Time for the Bleach experience! Let's do this!
So Ichigo has a break down with funny looking bubbly speech letters. Looks kinda funny.
ICHIGO'S STABBED. Beautifuly executed.
Perfect time for a forced plot twist here…No wait... It's actually another forced plot twist within a forced plot twist!
Then, ass pull powers revealed. A-MAY-ZING!
I guess it's time to move on to Naruto then. Let's see...
EYES EYES PUKINGOUTRAVEN EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES EYES
Huh...Atleast the series has a clear focus.

If this experiment lasts. For the time being its just for the week to see what happens.
At the very least, this thread will keep me entertained until the next OP chapter comes out.

but the latest chapter was part of a double issue, so no Shonen Jump next week
Remember when Rasengan was like Naruto's signature attack, he like used it four times in Part one (once against Kabuto, and 3 against Sasuke). Now it's his ultimate spam weapon.
I feel like I apparently am numb to plot devices, since they are the hot topic. I do not care for when an obscure old character suddenly becomes the talk-of-the-town when he's the basis of a new maneuver that looks just like an old maneuver but with a new name. I do not care when said maneuver could have had greater influence in the historical mythos of the story. I also don't really care that a 500 chapter manga focuses solely on the development of a single character, and then fails at that.
I find it ironic that I do care that a few hundred anonymous internet dwellers who prefer to discuss only the faults of an artists work rather than the accomplishments. For some reason, I do care about a culture developed on the internet catering exclusively to fanatic enthusiasts who view opposing works as the bane of all artistic credibility.
This sensation of alienation brings about a painful amusement that I cannot adequately put into words.
As Ryuk of Death Note said: "Humans are interesting."
Aizen killed everyone in Central 46 and gave the order. Hitsu went to investigate and found them all dead. Those people giving Aizen his sentence are new.
I know that, but it doesn't change the fact that the "Shinigami giving powers to a human is taboo" law was in place before their death. Couldn't they at least they take a look at the circumstances of Rukia's crime before just ordering to capture her? (Also, isn't it odd we haven't seen Rukia in a gigai before this chapter in the timeskip? Either SS is in literal chaos or the 46 are unwilling to grant a few perks to their war heroes)
My question is, how did they come back? Who appointed the new members?

I just assumed Central 46 was made up of a bunch of old stooges who have managed to survive in SS, and have worked their way up the ladder.

If Kubo and Kishimoto doing anything good, we'll compliment them on that. They haven;t really done so in a long time though

Kishimoto still draws cool action sequences. Creativity could be improved, but I would love to see this current fight animated. And I don't even watch Naruto anymore.

This is to be expected through, Naruto is almost over.
His action scenes can be decent, but its not substance and there are many who do it far, far, better. Action is cool, but I'm no longer 12 and I need much more than that to call a series good, especially when that action lacks any substantial amount of creativity

The last two chapters have been good IMO. I am just confused about Shusui abilities.
not to mention action scenes have kind of become a sidenote in Naruto. They never shut up and while taunting and such in battles can be cool, in Naruto the battles recently feel more like a side dish to the horrible plot and dialogue, not a main course
Guys…guys...Renji became a captain. You heard it first.

To be fair, Naruto fights always has talking in them from the early chapters. Kishi has had this written style since part 1. I agree the talking can get under your skin at times through. When Naruto was giving Raikage a TNJ about his parents had me feeling bored.

Sup juju, glad you're back man. They sort of explained his ability in that chapter with Danzo.
I don't see what's so confusing about the ability, it's just as broken as Itachi explains it is.
Although the "10 years to activate" thing is just bullocks. What a stupid way to limit the power.
Kishi could've made a better excuse than that.
Guys…guys...Renji became a captain. You heard it first.
That would require Renji to win against someone powerful.
Why why why? I like Ishida but lately he only get thrown in to get stabbed or some shit, they never really give him a power up that matters. Ugh I was so waiting for Bleach to end after the Aizen stuff. But then this full bring crap happens…So...stupid....Hate hate hate.
This guy named DishonestAbe told me Naruto and Ichigo will have a crossover manga. You heard it here first. :ninja:
Well then good thing crossovers don't have plot anyway

Can you give me some examples of manga with better action scenes?
Also, I feel that manga with good action often lacks in story development. There are countless manga that I've lost interest in because they're style without substance. Somehow Naruto avoids that, I can't pinpoint what though.

Great next thing you know Naruto becomes a soul reaper and gets a Zanpakutō :ninja:

I just read Danzo part again. It seems that Shusui regular sharingan could implant small ideas and his MS can change someonebodies ideals completly. This is some Inception stuff. The hax jutsu normally have draw backs in Naruto which is a good thing IMO. Even Kabuto Edos have drawbacks. He can't control them completly if their will gets too great, He can't turn all of them into mindless machines because of his low chakra, and them getting TNJ. Thank god only Sasori(He was already captured through) and Sai brother got TNJ.
One Piece, Toriko, Hunter X Hunter (sure the art is worse, but the creativity and planning in the action scenes are incredibly satisfying), Berserk (even if it's seinen), Full Metal Alchemist, Negima off the top of my head. And maybe I put it badly. Some stories are based around action, creativity, and just having fun more so than plot. They're there for a fun, light read and you're not supposed to take them seriously. I have no problem with those. Naruto has no substance anymore, but it's trying harder than ever to still have it and that detracts from everything else. Naruto would be far better if it focused on just having fun with cool ninja action and didn't try so hard to be deep. Also I should mention Naruto's action scenes are only good panel to panel at this point. INdividual panels have good art, but the flow of battle is awful, the creativity is non existant, and explanations are stupid. Art's important with action scenes, but creativity, build up, and tension are what truly makes an action scene great
Tite Kubo is actually a pretty cool name. It's too bad it was wasted on a being that would be better off as a unicellular organism.
Actually, Tite Kubo is a pen name. I think his real name was Noriaki Kubo or something like that
At the end of Naruto, Naruto and his boyfriend Sasuke will do fusion to fight against Madara. They won't be able to unfuse since they used the Potara Earrings (Just the way Naruto likes it). You didn't hear it from me. :ninja:

Yep real name is Noriaki Kubo.
Whatever happened to the shiba siblings? I always found them entertaing.

They are in same place as the background.

You don't need to do the dance if you use the earrings though

They're in every chapter, you gotta draw on the white backgrounds to see them.

Oops messed up.
I don't mind liking a series partially for action, but I got different standards on what good action is. When I watch the action in Bleach, all I see is black stuff, back-attacks, white stuff and more back attacks. Same annoying stuff.
I'd rather see a girl throw a car across a lake towards one eyed monster that proceeds to dodge it only to notice the it was just a ruse to get dropkicked the face while the car explodes in the background upon getting owned. Or escaping from a moon prison facility using motorcycles, trains, and robots while armed with guns dropped by guards and officers or dismembered parts from machines. I want my mind to be blown away.

Naruto action scenes are creative and has build up. For example, Let me show you a good one that has all your requirements.(i am not sure about art because that basically a opinion)
-Tension/buildup
The build up with pein killing Kakashi and destroying the village.
Naruto enters the battle like a boss. http://www.mangareader.net/93-435-2/naruto/chapter-430.html
Naruto looks like he will lose http://www.mangareader.net/93-438-13/naruto/chapter-433.html http://www.mangareader.net/93-440-14/naruto/chapter-435.html
re http://www.mangareader.net/93-436-5/naruto/chapter-431.html
-Creativity
Naruto and his frog come up with a plan. Fogs the area and have Naruto take one out inside a summon body. This is smart because of the shared vision. He takes away Peins ability to see each other and kills one. http://www.mangareader.net/93-437-12/naruto/chapter-432.html
Naruto comes up with a plan to kill all of them. http://www.mangareader.net/93-438-13/naruto/chapter-433.html and Naruto even covers peins realms eyes, so they don't see him coming from the sky.

Put Ichigo, naruto, and Sasuke in the same room with no way out and a bed…..you can take it from there and blow your mind.....up..
^ I wasn't talking about strapping a bomb to myself and running into a crowd of tasteless fanartist.
Are you talking about Dead Leaves?
Hehehehe .
Pein fight was good until the ending utterly ruined it. But that's just one fight. And using a dustcloud or smoke bomb or whatever to stop Pain from seeing isn't really creative, nor is the frog part necessary.
As someone who hasn't read either Bleach nor Naruto, is it alright that I just buy the SS arc and Part 1 respectively or should I just ignore them altogether?

Those parts are enjoyble,i think they are worth to buy.
Wait, was that really Juju?

Yeah, you should only buy Part 1 of Naruto.
As for Bleach, just get the first five volumes. Everything after that just read online until you reach the end of the SS arc.

Yes. But once you're done with those, just pretend like both serieses ended at that point.
Guys…guys...Renji became a captain. You heard it first.
Aizen, Gin and Tousen had to be replaced.
Ikkaku, Renji and Hisagi???
Aizen, Gin and Tousen had to be replaced.
Ikkaku, Renji and Hisagi???
Ikkaku already achieved bankai but he already sayed he wants to server under Kenpachi.Renji almost the same thing but wants to surpass Rukia brother.
Hisagi did kill tousen (since kenpachi killed the previous captain) perphaps this qualify him but he wasnt fighting him alone.
Well kubo might simply discard this things but will be weird if they are promoted.
Bankai's are rare.
Everyone has them.

I bet Sasuke even has one I bet his bankai is a penis

Everyone has them.
Hahaha true, but must of them dont even use them for some reason(kubo lazyness).
Bankai + Shock/Hype Factor= Ratings
Fans love the stuff… for some reason.
Oh Juju
On topic can anyone explain Shisui's eye cause honest to god I don't know what's going on.
