I also recieved my Arlong FAZ and his defualt arm has a pretty obvious defect. I could see it before I opened the damn fig, I'm thinking I'll try painting it. I have experience with mixing paint so we shall see. Aside from that Arlong is badass. Heres a pic of the defect.

Its not a hole, its like it was gouged with a knife. Perhaps the core is black and the outer layer is the figure colouring. Something weird like that. I think paint would do the trick, thanks for the advice though.

I need a little expert advice from everyone:
Next month my paycheck is gonna be a little higher than usual, so I thought it'd be a chance to hunt my all time wanted figure/doll, Dollfie Dream Yoko. But I can't really just dish out the fortune that she'll cost me, so I was thinking of selling part of my collection to compensate a little.
Since I'm definitely getting the full P.O.P. SA StrawHats collection I'm thinking of letting go of most, if not all, of my P.O.P. Strong World collection. My question is… is this a good enough time to think of selling them? If I'm letting them go I just want to be sure that I'm at least not doing it at a time when they're undervalued, with no regrets.

I'd definately not suggest selling them now. Out of my experience, the market is flooded with them and sadly no one really wants them. I'm selling mine too, but I guess I might just keep them for the time being. I mean, they're too awesome to sell for half of what I initially paid for them. Better keep them. Maybe you got some other figures to sell?
Oh and btw .. kudos to you for planning to buy that dollfie dream yoko .. man she's definately expensive! XD For me that gorgeous Real Image Yoko by Max Factory would already be enough .. T_T but oh no … none to buy .. haaa~
The problem with the SW is that they struggled to sell Sanji, Zoro 2, Nami 2, franky and Brook. And re-issued Nami and Robin who were difficult to get. The only one I ever see going for decent prices is Chopper ver 2 and that's usually about £10 more than retail.
Still, it doesn't really matter which strawhat you chose .. all of them are rather cheap nowadays. Just take a look at MFC .. so many SW on sale. So the prices go down. And with all the SA POPs released or announced .. SW just isn't needed anymore for most fans. Even though I still find them so much better than SA .. but sadly my opinion doesn't influence market prices .. I wish it would though. XD

Wow, guess I was right in predicting the sales volume would drop dramatically after all the hype from the movie died down. Really glad I sold them earlier. But I do agree, the sculpts on the SW seem better than the ones we're getting from the SA figures. I guess the way these figures sell goes with the flow of the anime/manga. Nobody seems all that interested in getting the Neos either since MH is rolling out the SA.

I'd wait to sell the SW POPs too. At the moment they're very reasonable in price. Basically if you got it from a store, you'd lose your shipping costs but for the most part you can get back your retail cost. I like them myself so going to try to keep them.

haha, what did I say, i knew MH would give us a Sanji re-release in November. Oh well, I guess this officially means no POP's (except bling-bling Robin) for october. Better see now whether H-S will let me cancel…......oh dear.....

If I take the SW collection out of the equation I could only let go of stuff like NEO Shanks, White Bikini Hancock, NEO Nami, Aokiji. And I would be lucky to get 250€ from those. And unless I reach half the cost of the Dollfie by sacrificing some figures (bring me the sacrificial knife!) I can't fanthom buying her. If I don't give something up in exchange and just spend all my money on the dollfie I fear the populace with pick up torches and burn me on a pole at the plaza. xD

Well I don't think bikini Hancock sells for much, Neo Shanks would be ok and Aokiji too, but only if it's the version with coat .. the other one is like … worthless. T_T Your best bet would probably be Neo Nami .. if it's the 1st version ... Hmm~ I seriously get the feeling that POPs don't sell that well these days .. I even saw a Neo Zoro for 8000yen at Mandarake today. That's like .. totally cheap! In the end, I'd suggest you save up a bit more money and get your Yoko dollfie a bit later. :) And I know how you feel .. I wanted to sell nearly all my POPs to buy other figures which aren't from One Piece .. and I should have sold all my SW POPs to be able to justify my recent purchase of my dear Hattori Kiriko .. but I didn't. ^^'' In the end .. It depends a lot on what dollfie we're talking about. Yoko originally went for about 730 USD (~=600 EURO) back then. Now it's hard to find one near mint or sealed for less than 1000 EURO. I know where to find one near mint by about 900 EURO, excluding shipping.

I can relate, I can reaaaally relate. I've just got confirmation from a legit seller than I might be able to get this dollfie, used in decent condition for a…. "reasonable" price. I might just end up the same: F*** it, now I'm broke! :'D
It's unfortunate, but if the deal goes through I'll be forced to sell some of my figures for sure. And I'd need to sell at least two or three this month, sure sounds risky... I'll try to hang on to the SW collection as you guys said though.

Those Half Age sets, are they going down in quality or is it just me...? I had one Naruto and still got a Blue Exorcist Half Age which look pretty neat. But when I took a personal look at a One piece set (had Caimie in my hands) they looked bad enough for me to ignore them. Specially the eyes...
And I don't mean the prototype pictures, those always look great... I mean the final product.
Crap, I kinda wanted that Bonney, but Boa and Nami's poses are overdoing it a bit. :[
^ I feel like originally the half ages (naruto) had pretty decent poses and sculpts, enough to ignore the bad quality a bit. But the latest OP set is just tasteless, and the sculpts are bad to boot.
I actually like the semi-chibi style the half age figures have. But they're pretty ridiculous now and yeah.. ooey gooey animuuu

Robin and Bonney look fine for me in the new set. But Nami and Hancock's poses are eh. Not to metion that this is the 3rd Hancock figure in the line. Guess someone at bandai finally twigged that the girls are what sell..

Is the SA Chopper POP worth buying if I have the Figuarts Zero? According to HS he's 4" tall and is the exact same pose, etc. as the FAZ. I'm not a big Chop fan but for $25 from HLJ why not? I know the quality would be better and all, just can't decide if I should spend $25 for a slightly bigger Chop.
I guess it depends if you want the POP crew or not. I have both, but only bought the POP because I want the whole crew.
You think he'd atleast have a switch out face or something, it doesn't appear that the POP has anything more to offer from the FAZ aside from scale/quality.
I'm not buying the whole crew in POP but it may be fun to pose him with Nami or Robin. shrugs
