I wuld've thought the spanish or italian version would have english almost definatley the spanish version. I can't be 100% positive for 3DS but DS games from spain had english options
One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP & SP2 - 3DS

@Vongola_Boss_XI:
So…theoretically in the future should such a solution be made available for 3DS....what about the threat that they can "brick" your system for attempting to mod it? Is that present on the Wii or is that an empty threat? Ideally I'd like to just put some files on my 3DS SD card and get to play OP Unlimited Cruise SP.... but would I not be able to download games from the eshop / update the system after that??
For now, no one knows for sure, as the 3DS hasn't been hacked yet.
People that used DS Flash cards (like DSone for example) on thier 3DS got nothing from nintendo and where able to play it normally.
Maybe in the future, if the 3DS is hacked they will block net access.. just like the 360 and PS3.@dropper
As for an english version of this game, I looked at Namco-Bandai's (UK) official site, and the game is there. you can try and mail them :D -
Can anyone confirm that this game will be released in Europe IN ENGLISH??
Gigant Battle on the DS didn't come out in the UK, although there was an English version from Italy, I guess we got lucky.I've got a bad feeling that UCSP won't come to the UK or have an English language version. I can't find any UK shop that has the game for pre-order.
Amazon.it lists the game for the 10th of November, their version will only have Italian as a language option, and an Italian manual.
Amazon.de lists the game for the 31st of October, with only a Dutch language option.
Amazon.fr lists the game for the 30th of November, no languages are confirmed as of yet.Anyone know who would be the best PR to contact about if there will be a UK release?
Amazon.de has the German version, not the Dutch one xD
-
Nowhere? I've had UCSP pre-ordered at Game in the UK for months now. Doesn't really mean anything but they're saying they're getting it.
-
Just an FYI guys, its listed on Nintendo UK's website with a November '11 date. So yeah looks like it will be in English :3
Also its probably been said before but I'll say it again anyway, Play.com has a listing for the game.

Gigant Battle was listed on Nintendo UK's site the day before release. And we still didn't get it.
-
We did get it, it just took a while as well as being sold mostly online
-
no you had to import it from either spain or italy. You couldn't get it on UK online retailers
-
I do wanna point out that nearly ALL of them have it up for pre-order still. Makes me wonder if it MAY be getting a release.
-
i'll wait till 25th of november (GAME's date) and see if they do actually get it
-
It's still a bit vague, Namco-Bandai's confirmation is from the European site, which isn't specific to the UK.
I remember pre-ordering Gigant Battle from a couple of sites, but they eventually got cancelled. I still need to import a copy!We will need confirmation that it will reach the UK, we already received confirmation that Gigant Battle won't reach the UK!
-
Yeah it's kinda hard since Gigant Battle appeared to have been dropped literally on the day of release. Even magazines were given preview copies etc. (Although did any of them review it?)
-
I didn't see a review in the end. Only the previews
-
TGS stream is live right now, it's in Japanese but I'm pretty sure they are talking about One Piece. One of the guys has a straw hat.
(](http://www.twitch.tv/syakinta)talking about PS3 musou title now)
-
That's the trailer for the PS3 game. Speaking of…. where the hell did the thread for the One Piece PS3 game go!? Shouldn't it be in this section?
-
it should be but was moved to the video game section
-
Oh gosh… Gigant Battle, I am so confused about that game. One Piece games seem to be pretty damn elusive these days, even for us Europeans. ._. A few stores I've visited both online and in the highstreet have it in their systems but never in stock and unavailable to order (was the same story with Unlimited Cruise 1 and 2, thank Enel I have both now after a long struggle)... and then my friends went into Gamestop and got the last copy? Right now, I'm assuming that it was a copy ordered from Germany (central hub of gaming and anime community for Europe; most games are assembled there) and sold it to Gamestop or something... Everywhere keeps changing the story, right now the common word is that it's going to be released 1st November...?
Anybody else got anything different? @_@
-
I know some people who have gotten Gigant Battle for review purpose, but I don't know where to get it either.
Anyway, sorry for asking stupid questions but I don't feel like going trough 40 pages for the answer…
Is this 3DS game a remake of the 2 Wii games (or just one of them) or is this a whole new game? -

Remake with some small bits taken out and a Marineford mode tacked on. Also added Hancock, Iva, Akainu, Jinbe, Marco and Jozu in for Marineford.
-
Amazon.it had some copies, at a discount too. But they have now completely sold out =(

In your opinion, worth buying?
-
I can probably guess his opinion. Not at all if you've already got Unlimited cruise 1 & 2 on wii. If you don't have either then yeah. I also agree
-
Well I do have those games, but havent really took the time to play trough them yet and I AM still looking for 3DS games since I only have one so far =p
But if its really just the same game it may be better just to play those 2… -
What it is is those two games with a marineford mode added. Hancock, jinbei, akainu, marco & Jozu are added. Vs. Mode and Boss rush mode have been removed though

erm gigant battle is coming to the UK!
-
-
So the dates are as follows according to Amazon:
France: 30th November
Italy: 2nd February
Germany: 24th February
UK: ??Namco Bandai EU's site says 2011, who knows when this game will come out really?
With the Straw Hat crew being all cool and awesome heading to the new world in both the anime and the manga, I'm starting to feel the game will be too old to play by the time it gets released in English (if it does). -
Game.co.uk have Gigant Battle for the 3DS listed as 2nd Feb too. I'm assuming they mean this.
I have a long old pre-order for this one so I'll not be happy if they changed the date or cancel without informing us.
-
Well if Australia is anything to go by I doubt the game is being released in the UK either.
-
I knew it, god damn it.
I still hope there is at least a playable English version which we can import.
-
Queried about the game in Game today where I had the pre-order. Was told.
November 25th. Online store only.
Not on online store tho XD Apparently they received that list last week too so~
I contacted the online store about it. See what they say.
-
Namco Bandai have released a new release date list and this is down as a February release :(
-
what country is that 4 though?
-
Certainly Europe because of the Tales Of Abyss date. Which is now wrong because they announced that too has been delayed.
-
In Spain Bandai Namco confirmed new released date some days ago. I asked them in their Twitter :(
-
boo! well i suppose it's kinda ok. Last thing i needed was another game to buy in november
-
I presume that this is because sales won't be as good before Christmas. Once Mario Kart, Super Mario and all the kids get their 3DS at Xmas, chances are other games will sell better too!
Also, I completed Gigant Battle yesterday, I noticed in the credits that Namco-Bandai did indeed have a UK marketing person. Next time I'll write down the name and see if I can contact her about further details about the One Piece games reaching the UK. If anyone has any bribe money at hand, that would be welcome too! (jokes)
-

Tales of Abyss date is correct (25th November), Namco Bandai reconfirmed it today.
-

They did? They announced yesterday it was different XD
Just goes to show how useful they are when dealing with UK release dates and releases
-
The game will be available in Spain (and I suposse in all Europe) 10th February.
-
This makes it seem like it is coming out in the states too…. ?
Then again, it may be a European list and just a screw up on their part.
-
Yeah that's the European list, you can also tell by The Last Story and Pandora's Tower. Here's the American list, with no One Piece in sight: http://gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=168342
-
ah damn. Why can we not get this game in america. I played unlimited adventure to shit.
And cruise NEVER came over to america, was so glad that both were going to be on one game when it was announced and though "maybe this time"
but no, nothing yet. Isn't one piece selling decent over here? I thought the dvd's were doing good and the manga.
Oh and as for unlimited adventure. I had gone to 5 stores looking for the game and no one even knew what teh game was, and none of them had it. This was like a week after its release. I had to order online. How the hell does a company expect to sell a game if they don't release any copies.
I mean sure its the retailer that orders however many copies they want, but its the game companies job to make the retailer WANT to order there game and put it on shelves.
-
Yeah, i think I'm going to buy a Euro 3DS for this game. F*** region locking.
-
I wonder how long it's gonna take for someone to crack the region protection on the 3DS. :[
-
UPDATE Make sure you snap up your copy of One Piece Unlimited Cruise Special early, as the first print run of the game will be bundled with a limited-edition collectable figurine of Portgas D. Ace.http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/news/2011/nintendo_and_namco_bandai_sign_european_distribution_deal_for_one_piece_unlimited_cruise_special_47195.html http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7174/6550286439_510c36f801_b.jpg http://planetenintendo.wordpress.com/2011/12/21/nintendo-capcom-one-piece-collector-tekken-3d-en-fevrier/
Here's hoping this game actually releases in the UK….unlike Gigant Battle which was in english anyway:sad:. Anyone tried asking namco bandai uk's twitter if its coming out in the UK? http://twitter.com/#!/NamcoBandaiUK -
Anybets its the MSP Ace
-
Wow Europe gets a special edition? Hot hot hot!!
-
For all of you jumping around in joy with the news of the european release, wait and read the article again. It clearly says that the game is a remake of One Piece Unlimited Cruise PART ONE. JUST PART ONE. I just hope it´s a mistake from Nintendo, but I´ll send a mail to NamcoBandai for more info
