I can update the NES games from the ambassador programm and some other games/software as well … anyone knows what the update is for?

The nes games are probably adding savestates which were missing from the original downloads since nintendo had to hurry them out.
You might want to hold off on updating the battery backup games like zelda 1/2 if you've already made progress in those though, unless they make clear that you keep your battery saves.

i hate going up to london sometimes. I took my 3ds with me and got 2 streetpass, both of which gave me access to puzzles i havn't had (starfox and rhythm paradise) but they also had the one purple piece i'm missing from donkey kong. Damn London giving me such a horrible choice :(
Also it appears kid icarus will come bundled with AR cards in europe and NA too

It should only have one baby as well. As much as i liked the multiple baby thing in the 2nd one, the idea just didn't stick with me and some babies like wario and bowser who you only got briefly, so if you miss something with them your buggered, really annoyed me

Seriously doubt this will affect anyone here but apparently Nintendo are doing some sort of One Piece Treasure Hunt in Birmingham and London today/tomorrow. Winners get One Piece T-Shirts.
Kinda nice to see at least one company is trying to promote One Piece in the UK instead of throwing a game out and praying it gets bought.

Is it a overall good port? I've always wanted to play the game and really glad it got ported, but I really want to know if it does the game justice.

Well it's a decent game. I've never seen the PS2 one (I think it was) released before so can't comment on the quality of the port.

I got my copy today and played about two hours of it. I've never played the PS2 version, or any of the other Tales games before it. I don't know how exactly the graphics hold up to the PS2 version, but they look perfectly fine on the 3DS's screen, and the 3DS version apparently fixes some bugs and loading problems that the console version had.
My only real issues with it so far lie in the battle system, but that's just because it's my first time playing with one that's action-combat. I'd say that my overall impressions are favorible.

Sounds like in the UK. Was released in November. Impossible to get until last month when they started putting some more copies out.

I've started looking into battery expansion pack thingamajigs for my 3DS. I've yet to really need the extra battery life, given that my play sessions are usually comparatively short and the sexy thing is always either in my hands, in my pocket, or in its charging dock. But for the long run, I figure it doesn't hurt to do some research and keep an eye on particular brands an models.
One thing I would prefer, though, is that the replacement battery pack still allow you to charge the system in the normal Nintendo-brand charging dock. The only one I've seen so far is this thing by Energizer, but it's a full armor thing as well with slots for storing games, which is a bit more than I really need or want.
Anyone know of any others?

i missed the European one annoyingly. from what i've gathered though fire emblem confirmed for europe for 2012 as well as dlc confirmed. Mario tennis open is coming in may, game gear games next week or week after can't remember and new brain training games
