That one is pretty damn awesome too.

I don't think I have a fave robin figure. Which is surprising considering the amount i got. Most of them are pretty awesome.

You mean Robin? DPCF face is fine fine. At least it has correct colours which Banpresto's doesn't. Which makes Banpresto's pretty much auto-fail. Not that it's a bad figure. The face just ruins it.

My problem with the DPCF was that they released her and then Chopper a few days after it. Really he shoulda been an accessory instead of a seperate figure.

Speaking of Snap girls. Whatever happened to that line? They dropped it like all of their other good lines? (D, Marines etc)

Cyber, Chopper will never be an accessory. You only need to look at how popular he is in Japan to know that it's virtually impossible. Plus it wouldn't make financial sense to the producers (Plex) either.

I wouldn't give up on the snap girls line yet. You have to remember that Nami and Robin were released not long ago (December 011 iirc) hence we should remain patient and start to doubt a continuation if there's no news by June/July.

Problem is that we already know most of this years lineup. I hope they do some more canon clothes this time. Both of Robin's W7 and TB outfits are demanding proper sized figures

DPCF robin came with 2 heads right? 1 with brown and 1 with blue eyes?
If that the case, Plex's just covering both angles. Both colors are correct imo.

Nope. Both versions were brown. One was just darker than the other.

That 3D one was the only robin I won't get. Due the size, lack of interest in the spread and price. Nowhere to put it.

Especially CP9 Lucci and Jyabura. I think there're only 1-2 ppl upload their pictures on mfc. (1 is trashcat)

I wouldn't say that I hate FZ but recently I've decided to only get certain figures out of the line; if at all. For example I pre-ordered the trio of Smoker, Tashigi and Kuma but then decided to cancel them since- let's be honest- I don't really give a fuck.

I cancelled Smoker too. Wanted him to go with Croc but I was disappointed in them treading old ground with more Ace and Mihawk than bring out new chars. They get too many people's hopes up with awesome chars (Robin, Ryuma, Hiruluk) and then not bother with them.

And I use Windows Movie Maker for mine.

FZ Robin is as likely as her GLL counterpart. Actually no- it's even less likely.
The only FZ figures I plan to get (and that I've already ordered) are Mihawk, Zoro, Ace and the re-release of Chopper (this one I randomly ordered at amiami for some reason) and maybe Jinbe since he doesn't look half-bad.

By the way, here's a video about the complete Chopper cosplay set. Enjoy and maybe like that guy's videos. He apparently puts a lot of effort into making them.

After a looong time I finally got the chance of getting an apartment! Moving ALL this things from my parents' place was really tiring but it was worthty after all! :)

It looks much bigger than expected! Almost my complete anime (mostly OP and DBZ) and videogame collection is there (I guess around 95%), including some DC/Marvel Hot Toys and action figures, MOTU Classics and some extras…

Now... to design a cabinet that will hold all of this!!! :)

Oh, the tuppers in the floor are crowded with gashapons mostly!!

Onepiece ria has lots of pics of the GLCs. You can browse the close up pics there. I don't know how the GLCs are doing in sales in Japan. Maybe someone here has a source for info. As for me, I really like Jyabura, but my problem with them is not just that they are too big, but I just don't like the look on some of them. Hence, I have not gotten any.

Congrats on SDX Ace! I think SDX Ace by far is one of the best OP figures. Ouch on that price on Sage Naruto. I don't blame you for passing on him. That price is just insane.

Needless to say I proceeded to buy it, however, before checking out I just thought i'd better check whether a Bootleg Carue existed and what to look out for. As I was looking I stumbled across this article:

Yeah, it does look almost identical to the real thing. I'm finding it impossibly to see the differences between the real thing and the "bootleg" posted on the blogspot.

That scratch/rip in the top right hand corner seems to be a common theme though, maybe as a ploy to suggest that it did have an authentic sticker, but that it had be torn off? Maybe a new method for bootleggers rather than producing fakes stickers that can be identified as counterfeit.

All seems bloody sneaky to me and makes me very nervous about about buying older POP's all together.

Thanks snow. I love them more than their POP or any GLM. I think they are my fav OP figures at the moment.
They are really fun, you can swap their heads around. But yeah, I dont think they are super popular.
Their price just drop almost as soon as their released. I just hope they got enough support for banpresto to continue the line.

Im pretty sure its a bootleg, in the description the seller doesnt even confirm its an authentic/oficial figure so he wont get in trouble if you activate buyer protection.

Why is my guts feeling telling me that carue is not a bootleg? Its too damn good. I can't tell the difference.
All the lines are really sharp, the body is fully painted. The figure looks sturdy, not leaning forward or anything.
The paint looks correct, shiny on some parts, and matte on the rest of them. All perfect.

I dont know where is onepiece blogspot got those picures, but to my knowledge, that one is just as good as the original.

Maybe because Carue POP sells for 45K-50K Yen these days, bootleg manufactures can afford to spend 10-20K on materials and labour and still make a good profit on the sale. I can see the attraction, but I don't know whether I could stoop to buying bootlegs.

Is it possible they are just some leftovers from the factory? Carue is not really flying out from the shelf when it first released.

Anyway, i just wish they actually tell us what's the difference between that "bootleg" carue with the original.
Did he claimed its bootleg cos there's no sticker on it? But even some of the original don't have sticker.
I remembered some cases even the one from otacute is missing some sticker.

Your "gut feeling" would make you pay a sweet amount for a bootleg if you were to buy the one at eBay. Of course it's hard to distinguish between the real one and the one that's being offered right now but that's the idea behind a really good bootleg; which the one kanji linked obviously is.

To put it simple, kanji - don't buy that Carue figure since it's a bootleg for sure. You may not see any significant differences at the moment but just use common sense. It will save you your cash.
