Anyone on the strawhat crew beat Luffy in a one on one fight? (Frowned upon question, I know, but I asked it anyway.) I've thought about this a few times and the closest member I can see having a chance is Zoro, because unlke Sanji (at this time anyway) he has ranged attacks that cut.

That the One Piece is just one piece of a huge piece of treasure and Luffy has to go to other planets to find the other 99 piecesI just see that the story will end. We will certainly have discovered the Void Century. That's the least I can think of.

I somehow can't picture Luffy living a normal life. I'm with the people who think that he will die shortly after achieving everything he dreamed of.
Tho I can see Zoro becoming a teacher in his old dojo and Sanji opening his own high class restaurant located at the all blue location.
Franky and Robin could lead a life like Rayleigh and Shakey, maybe on Water 7 which now became a gigantic ship like the Thriller Bark. -
Luffy will most probably die at the end of the series, like many other people I can't imagine what he would do otherwise. Also, Ivankov shortening his life in Impel Down was strongly hinting at this, Luffy won't grow old
Usopp will return home shortly to join Kaya and his former pirate crew, but I imagine Usopp will have something to do with the giants at Elbaf when they get there =) He'll have so many good TRUE stories to tell hahaha =D
I believe Chopper will make medical research for some organization.
Robin is the only Strawhat that I could imagine working for a newly formed government if it comes to it. She's probably learned so much from Dragon, and she'll know how to handle the true history.
I imagine Franky replacing Vegapunk.
Nami will have to keep sailing to finish her world map, I'm not sure with who though. However, if Luffy ever makes it back to FI to fulfill the prophecy, maybe the Strawhats will take the tour twice and enough.
Brook could play at Sanji's bar/restaurant.
Zoro'll be teaching Santoryu in WanoI'm really not looking forward to the end though :O

Luffy i see dying shortly after. The only difference is when people ask for his treasure he'll say "no way!".
Zoro simply wandering around as the baddest mofo around… drinking.
Sanji would probably follow nami, personal chef style.
Franky and robin i'm suspecting will stay fairly close together (hinthint)
chopper traveling and fixing people up.
Ussopp seems like the only one to go back home (so far) since he does have kaya waiting for him, in contrast to yassopp who never came back.
Brooke will have a musical tea shop where the waiters fight off pirates? he seems immortal unless literally killed, so he's a hard one.
Sunny will roam the oceans on a quest to find another ship with a spirit in it as a mate. -
I think that after the Strawhats finds One Piece and find out bout the Void Century they will end up on the Red Line itself, give the Sunny some wheels, and go on another adventure to take down the WG effectively creating another series for us to enjoy

- Robin I see having a daughter and traveling with her. Possibly with a government job from Dragon.
- Franky I see being like Tom, having apprentices to pass down his skills.
- Brook stays at the twin capes with Laboon to welcome anyone who enters the Grand Line with a concert.
- Jinbe becomes the strongest man in New Fishman Island on the surface of the sea, and is in charge of training both the knights and the fishman karate dojo so that they're as strong on land as they are on the sea. I could also see him working for Dragon just like Robin.

It'd be cool to have another female character. I myself have considered Bonney an interesting possibility if the character is actually developed and interacts with the Straw Hats. But by no means is it necessary especially if you want it to happen just for the sake of a crew member being female.
When you want a crew member just because the character is female and not because of any other demonstration of that character being interesting or useful, then you run into that danger of coming off as simply wanting more fan service.

Vivi counts as a former female member so they have had 3 females and others have said the gender recruitment goes boy,girl,boy,boy,girl so i see a female joining after Jinbe also i hope she is logia because we don't have a devil fruit of that type on the crew.

I think One Piece is getting to a point where the crew can have someone join who is a logia and not seem overpowered. I think the new world is going to show how meaningless being a logia can be.

Btw eveybody said that Luffy will die in the end. His dream is to be most free man in the world, so SH will probably travel back and forth for 5 - 10 years more after end of the series.

See when you say the words "female" and "crew" together in the same sentence,people get hetero-phobic and start accusing the the person who made the comment with a bunch of wild accusations. I for one would love a new female character in the crew because, every time a female character "joins" or I should say in the process of truly joining ,we are introduced to something completely new and game changing in the One Piece world.
Nami- introduction to fish-men, foreshadowing to Jimbe, introduction to Fishman karate, Foreshadowing to Fishman island (if memory serves).
Robin- The Government's cruelty, the void century, a "D" family member, and The six powers which foreshadows "Sky walk/Blue Walk".

I would like to see Bonney join the Stawhats she does seem to be a really interesting character and i defenetely want to know what happened after she was captured by Akainu and what she is currently doing.

On the other side we have Robin, who nearly covers everything Nami doesn't. She is thoughtful, "classy" and has a sense of honor (she would never show her boobs for cash or whatever). For that reason I can't see Monet joining, because she seems just as collected and "cold"
I think out of all female characters who got nominated so far, the one who would fit most is Perona. Even if people find her annoying, she is completely different from Nami and Robin. Now she won't ever join, but a new female member needs to be "unique", without disrupting anything.
At least that's how I see it.

Frankly, when I think of Bonney usually my favorite theory about her is that she's actually a younger girl who obtained the Age Age fruit or whatever it is called later and used it to escape whatever lifestyle she was a prisoner in to become a pirate and have adventures.
But yea, I agree we need a different type of female character. Someone more silly and childish like Luffy/Usopp/Chopper/Brook.

Yeah I believe the WG uses her to reintroduce Vegapunk(also from the Void century) into the world so like when he turns like 90 they would have Bonney make him a toddler then reintroduce him under a different name in a different town/village/city/island

The 2 dynamic relationship within the female characters you proposed was insightful. Definitely a strong possible characteristic for the third female nakama, if it will be a she. And between the two (immature young girl or sarcastic granny) I would think that the latter would be the better option as we really don't have that personality in SH. And granny is really the lacking figure within the dynamic group. We have the nuclear family covered. Grandpa within Brook and relative w/i Jinbei. Jinbei I suppose could play the sarcastic card as we really don't have much of a clue as to his personal character sans his chauvinism and honor.
Although, I'd be pretty disappointed if the char design were to look like Kureha or Tsuru. I'm loving me some cool and energetic looking member. Brook works as an SH member and grandpa figure because he is a freaking skeleton with lame bone jokes. If it were to follow the hecate sister trend and the option were the chars introduced before New World, Bonney would be a good fit. Due to her being able to change her appearance, it really obscures her actual age. Some proposed that she is really young, and other say otherwise. I think judging from her action with the drama covering Zoro's recklessness with the Tenryuubitto, she IMO is an older lady. Her personality could be developed into the sarcastic type, as of now we don't know what her personality is. Heck, she could even be the young type and the dynamic within the female chars would then be the three face of eve too.
It'll also be interesting as Luffy will have eating competition with her. Sanji will have to constantly cook for her while constantly trying to impress with his food. Zoro x Bonney I could already see. Brook and Bonney (if she really was way older) sharing wise thoughts, telling experiences, having respect for each other while, time to time, nagging to see her panties. Ussop,time to time, would be outlied. and Chopper would sometimes have a buddy of the same age, or a Nanny that will tell tales of wisdom. Everyone would be absolutely charmed or annoyed by her sarcasm. As far as SH role goes, she might be the spy/scout type because of her ability to change her appearance. This ability was what I wanted out of Bon Clay (we now know he's not joining us).
On the flipside, I don't know the upside for her ability. Obviously against boss-like crew she can't just down/up-age her opponents cause it'll be too deus-ex-machina. Plus, as of current, there really isn't anything that will make her leave her crew. Also, we have yet to know if she has a dream to fulfill or not. And it also seemed she has too much alpha dog quality to be with Nami or Luffy. And she isn't a Logia, I'd really love to have a Logia in the crew. Like someone said, I think there isn't a clear advantage anymore possessing a Logia ability in the New World. Maybe this Logia ability would be picked out by someone in the crew already in the near future, so my point of Bonney not a Logia type would be moot. (I actually cringe at the thought of a non-df crew member getting a df power).
All in all, I'm not oppose for Bonney to be a part of SH as I can see her fitting quite well with the dynamic of the group.

And it also seemed she has too much alpha dog quality to be with Nami or Luffy. And she isn't a Logia, I'd really love to have a Logia in the crew. Like someone said, I think there isn't a clear advantage anymore possessing a Logia ability in the New World. Maybe this Logia ability would be picked out by someone in the crew already in the near future, so my point of Bonney not a Logia type would be moot. (I actually cringe at the thought of a non-df crew member getting a df power).
All in all, I'm not oppose for Bonney to be a part of SH as I can see her fitting quite well with the dynamic of the group.

I was thinking about this. It's pretty well known but all of Luffy's haki imbued moves so far have been named after animals (e.g. Elephant Gun, Red Hawk), does anyone have any predictions for names of future moves like this? I'm sure he has more hidden in his arsenal

I remember someone who predicted that his haki imbued attacks will be named after firearms with animals in the name. That person listed a lot, but the only one I remember from the top of my head is Desert Eagle.

Desert Eagle… that is highly likely. The Desert Eagle is one of the most powerful handguns/pistols in the world, so maybe the final variation of Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Pistol will be called Gomu Gomu no Desert Eagle
