So BF again found not was he was looking for but Naruto295. grrr.
Well the fight is still fun though.

one chapter for one fireball. i really don't like kishimoto's pace.
Yeah well he's been like that the whole time skip thing. Apparentyl he likes the Naruto anime fillers so his manga pace just demands more and more. bstrd.
And the filler is degrading. Well it was fun while it lasted but now it's time for stupidity again. :(
Yeah well he's been like that the whole time skip thing.
it started with naruto vs sasuke imo. well, i've never read the manga before the sasuke rescue mission so i don't know the paces of fights like the fianl stage of the chuunin exam. but even in the anime, the fight between oro and the third last too much, i just don't even want to think how it was managed in the manga.
Good lord, the new chapter had me laughing like a madman.
FAT Kyuubi Naruto and Oro stuck upside down in the ground…BWAHAHAHA!
Oro bad-ass yo, with that ten-mile sword.
LOL! Best title page in months (its just "ok", but the title pages are so bland lately that this easily tops em all).
The Fights usually last a long time in Naruto. I think Naruto will try to attack Yamato and Sakura and Yammy will shut him down.
Than Naruto would be out the pictured for a second.
I'm looking forward to seeing this all animated, but really, Orochimaru is the only thing keeping me going any more. I don't know why, but I always really liked him. Mostly 'cause of the stuff he does, since his character hasn't changed much at all. The kind of stuff he's been pulling the past few chapters has been at least fun to watch. Reconnecting his body with snakes and basically vomitting himself up.. priceless.
And when I saw the end of 294, I couldn't help but think of my old Pokemon days.. "Naruto is taking in sunlight!" or whatever the text was for Hyper Beam, since I can only remember Solar Beam. Gives me a chuckle.
naruto has been bad lately, between the horrible fillers and below average manga,I cant really say im a fan anymore.
but as for the recent chapters, I like knowing what the characters are capable of, Idk why, I just dont like fights where oro spits out a 30 foot sword
or continually throwing himself up. Its the reason I dont like dbz, and the reason naruto is losing favor with me.
Solar Beam had the taking in sunlight. Hyper Beam shot first, then the Pokemon needed to recharge.
This damn fight between Kyuubi Naruto and Orochimaru has gotten boring already. I want something to happen.
The cool thing now would be Naruto calming down from the kyubiness ,taking a deep breath , smile and then surprise everybody wiht some new jutsu ( and no not a kickass just normally good one  )
But Kishi will keep this thing going on and on for a few more chapters i bet. I'll keep my figers crossed for something interesting though. Hell even miracles happen.
Going by just descriptions of battle (Chiyo & Sakura v. Sasori), one would expect Naruto to be in the highlight of its series. I mean, Naruto v. Orochimaru? There shouldn't be a way for Kishimoto to fudge that up.
But he did. I mean, OP's battle hasn't even started and it's already cooler/more interesting than this crack. Bleaugh; why can't Naruto maintain what it had in the Chuunin Exam/Rasengan Arc? ~.~;
MT it's because Kishis hates Naruto. There is not other explanation for all of this.

sigh I don't know anymore. Maybe Kishimoto has gotten completely disillusioned about the whole thing. Or maybe his editors are prime evil. Either way, it's not good for the series.
And I'm getting tired of Orochimaru's dues ex machina revival powers. Yes I know snakes are symbolic of rebirth and regeneration, but this is going too far. Itachi is supposed to be one of the deadliest characters in the series, but at least he doesn't have lame-o revival powers. He kills you before you scratch him.
Another thing occured to me about what's wrong with the post-time jump. What happened to Naruto's dream of becoming Hokage? It's like he got so obsessed with Sasuke that he forgot all of his personal goals. At this rate he's gonna end up dead before he can become Hokage. It's that dream that propelled the series in the first place, what happened to it!?
I think Naruto's ambition has gone the same route as Kishimoto's ambition for the series.
(ooh, that was good.)
Perhaps Kishimoto is bored with Naruto. This entire Naruto v. Orochimaru battle seems utterly unnecessary, much like Naruto's four tailed transformation. Wow, he can get mad; what an original character flaw. This isn't manga; it's fanservice, and not very tasty fanservice at that.
I know Rumiko Takahashi also tends to get bored with her manga after a long serialization; Ranma 1/2 was going really well until Takahashi just stopped trying. She gave Ranma a silly, almost apathetically done ending and preceeded to start on Inu-Yasha, which didn't last as long in quality before it started to suck.
Take where I am reading in the manga now. Inu-Yasha gets the ability to break any demonic barriers. So what does Naraku do? That's right, he finds a way to make barriers unbreakable again. It's totally tight, aye?
That is the problem with most of her series. They just go TOO LONG and thus lose all the spark they had. I loved Inu-Yasha when I first started reading, now it's like: END IT ALREADY. Let the characters rest in peace, sheesh.
although I liked Ranma 1/2's ending . . . . . .
The anime or manga?
If the manga…
! How so? I have not read everything, but it looks like Ranma was finally cured of his condition, and some characters hooked up (Soun-Ranma's teacher?, Shampoo-Mousse, Ryoga-Pig Girl), but I am not sure if anything became of Kodachi or Uuchan. I also seem to remember Ranma being very cruel to Uuchan a while back, where he was willing to give up his friendship with her rather than marry her? What?
! What was dissatisfactory was Ranma's ending. Like Naru's constant pummeling of Keitaro in Love Hina, Ranma and Akane's fights got old after the first twenty volumes, so their indecisiveness was just annoying at the end. Furthermore, they're just sitting on that bench; there's no real closure behind Ranma/Akane's future, unlike the minor characters. It's like Shaman King; I invest a ton of time/energy/money into the series, and I get an ambiguous ending? I wasn't looking for an ambiguous ending in Shaman King or Ranma 1/2; I was looking for closure! 'tis bad enough Pokemon didn't end at the Indigo Saga, or Dragonball at the Frieza saga.
Man, it's gotten really bad. Now everytime I read a chapter it seems as though nothing has happened. Yet, the narutards talk about each chapter as if it's the greatest thing in the world… O_O; I wonder if in 4 or 5 years (if OP is still even going), if OP started to go downhill, we'd be just like the Narutards? I dunno.. I just want the stupid manga to get a move on! The whole Orochi/Kabuto thing is almost pointless!
BTW, how many more episodes until the fillers are over? I havn't watched in a long time, because the fillers are horrible (at least, they were when I left off)
@Forbidden:
O_O; I wonder if OP started to suck (which I doubt) we'd act the same?
Narutards are called "Narutards" for a reason; they're young and or total idiots. We're considerably more mature and less subjective to hindsight or personal bias; if OP starts to wane, we complain and moan. Heck, we do that even for GOOD chapters; remember when Califa and Kaku got their Devil Fruits? The spoiler topic was full of complaints!
OP will suck the day Oda stops enjoying his manga; afterall, Oda himself is OP's truely biggest fan. He's enthusiastic enough to actually get far ahead of his Jump schedule, and yet capable enough to work on fanletters, colour spreads, the logs AND promotional artwork! Did I mention he's actually like four chapters ahead of Jump, now? Woah!

LOL. I have no doubt in Oda. ^_~ Anyways, I'm sure if Oda every got remotly bored of OP, he would give it a good ending before letting it go to the dogs.
I have total faith in Oda, because he has displayed a genuine passion for his manga. And everytime he does something I don't like, he does it in a way that I end up liking it. And, he almost always does something completely different from the retarded fan predictions. You can't really say that about Naruto… a fanfic writer could write Naruto and things would play out similarly, except with a lot more Sasuke masturbation or something.
Another thing that helps is Oda usually wraps up fights in 2-3 chapters, instead of Naruto's like.... 10 or 20 or so.
There's also a considerable amount more dialogue in Oda's battles, too. I remember Toriyama was put in hot water for making "easy" chapters for DBZ, in which characters didn't talk through a whole chapter and there was just fighting. Kishimoto's current arc is in much the same way, though whenever there's dialogue, it's "Naruto's powerful", or "I might die". Nothing like Crocodile explaining his attacks on Toto, or Eneru realizing he's utterly fudged up against a rubberman.
Yeah, it's funny. There's a lot more dialogue in Oda's fights, but then end up being much shorter than Naruto's or even Bleach's..
Too me its either Kishi's boared with Naruto like MT suggested or he's painted himself into a corner and dose'nt know where to go next. So he just threw in a random battle to show off how powerful and freaky Oro is since he got his new body.
Well there's no argument whatsoever that Oda is a superior manga-ka to Kishimoto. That was obvious even when Naruto was good.
It's probably because he used to be the assistant for Nobuhiro Watsuki, the manga-ka of Rurouni Kenshin (another excellent shonen series). Then again the manga-ka for Shaman King was also one of his assistants and he didn't turn out quite so well . . . . .
Either way, combine Oda's natural genius with teachings from Watsuki-sensei and you get shonen gold. I wonder who Kishimoto was assistant to, if anybody?

Er, that doesn't quite sound like the manga ending I know:
! From what I remember after fighting some really tough villains Ranma and Akane finally admit that they love each other. However Ranma was never cured of his curse, he just grew to accept it as a part of him. Fast forward a few days and Ranma wakes up in a tuxedo, as Genma and Soun Tendo put together a wedding for him and Akane. The other rivals at first seem sad but resigned to the expected outcome. (and Ryouga does apparently get with the pig-girl) As a present the Jusenkyo guide sent a barrel full of Drowned Man Spring water, but Ranma never gets it. Before the wedding can begin all the rivals come blasting in (literally!) to try and break it up, and Happosai ends up drinking the barrel thinking it's sake. So after the chaos dies down Genma and Soun tell Ranma and Akane that their wedding is postponed until they can settle all their affairs. They agree. So the manga ends with them running off to school (side by side rather than apart) with the words "Ranma and Akane are not married . . . . . .yet."
Oda was a great manga-ka of his own volition; even Watasuki fouled up in the "Revenge Arc", which many consider Kenshin's peak though I see it as a fine example of Kenshin "jumping the shark".
Satsuki,
! Did you read Viz's translations? They might have omitted a chapter; I'm not sure, but the last volume sold by Viz has a picture of Ranma/Akane in a tux/gown on the front, and I frequently read the last bits of it because I can't fudging believe that what I am reading is the end. What you told me seems logical-ish, and I've heard of the crazy Jusenkyo manager sending Ranma Drowned-Man water, but the ending in this volume is much different; Akane inherits this weird armour with a yin-yan on the front that seems to trigger when she's angry; she and Ranma get into a fight. Ranma pushes the yin-yan on the front of the armour and it disappears; they both land on a bench wet with paint. Ranma is cradling Akane, then they exchange some words. At the bottom, there's a small note by Takahashi: "Ranma 1/2-End".
! Either way, though; both this ending and what you told me suck. :(
. . . . . if I recall correctly the volume with Ranma and Akane in a tux\gown on the cover WAS MOST DEFINITELY NOT THE ENDING. I'm sure Viz kept going after that. And are you sure it didn't just mean "end of this volume."?
Yeah, that was the end. All other volumes have "To be continued" on the last page of manga.
. . . . . what number was that volume? Cause the last volume in the Japanese tanko is like 37 or something.
I'll check tomorrow when I go to Border's. Looking at Ranma 1/2 Perfect (Furinkan.com), the tux/gown is the cover of Volume 38. However, I know Viz had a bad habit of changing the volume artwork, so this is disputed until I can confirm what I saw.
I feel the same way….Kishimoto has the ability to create any Jutsu he wants for any character. Example: unlike OP, where a DF has limited uses, any character in Naruto could use the "I can conjure X out of thin air" jutsu without any explanation needed. Up till now the jutsu's have had weaknesses (water prison), been illusions, or involved creating clones of a an element, and then trading places with them - the users body remeained flesh.
But the Way Oro is acting now, he seems like a Logia.
Perhaps Oro's "invincibility" is the idea of the "strongest" in the world of Naruto.
Sadly, it will easily be countered with an "X no jutsu" that would, say, prevent any form of regeneration. Maybe the casting of the jutsu will have the price of … self-sacrifice, which will probably cause more angst and whatnot -_-
Bah, at least in One Piece we know that Enel has his weaknesses, even against other fighters aside from Luffy.
It seems the Narutofan forums are busted. So here's 296 fresh off the scanner.
You da man, BF.
Ee, can't say that anything much happened, side from some Mokuton Jutsu.. What's Sai up to anyway?
Ahh, thankee. Looks like another week of Naruto jeering. What has Kishimoto fouled up this week?
God dang it! I hate being proved right, but we've once again accomplished nothing with this stupid fanservice Kishimoto calls a "fight".
! Sakura stupidly has nostalgia and tries to "reach" Naruto, so she gets tail-whipped like the whiner she always was. Orochi falls down, but he's obviouosly still alive and very powerful; Yamato takes it into his own hands to retrain and un-Kyuubify Naruto, and it looks likes everyone is going to bid each other "g'day" and leave for another time.
! WHAT A WASTE OF MY LIFE.
gah yeah…I cannot see this going very anywhere really <_<
Oh, that sucks! It's just like the Sannin fight, which ended so abruptly with everyone graciously parting ways.
Damn Kishimoto! I want some sort of freakin' conclusion to these fights.
Hee hee, I can see this pattern being repeated, but with each repetition the Kyuubi's tail increases by 1. Viva forever!:yatta:

Except one Sasuke gets reintroduced, he'll sometimes fill in for Sakura. And should Naruto get into a romantic relationship with someone else like say Hinita then they'll do it sometimes to.
By the way did we ever find out what the hell Sai's mission was?
Wow, it looks like Naruto is over huh?
Hmm, people dont seem to look at the chapter correctly. They just jump to conclusions. Yamato binded Kabuto. Sai mission was to contact Oro. He wants to talk to him about something, He is danzo's message boy.
Something did happend this chapter, did u even read the translation?
yawns like Shika on the cover It was ok. Nothing life changing.

! Oh Em Gee. I was COMPLETELY surprised that Sai would betray the team.
Yea, looks like Shikamaru's got the right idea at this point.

Wow, one of the few characters in the series with bad eyesight goes all out. Luckily he's aligned with a Hidden Sound Village, where's he's likely to turn into Rurouni Kenshin's Usui and develop super-duper hearing.
And use the spoiler tags. However, I do not need such tags to say this chapter sucks.

No. I havn't seen the new chapter yet. Where is the translation?
yawn. i guess i should FF the time for half a year to acutally see a pogress in the story. why do i even bother to check each week.
