Yeah the Freeza is pretty cool, I ended up getting the whole set in the end, Goku should be getting shipped right now and I ordered Gohan off Mandarake a few days ago, I just haven't paid for it yet because I'm waiting to see if anything else comes up in the Umeda Mandarake store that I can ship with it

I just FINALLY completed the whole set yesterday. I ordered 2x of the Goku becuase I liked it so much. I may get another Freeza too since it's pretty impressive. I really like the perfect cell actually… he goes well with my Kuji SSJ2 Gohan.

I don't know if you've noticed, but I thought I should mention that the Beach Queens are 16cm. Not that there is anything wrong with 16cm. Yeah Ben, I couldn't agree with you more. The IK SSJ Goku is hands down the best from the set. I'm actually writing a review for him right now. I used to think it was the SSJ3, but the quality cannot match up to the SSJ. Simply amazing. The painting and colouring and detail is wonderful. Especially for a Banpresto Ichiban Kuji prize figure. Sometimes they do some impressive work, this is an example. Really taken aback with him, had to order another.
The freeza is ridiculous too, very well done. The two Ichiban Kuji prizes are definitely the gems from this line. The Freeza is wicked, definite runner up.
The No. 20 Gero is really well done. Great details on him all around, plus his hat is removable so you can see his brain encased in a protective green window:

Thanks a lot Levi ^^, yeah this line is definitely filled with some memories lol. I remember the first time Banpresto had it all under wraps and they had the big countdown clock on the tenkaichi site, towards the end of 2010 lol. It brought a lot of db enthusiasts together I'd like to think :P

Totally agree man, the db scultures is an impressive line and the IK scultures are just superb icing on the cake.
I will definitely collect the OP scultures. I need the Nami from that line to fill the void in my heart that is the Neo Nami for now.
I want the Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Mihawk, Wiper and Jango from that line the most.
Probably won't double up on any of them though, not just yet. Also interested to see who will be Kuji since we can expect those pieces to be extra nice.

I personally own 1 GSC (excluding nendos) and… 5 Alters.
While the quality on Arin (my sole big GSC figure) is great, if I were to compare her with my bishoujos by Alter, she'd lose. Mercedes and Aegis are major figures (imo). I could compare with the boys then. But I really don't see much difference quality-wise.
The only problem I have with GSC is the fact that they only make bishoujos. I like male chars too, yup.
So in the end, I prefer Alter but if Good Smile were to extend their production to male characters as well… Well, let's say it probably would be hard to resist :)

But Elisabeth, the three top characters at my signature are all amazing 1/7 GSC figures (Fate/Stay series).
I don't have a 1/7 Alter figure yet (only have Aegis so far), but I think those trio are on par with Aegis, quality of sculpting and painting wise. :)
I do agree with you if only GSC make male characters, it would be great. That's why I'm quite happy that Alter expands their ALTAIR line (Tales, Durarara! series).
No doubt these two are top companies in figure making.
For above comparison, I'd take Inori over Milla. Dynamic pose FTW! :)

I have all of those too, and I would definitely agree that the Legend of Saiyan Vegeta, hell even the Wild Style Vegeta is better than the SCultures Vegeta. He's very plain, boxy and meh. They could have done better with him, perhaps a fig of him in his original saiyan armor from the first arc.
I agree with your Cell views too, he's meh. He's good but nothing special, I do like him though.

His hair is massive and too thick. His head is a bit too big, and the color is just flat and boring.
Not to mention how shiny his hair is -_-.

EXACTLY, I don't like them all enough to buy figures of them either. The only others ones I will be getting are Madoka Ultimate Ver, and MAYBE Mami. That's it. Sayaka and Kyoko can suck it. Homura is the best though hands down, I love that character she's so good.

I'll admit he looks a bit off, and I don't like the stupid translucent gimmick they got goin' on for his shins and feet, but I like it. I agree the hair is a little big, and I wish he was scaled a bit smaller to accurately represent his size at the time, but yeah. Decent figure for what it's worth. Pretty much all we got at the moment since Banpresto is totally random on the ascended super saiyan levels that they make figures of.
He absolutely DOES NOT compare to Kuji Goku though. Kuji Goku makes Kuji Gohan look like crap. Such a jump in quality, from the paint to the sparks to the sculpt everything is DEAD ON in the Goku, can't say the same for the Gohan.
