i wonder how oda will tie everything up. he's throwing stuffs like crazy. when we thought that luffy will fight big mom, he suddenly throw dofla in the party. now, when big mom + dofla problems are not done, he throw kaidou in as well. big mom, dofla, brokers, mystery man, wano, and now kaidou. really cant tell where we are going after we're done with punk hazard.
apparently luffy wants to fight shanks as well. this is nice. hopefully my dream of shanks becoming the 'secret final boss' will come true !

If nowadays kaido is known for his 100 beasts then perhaps he was not that much strong pre-TS compared to other yonkou -
I am deeply thankful to mangapanda for their fast release, but damn their sh**ty translation made this chapter much less enjoyable than it should be.
anyway bellmere part was the best for me. Always love it everytime Oda slip a nostalgic character into the story, it reminds me why I love one piece so much…

Think of him as the Don Krieg of the New World. He'll still be very powerful, just no where near the presence that the other Yonkou command. Part of this is hinted at the fact he was trying to take out Whitebeard before he reached Marineford. He was likely trying to prove himself, but in the end he couldn't even beat Shanks' crew.

Seems like Caribou's being mistaken for someone else because of his cape(?). Old lady either helped him up or fucked him up. Also, glad to see Momonosuke's design finally, and their story got really interesting with that little conversation they had.
Oh, yeah. Kaido is the one, huh. I guess Oda did what I wanted him to do, get everyone in the New World involved immediately. No time to rest. lol

Now, does Oda end this party on a good note or a bad one!? hmmmm.

for what i've understood,kinemon was exposed very briefly to the gas..enough to turn him to stone,but not enough to poison him (the point of shinokuni is,in fact,block the victim on the spot so it can poison them to death).
So law just had to broke him to pieces with his powers,like you broke an easter egg to get the surprise.Of course, being law's power, kinemon had no problems rebuilding himself.I'm a bit stunned by the last panel…didn't rufy told to rayleight that he didn't want to conquer the shinsekai,but just get the title and the freedom it assure?
And now he is planning to go against all the emperors like he is trying to really make the new world his turf. -

luffy has shown the will to defeat all the emperor's,while law for now is just thinking about one.
So Law doesn't know if it's luffy that is helping him take down kaidou,or if law himself is just helping luffy destroy all the emperors (and probably became pirate king in the process) -

My interpretation:
Smoker hints/said Law is (somehow) using Luffy for his plan (take down an emperor).
From the flashback, Luffy said he is taking the yonkous down.
So, since Luffy's plan is taking down all yonkou all along, Law thinks he is the one being (unintentionally/unconsciously) used by Luffy.Though I wouldn't call it using each other. Helping each other for a Common/Matching interest is better. :)

What I always love the most about One Piece is the little details. Like in this chapter you see Sanji and Usopp make some kind of circle wall of bricks when the main focus of the picture is Luffy talking to Brownbeard and the marines. Then later there´s Brooks reaction shot while you see the finished circle beside Sanji. And finally, we get the meaning of the small wall. It´s used as a cooker with the big bowl on it where Sanji prepares the soup. Nice touch.
Then of course, Luffy stealing the show like he always does making Law go: "What just happened again?":shocked:

Luffy is going to defeat all the emperors because; he already had that friendly wager with Shanks, he is going after Blackbeard to avenge Ace, Big Mom for Fishman Island, and now Kaido as part of this Law alliance. The only new info is Kaido. The other three were already confirmed. Though I believe the Shanks encounter if it happens will be 'friendly'.
My favorite part of this chapter is Law's answer to smoker:"I wonder who is being used" Nothing funnier than a little self awareness LOL.

Jokes aside it wasn't a bad chapter. I was hoping some answers but at least we know witch yonkou they're going up against. I really tought that it was going to be Big Mom but maybe she comes later. Do you guys think that Law is going to help Straw hats dealing with her too?
So the gas is cureable? Guess that had to be expected but it's still kinda stupid. :getlost: Oh well, at least it gives some hope for Monet since it would be even stupider if she died and all the fodders survived in this arc.
Don't know why, but I just never liked these party scenes at the end of each arc. Maybe it's just because it looked so stupid in Alabasta when all the royal guards started laughing like idiots for no reason, but something still rubs me the wrong way about these. It's just my opinion tough.
EDIT: I don't think we're gonna see Doflamingo yet. We haven't even been properly introduced to his crew so straw hats probably go to Dressrosa to fight him.

Momonosuke and Kinemon had a dialog in which Kinemon said "I'm sure they're alright!" –hinting there is an uprising in Wano or this New Marine System wants to conquer them, so... We might get a similar arc to CP9 maybe? But this time we get to rescue a whole country rather than a person.
Well either way that dialog made me believe we will get to see Wano soon enough. Right after this one or next maybe.

Wow, didn't pay attention to this. Definitely a nice touch, indeed.
Chapter was pretty good, the usual party time chapter. I'm torn on some stuff, like Chopper being pushed to the side and letting Law do the medic stuff. Ans Shinokuni being dealt with extremely fast (and easy). That wasn't nice.
On the other hand, the Bellemere moment was good stuff, and so was Sanji finally revealing one of the 99 recipes.
I'm cool with the Kaidou revelation too, so we're fine on that.
Mangareader translation was extremely off this week, it didn't flow AT ALL.
Curious about Kinemon and Momonosuke's background.
Finally, two things:
-To the people worried about the troll yesterday and what he said becoming a reality: seriously? He said that Shirahoshi would become semi-evil and she and Luffy would team up against the fishman race. Yeah, that's gonna happen. Of course. And Alvida will be a strawhat, yeah. And Kuzan, too. Why not?
-To the people wondering about the Cover Arc; look at the guys there. Their hats. And the name of the captain they're searching for // mistook caribou for.

hmmm. A useless OP chapter. Or maybe this is the calm before the storm? Dofla and that mystery man will definitely meet them on PH. Seems like the NW will be non-stop action and excitement. I aint complainin' tho!
Luffy said he'll take down all the Yonkou…....so someone is going down soon. I just got the vibe that Luffy and Zoro are stronger than we suspect.
