Okay, some people do care. But its too little to make Toei Listen.
One Piece in Spain RETURNS!
-
-
I always like to remain cautiously optimistic, I mean look how long it took for "One PIece" to come back in Spain.
-
Yeah, I guess you are right.
-
51 new episodes are going to be dubbed in Catalan. 405 + 51= 456 so we'll have Amazon Lily + Impel Down
-
That's good news for the Catalonians.
In Boing channel, the Water 7 arc is giving some good audience. No confirmation but there will be Enies Lobby dubbed for sure. More than 311.000 spectators and 1'6% of share last night.
-
Changed the thread title because when browsing the main board it just reads "One Piece RETURNS!" and that was throwing people off.
-
The dub of the new episodes in Catalan started today.
-
What episode is the Catalan dub at? You know what channel and timeslot?
-
The channel is called ''3XL'' and One Piece starts at 1:15 AM (Monday-Thursday). Initially One Piece started at 9:30 PM but they changed it for Dragon Ball. But the episodes (currently in episode 276, in a second run) can be watched in their website.
There are 405 episodes dubbed in Catalan and now they're going to dub 51 more (so we'll have Amazon Lily + Impel Down).
Here's a pic of the dub of episode 406 that the director Marc Zanni (voice of Zoro) posted in his blog. I added the name of the character they voice.
Also, the voice actor of Mr.2 (he also dubbed Spandam and Gaimon), who was retired, confirmed that he'll voice that character again.

Well, this is …interesting. Here in Spain, "los 40 principales" which means "the top 40", is arguably THE radio station here in Spain, one of the most popular. Anyways, something interesting happened on their website a few days ago. They decided to do a "top 10 anime openings you should definitely listen to". I have no idea which standars they used to choose this 10 openings, but it's obvious they used only anime that's IS or WAS popular in Spain. We have the usual suspects like Dragon Ball or Evangelion, also the most popular ones like Naruto aaaand, you guessed it, One Piece. According to them, One Piece's opening 9, Jungle P, is a must hear, go figure. Still it always brings a smile on my face when I see One Piece on mainstream media like this one...

It's manga related but I post this here since we have this thread.
Planeta DeAgostini is going to release all the Data Books starting from Red in the first half of 2013. They'll be also releasing the next Color Walks (CW 1 has just been released and it sold very well).

Awesome news! It's nice to see One Piece getting more popular here in Spain…

I want to apologize for making this insane necropost for a thread more than 10 years dormant.
But I wanted to make my point clear. Crunchyroll is better off dubbing the actual series than some old movies that arent even canon.
Oh and there are plenty of news from Spain to share as well!
