phase"

      @Vongola_Boss_XI:

      If it weren't a mystery Oda wouldn't have been as vague and he wouldn't have had Roger be the only person to reach Lodestar in centuries.

      Why is it so hard to simply follow the log path to the extent that Lodestar was widely believed to be the mythic final island?

      It makes sense for Laugh Tale to be unreachable because the Road Poneglyphs are required. No one before Roger was able to assemble the full message and find a person capable of deciphering the stones.

      It's unfounded to say Oda abandoned plans for Lodestar. If he had, he wouldn't have ben so vague, nor would he continue to build the lore surrounding the island.

      He did not, that scene is basically Oda telling us that LaughTale is not the last Island and that the last island is not the main goal for the crew, the path they are on right now will lead them to what they really want(LaughTale), following the Log will lead them to Lodestar which will be a waste of time since what lies in there is something they already know.

      Can they go there? Sure. But Oda is telling us is kinda pointless right now.

      @Vongola_Boss_XI:

      That's not the full extent of the conversation. Also Inuarushi is only relaying secondhand information. Crocus knows more than Inuarushi and told the Straw Hats to go there. When Nami asked Inuarushi about this, he said Crocus wouldn't have lied to them and says 'continue on your way'. Which means 'go there.'

      Nami raises the point, because they haven't been following the logpose, Inuarashi answers this by saying, and I quote:

      "Yes, I understand your point. If you are curious to see where the log leads you, you are free to follow it…there is a point where all three needles point you the same location!!HOWEVER, on yourgara travels you have already begun the next adventure."

      Nami then questions what he means by that, and he answers that is in the last island that you come to a realization about the mystery of the ancient writing on the Ponegliffs, and the civilization that gave birth to them and the existence of Laughtale.

      then he talks about Crocus and reassure Nami that this path they are on(not following the log pose) is not the wrong way, just keep going.

      The chapter is 820 you can check yourself.

      @Vongola_Boss_XI:

      Yes. Crocus told them to go there and Nami and Inuarushi discussed this discrepancy directly. Inu said Croocus would not lie to them. The purpose isn't clear yet, but the Straw Hats need to go to Lodestar for some reason. And Oda would not skip the final island on the Logpose path, which is in many ways as big of a mystery as Laugh Tale. Roger somehow learned about the importance of the Poneglyphs at that location and began his journey anew. We know why Laugh Tale can't be easily reached, but Lodestar should in theory be much easier as it is simply a matter of following the Log path to its end, yet Roger was also the first to reach Lodestar in centuries. Whitebeard and the rest of the world shared Roger's assumption that Lodestar is the final island of the Grand Line. What makes reaching Lodestar so difficult? How did Roger manage the seemingly impossible? How did Roger learn about the Poneglyphs on Lodestar? And what is that Crocus wants the Straw Hats to encounter on the apparent final island of the Grand Line?

      All of these questions need to be answered. Nami and Inuarushi's conversation acts as a sort of promise that they will be answered.

      It is clear, Inuarashi says thats where you discover about Laughtale and the poneglyphs, then you start a new adventure searching for Laughtale. They don't even imply the strawhats must go there, quite the opposite actually.

      PoP's packaging are getting really realistic this days, and this to a point I had to share it here:

      @Al!naJames:

      I'm a bit late to the party… But one day I woke up thinking I should buy all the 2Y POPs I missed and got myself 4 simultaneously 😛 Even though I wanted Usopp and Brook anyway, just had to wait for the opportunity.

      http://distilleryimage11.instagram.com/9a9b2be6618b11e2b83422000a1f9e4c_7.jpg

      Welp~ Zoro and Sanji are quite usual - not better and not worse than their previous POPs. Don't really have much to say about them. Sanji is nice with his heart-eyed face on his own but looks really stupid with the rest of the crew who have serious battle poses.

      Brook is kinda… I don't know, lanky? Gangly? In a bad way? I mean, I know Brook is like that because he's tall and a skeleton, but the way they made his pose juts sort of exagerates his proportions? And don't even get me started on his box. Ridicules and absolutely not reasoned huge-ass box. I think it's hardly any smaller than, to say, Kuma's? Which is just crazy.

      http://distilleryimage0.instagram.com/22db75e2618c11e28c8722000a1f90f9_7.jpg

      And finally, I don't think I've seen anybody adress this issue before? Usopp is amazing and one of my favorite male POPs ever, but he is soooooooooooooooooooo horribly out of scale with the rest, it especially shows with Sanji and Zoro. Just oh my god?! What the fuck Megahouse, are you serious? He's almost as tall as they are even though he's crotching. And his face is almost 2 times as big as Sanjis which looks even more emphasized with all of his headgear and huge ball of hair.
      I'm glad I'm planning to display them all separetly, but this is just nonsense, I feel terrible for people who keep whole crew together on display.

      Actually they look awesome together, says someone who actually display them together.

      And about the proportion, I don't think is off actually if you look to past Usopp POPS, he is pretty much in the same proportion!
