I always forget this month is Brook, Perhona etc. Kept thinking it was Keimie, Kung Fu Point lol. Not sure about Hancock this time, maybe I think I will skip her. There's plenty of her out and in this line and I dun really need another.
Gonna need Chopper from the GLM tho. Robin is out next month and I have no faith of Aikoudo ever stocking these

I take it Brook, Perhona, Hancock and Real Sanji are the commons? I dunno whether to chance it with 1up or try Aikoudo in the morning. Aikoudo usually do the common 4 at 1900 or so but sell out quickly (although they had, and still have a lot of the older sets of 4 in.)

I recieved Robin and Zoro SA from Animarket, they came in a sturdy box wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap, both have the Toei stickers and are nicely placed. I haven't taken them out but they appear to be in mint condition. Didn't bring them home yet since not long after delivery the post man called and said he forgot a $20 customs charge on one of the 2 packages i recieved and to please leave them until he comes back tomorrow. :/
Animarket did declare them as $50 without me asking which is nice, should of been $130. All in all Animarket did fine, if it wasn't for the 3 week or so wait after release before they shipped them I'd be fine with it all.

Hmm, I live in Canada too and I don't usually get customs. The only charge I got was recently when I brought in Brook, I was charged $21 for Brook in customs, his initial price was 7,500 and declared as such (from HLJ). It's probably something to do with the declared value as you said, but I didn't get a receipt either. Just had to pay

I rarely have in the past and usually only on $200+ but this is the 2nd customs this week on lower declared packages. Its the handling fee that drives me crazy it keeps going up, I think the last was $8.50 or more handling fee. I remember when it was $5. I don't mind paying regular taxes technically you should on all imported items but ridiculous fees are where it hurts.

Anyone know the going rate on GLM vol 12 3-set? Aikoudo finally said that they can either ship or fully refund them. But since it's been like 8 months since release I'm guessing their price has gone down, so I wanna know how much they are actually worth these days.

The set should be around 6000Yen. Zoro is the most expensive one of them of course.

Thanks. Decided just to keep the order. Saves me money on Chopper GLM this month lol. Also they gave me 1000 Aikoudo points for the hassle, nothing amazing but its something. Can at least use it against WCF sets and stuff.

Very bad experience with them, i preordered an item on saturday and they didn't send to me the payment request. Today instead the payment request, they send to me the cancellation because i didn't pay and the item is sold out.
Thay made it on purpose so they can sell it on an higher price now, not professional. If they don't restore my previous order, never more with such a not professional shop.

I saved up 7 items over a month and a half on HLJ private warehouse, just shipped all 7 for $25 SAL mail. I really like the whole warehouse deal they have. Theres no way even if I had those 7 in 3 shipments that it would be less then $25 total. Its going to be one awesome package.

it happened to me too, i wanted the shinonono houki beach queen and i clicked preorder, but the item was already released i should have paid directly and they canceled my order.if it's a released item and you picked preorder then yeah they will cancel it's normal, they don't cancel items just like that, this is what i think from my past experience with them!

It is not so understable this rule. If, instead of canceling, they sent to me the payment request in few minutes i would have paid. Anyway i'm not the only that had this item canceles, many others for many other reasons have this saint cloth myth canceled…and this people paid for it...

well i can't really tell about this rule, usually when you have an item in stock and choose payment with paypal they would have sent the payment mail but if you choose the preorder on a stocked item this explain why.
i dunno about the myth cloth cancel though, so i can't really tell about that sorry :/ -
Is the new WCF extra limited or something this month? I've noticed the commons are sold out most places and even Aikoudo have put the 4-pack up for nearly 4000 yen as opposed to the 2000 yen max they usually do.

I preordered it 2 days before the release date on the site. There's a rule, if you preorder an item three weeks before the release you have to pay it. I make a little confusion in that moment, i was in hurry because i was afraid to lose it. I clicked on "preorder" and then i couldn't go back.

I think HLJ have all of their stock in. I noticed they never got any extra Brook, Perhona or Hancock in the end (they were on order stop for months) and everyone else was released. I really don't understand why this set has been such a bother compared to the previous ones. I guess it's 3 main chars and two popular side chars. Thats more than a lot of previous sets. Kinda makes me wonder how easy the Z sets will be….

I been getting the common pre-orders from BIJ easy enough but I am worried about getting the Z Nami. Just have to watch HLJ or if 1UP can get some singles. Ive been lucky that alot of the ones I want are commons that BIJ list individually.

It's not even worth buying figures anymore if I'm gonne be charged extra for every single one (hilarious that none of my POPs have been captured by customs since last year however all of the small sets and card sets etc have.)

consider yourself lucky. I think everyone should calculate an import with customs if their country requires it. Think of the times you hadn't pay for it as where you saved money.

well sometimes it aint so bad. Its still cheaper than buying from over here anyways. even less so when it's a set and the extra amount fares to £1-£2 more. It's when you pay £22 for a figure and get a £13 customs charge on it that peeves me.

There arn't any side costs, their shipping costs are the same basically. Their all Japanese stores.
HLJ hs a system where if you pick private warehouse instead of ship now you can have them hold items for up to 2 months. This allows you to easily combine items over time and save on shipping. You simply pay the item cost when you place the order, then you pay the shipping when you choose to ship.
Amiami is the largest site and generally has the cheapest prices.
Hobbysearch has a great point system where when you buy an item you get x amount of points to use on your next order. For example 90 points equals 90 yen.
Amiami also has points but it takes longer for them to add to your account and they generally give 50% less what HS does.
There is also BIJ, http://biginjap.com/, their great for prize figures and have great prices in general.
You really should just check out each site and decide which you like the best. I use all of them but I like Hobby Search the best. Just a nice website layout, great customer service, etc.
