Meh. I mostly like her there due to her shenanigans with Nina, who is probably my third favorite character of this series (followed by Yoshimitsu and Lili).

Still hoping for Lee though.

I KIND OF like the list. It has majority of the people I want, but it sucks that Christie, Lee, Rose, Fei Long, Elena, Miguel and Dudley aren't there. Oh well.

I will say some things:
-I'm digging the usage of Alpha characters (ESPEECIALLY Karin and R. Mika)
-I LOVE that the entire Street Fighter 1 cast is included.
-Save for Shadaloo, Blanka is the only SFII character not included. Poor Blanka.

As someone else mentioned, the game is most likely aiming toward 'same party' pairs instead of 'opposing party' rivals. Like Ryu + Ken or Paul + Law.

Uhhh… the only SF1 characters in there are Ryu, Ken, and Sagat. The game had ten characters, dood.

Honda is missing in addition to Blanka, which is a shame. Honda's my SF4 alt.

And yes, the game is organized into pairs instead of into rivals. Take that, annoying fans that think every character in every fighting game ever needs a rival.

Although, I gotta say, if that leaked list is the real deal, I really like it. Especially Sodom and Rolento's inclusion. My only beef: only three SF3 characters, and two of them were already in SF4. Would've liked to see Alex, Elena, Urien, or Sean. Alex gets a pass, though, for being in TvC and a beast in TvC on top of that.

And to the people saying his move set is too difficult/hard to implement… you can suck it.
I was doing his 10 hit combos just effin fine.

Lei is just a great character with an awesome kung-fu move set. His character doesn't rely on any dumb gimmicks (like being a android anime girl...or being... Lars)... he's just a homage to his fighting style.. jackie chan.

…I didn't forget Dhalsim. He was announced at Comic-Con. And I was referring to the same list you were referring to, I'm pretty sure. And I'm with you on the pairs thing, if that wasn't obvious already.

Although It's amazing to have a game where Zangief can FINALLY fight a bear ;) Roster is ok, I like all the Alpha characters being brought back into action. I never played Tekken, so I dunno how good their side is… thats not true I did play once, and I used this weird ass tree thing...

Anyways I can't complain aside from the lack of Blanka... why the hell would they do that... hes been there sense the start :/ I doubt this list is real.. no E.Honda as well.. I never liked Vega's or Balrog's play style.. but cmon, it's a street fighter game T.T Bring em all!!!

The game's going to have 30-40 characters, people. Your old main isn't there? Find a new main. My mains and alts for Super 2 Turbo, Alpha 3, Third Strike, and Super 4 AE are all different characters, because my preferences and expertise changed along with the games themselves. If you told me 15 years ago that I would eventually main T.Hawk and E.Honda in Street Fighter I wouldn't have believed you - in those days I was scurred to use anyone other than Ryu, Ken, or Sagat in Super 2, and I would use Cammy more than anyone else in Alpha 3. My Third Strike main isn't even in AE, but I won't complain because I really like Dudley and the twins.

I'd agree with the first two sentences of your second paragraph, but only for the Street Fighter side. Are all of these Tekken characters going to feel exactly like their Tekken counterparts? Oh hell no. They'll have many similarities on the surface, but I don't think any of them have been in a game like this before. Even though I've had favorites in the Tekken games I've played before (Marshall Law and Bryan Fury in T3, mostly), I'm viewing SFxT as Capcom's interpretation of Tekken characters and not the same ol' same ol' Tekken characters we've known for years. Which is why I feel that reconsidering the potential of this game, at this early stage, because of the possibility of the absence of a single Tekken character, is ridiculous.

Either way, I don't have to make my decision on whether or not to buy it right now, I've got months. In that time I could see something that blows my mind and makes me highly excited for this game or I can see a bunch of footage and think it looks boring. The exclusion of Lee simply tips the scale more into the "not excited" area, hence the "kinda not wanna buy". I never said anything like "Lee's not in? This game is gonna be terrible", it simply makes me second guess if I wanna buy it or not.

No there's no FADC's but there is team cancel using the same buttons so you can tag in and out to continue the combo.

Used it alot with my King/Nina team.

Depending on how Nina plays, my mains will probably either be Poison/Nina or Poison/Chunny. I like a good light and fast character.

My mains in both AE and Third Strike will be absent, so I'm going to try everyone and see how I like them. I also have almost zero Tekken experience, so it'll be fun trying those characters out. I generally like big, powerful characters that have at least one move that lets them move around quickly. I'll definitely try out Marduk and King.
