Yeah Alter quality control is the best out there. Megahouse have some disappointed QC even on the expensive POP figures.
My friends have unbelievable paint blotches and scratches on his POP Enel, and I have them on POP Sailing Again Zoro. Have to sell him and decided not to order any POP again.

Banpresto quality is down but you can accept it since it's a prize item.
Alter has this laid back, subtle style that suits me while GSC sometimes is over the top, and has very ambitious sculpting. Compare the GSC Saber-bike and Alter Suzuha-bike and we'll see the different styles.

It's nice that Alter has decided to sculpt more male figures in ALTAIR line. I'm looking forward to their next Durarara!!! figures. Have ordered all three in a week. :)

Yup, I bought it when it was on sale at HLJ for 4400y. I kind of regret not getting two, the price is epic right now. It really is a glorious figure. But I don't think they will be re-releasing it unless they release other natsume figures. The anime stopped its broadcast too, unless there is a season 5, but the manga isn't out enough for them to create a season 5.
You can always buy Banpresto's natsume kuji! They are actually pretty nice. I have this http://myfigurecollection.net/item/115137 on its way to me, and it cost 2,800y!

Is Altair going to release new Durarara figures? The two kids?
After I got Shizuo I really feel like ordering Izaya just to pair them up, although I didn't like him in the anime.

Not true, I really liked this K-On! setup. I've kept these for quite a while now. It's not like I have much of a choice though, which is a huge pity.

Hmm I have Goodsmile Akemi Homura which I'm in love with, and Max Factory/Goodmsile Samus Aran, and then assorted petit nendoiroids and nendoroids.
GSC does have QC issues but not too bad, and they are really good with follow up on those issues. For what it's worth I think GSC and MF are amazing.

I definitely agree with you on A&A, Perfection. I have the Panty and Stocking 1/8 Stocking coming in + Durarara!!'s Orihara Izaya. Very excited for these. I'm also picking up the Panty when I get around to it (I prefer the Stocking)

Man, you know I'm with you. I love Banpresto, and I know you like them as well. They're f***ing excellent. They've made so many figures that I've wanted for time, I can say no wrong against them they rock :D

I'm just saying quality wise they are trumped by Alter/Altair, GSC, Max Factory etc, but I still think they're really good. I constantly buy their stuff and will continue to do so

I bought the new BRS Figma its pretty badass, haven't opened her up. Thats a cool pic Roro.

The Nendo line are not my style in general, I like more realistic looking figures. I have seen some pretty cute Nendos that have tempted me but I keep thinking forget it, last thing I need to do is start buying a new line. I already buy too much.

To Keith, those figs are pretty cool/cute I like the jumping cat ears girl. I can't seem to part with any of my figures, I looked at the collection thinking if there was anything I could sell and I came out empty. If they ever do a figure horder show I would be a good candidate.

Haha I've got extras for this one, so I'll be keeping the one for myself. And like I mentioned previously, it's got nothing to do with losing love for any particular figures. Every penny I shell out has to be worth it, but as a different kind of collector, there are some things I can do, and some things I can't. Perhaps that's the difference between drawing a pay and an allowance.

He is great looking, I like how you can holster his pistol and I'm guessing the same for his knife. They could have blended his knee joints better but I guess they need alot of clearance to fully bend the knee and whatnot.

I'm really on the fence with her. I too hate her huge breasts. They just look stupid. Also her ears looked a bit weird where they join to her hair. Though I haven't really looked at the colour versions of her that much so it might look ok now. Neat that the lantern can be put on.

I agree. They should not be that pushed up, since she's not wearing a bra. It's so inaccurate and distasteful, like the recent H.O.O.K's. The male equivalent would be a big bulge in their pants. I wonder if guys would complain about that?

! Yeah she has big ones, but these just hit balloon status. If they were smaller I'd like it a lot more. Though from the front in that first pic it doesn't look so bad.
