I thought it looked a little boring at first, but the build up to the next fight and dialogue throughout made up for the lack of physical conflict.
I'm expecting the next chapter to outdo the last three put together.

I love how Oga finally acknowledges in a serious tone how he feels about the whole "destroying humanity" element of the story.

Twas indeed a good chapter. Though not as good as the last one, but next one looks good. I'm kind of surprised that Oga has become so powerful, but I actually like that. I get a little tired of our protagonist being a total badass only for you to find out he's a complete pussy compared to the "real" fighters of the series (not saying it's a bad thing, just a little overdone). Then again these guys are definitely not the top dogs of the series there are definitely fighters who outrank them. I agree with Choperman, Tojo must appear again and kick major ass (because we all know he can do it).
Edit: One more thing that I've never commented on before. I don't really like all of the baby penis in this series. Call me a prude but it makes me a bit uncomfortable. But it's a minor gripe and there's nothing that can be done about it. And least it's not an armadillo penis :ninja:

Hmm, somehow I knew someone would get pissed off if I said that. You might not have noticed the "call me a prude" and "minor gripe" parts of my post. I don't really care tbh it's just I don't like looking at it. But it barely affects my enjoyment of the series and I was even thinking of commenting on how if you're going to have any male nudity in a series it might as well be a baby's but I wondered if that would make me sound weird or not. I know in Japan that young boys and babies being naked is considered perfectly acceptable but I didn't know if it was the same in the States (please don't get on my ass if the answer is obvious that it is, I didn't mean anything by it).
Look I enjoyed the chapter and I like the series a lot. Beelzebub and Toriko are pretty much tied for my second favorite series (after One Piece obviously). I'm sorry if I pissed you off so much, I didn't think my comment would be so aggravating to you. No need to get on my ass for it.

I think it was stupid of Kishi to put X in his manga almost erry DAY, with X standing for everything, that's not much of a question at all.
But since where you're going with this is "if it's stupid for Kishi to put armadillo dingdong in his manga, why isn't it stupid for someone to put peen in their other manga?" The reasons are manifold.
And they don't begin with being "offended."
It was a spectacularly stupid panel that was part of a spectacularly chapter capitalizing on the spectacularly stupid nature of the main character.
It came during a time of rainbows, and lame character deaths, and Jiraiya in a frog suit. It was a low point in Naruto were even awesome characters were being brought out of their graves to have a sad dog and pony show for the sake of some weak laughs. Nudity humor has been done before in plenty of manga - Dragonball, Hunter X Hunter - it's not some unique thing. And it's almost always done better than it was in Naruto.
But in Beelzebub, the focus of the humor isn't on the fact that he's nude, it's the fact that it's absurd.
A little baby that's afraid of a dead dragonfly and can't beat up a normal baby and can't stand to be further than a few feet away from his adopted "father" is supposed to be the son of Satan, and bring about the end of the world. It's not like, say, in Keniichi or Fairy Tail or Ichigo 100% or any harem show where nudity or stripped off clothing is clearly done for perverted reasons and not to get a few chuckles. It's not like they're lolis or naked little girls! Male nudity is always played for laughs.
But when they're babies? I, personally, don't even register it, mentally. I barely notice. Babies are naked sometimes. Ever seen a diaper commercial? Those have real babies, and usually people touching real baby ass. Is that offensive? It's difficult for me to see what the big deal is when it's just a few squiggles on paper.
Why doesn't baby Beel have a diaper on? It's silly! It's absurd! Just like everything else in this manga. Satan hasn't destroyed the earth because he's busy playing video games for chrissakes! – it's not worth that much mental attention.
In Naruto, it was an unexpected and forced joke. In Beelzebub, U is no big deal.

It's not nearly as bad as waiting for Hunter x Hunter chapters. Seriously Togashi doesn't even have the vague resemblance of a schedule like Miura does.
By the way, I have a question. Which do you prefer, Toriko or Beelzebub? Those are pretty much the two best Jump series right now behind One Piece. But which is better? Personally I could go either way. On one hand I like the Beelzebub cast more than the Toriko cast. (Not saying Toriko has a bad cast, but most of them you don't really care about, although Zebra's cool). I'd have to say the action in Toriko is better than Beelzebub's action. Toriko is indeed the manliest manga I have read. The worldbuilding in Toriko is the second biggest reason I like Toriko, Shimabukuro has created a very exciting and fascinating world with his series. Toriko also has better art, but that's not a huge deal for me. Beelzebub is a lot funnier, but that's to be expected with it being half Gag manga.

I find Toriko better but Beelzebub makes me laugh a lot more than Toriko, so I say Beelzebub because I prefer manga that make me smile.

It's really really hard to choose both are so epic it's not even funny….. it's epic
but really, I love toriko it has a one piece adventure feel to it, shows great food, has lots of awesome character and monster designs and the fights are great, tommyrod vs toriko being my favorite and one of my top manga fights and lots of manliness
Beelzebub has awesome characters, the funniest series I've ever read, it's impossible to predict in a good way, the fights aren't near toriko level but are pretty good, lot's of manliness and Toujou
which ones better is hard for me to choose, but in the end I'd have to go beelzebub, I love toriko to the ends of the earth and back but nothing in manga has made me laugh so much and just been so hard to predict, truly a great series, toriko's right behind it

Anyways, I was confused with the rankings again. So Naga was higher than those two afterall. He's stronger and higher-ranked than General Grafell, but what about the other Generals? And so the Pillar Squad has branches of factions, those three as said were from the Martial Arts faction or are they talking about the whole Behemoth's Pillar Squad as the faction?

Baby Beel Penis is never refered directly, is just an aftertought that he's naked, as babies (and people confortable with their bodies) do.
That's why one is heinous and the other is irrelevant.

I haven't read either of those series, I may wish to correct that (so many manga, so little time) Bakuman on the other hand, I have read and I think it's very enjoyable. I'd say that one rounds out the top 4 (I don't count HxH because Togashi is a lazy bastard-genius)

I recomend the Gintama Anime, it's suberb, and the manga scanlations that I've found are sub-par.
Sket Dance is hilarious and touching in the manga, the anime is at single digit stages though. I don't know why but I feel the manga better, I don't know if it's an objective opinion or that the chapters are too fresh in my memory, or that the manga is trully better, but I haven't laughed with the anime like I had with the manga.

I like Beelzebub more than Toriko. But I also like Sket Dance and Bakuman more. And Enigma about the same, maybe a little less.

Man get out of this thread then. I haven't been into any of the naruto threads because I don't read or enjoy the series. If you have such beef with this one, which I can't understand personally, then just stop reading about it. You definitely do not need to roll in here trolling about how Naruto is a better series than Beelzebub, that shit isn't even funny.

Yes the focus of humor of Beelzebub isn't on the fact beel doesn't wear clothes. BUt if you even try to say that Beel's lack of clothes wasn't intended as a joke to apeal to people with childish senses of humor, I'd find that a bit hard to believe. I can agree that the problem of the armadillo penis was due in part to the degree of focus it had. BUt my point was that the situations are fr less different then you make out. You said it yourself, Naruto was at a low point in the manga and that was just one more thing added. But that's my point: it was one more thing added. Yes babies are naked sometime, but so are armadillos. In fact, I've never once in my life seen an armadillo with clothes, whereas I usually see babies in diapers. The fact is any nudity humor would have been looked down upon in Naruto far more than it is done in other series simply because Naruto is already bad. If Naruto had the baby penis, I'm betting a lot of people who can ignore it in Beelzebub wouldn't ignore it there. People ignore it in Beelzebub because Beelzebub is a bad series. But ignoring it doesn't equate to liking it, finding it funny, or anything of the sort. It implies tolerance and that while you might not like it, it isn't a big deal and you can just pretend its not there.
really I can understand not liking the clothes thing but now your just being a dult, what they were yelling at kareem about that he wasn't doing is what your doing now, and your trying to add halfassed logic to it
- beel doesn't wear clothes to symbolize how bad of a parent oga is
- No one here is laughing there ass off cause he's naked we laugh at the more sophisticated humor you don't seem to be able to pick up
- this has always been in the series since day 1, naruto never did that shit, your trying to compare to different types of genres, one leans mostly on comedy the other is a strict shonen it's like criticizing zoolander for not having kick ass fights like the expendables did
- don't throw half assed comparisons out there and criticize a series simply because your emotional cause they got mad at a guy you liked, Kareem is a great guy and I understand why your mad, but a simple "that's not what he was saying" would do, though I do admire standing up for someone you like so your okay in my book
if you really feel this way though I can still argue but my guess is you did what I did a lot and shoot something down that they liked to get back at them, just tell me if it's not the case

From what I can gather regarding the next chapter…
! The chapter mainly seems to revolve around Beels penis. It starts off with dialogue explaining how his powers drawn are from beels member, before wrapping up the chapter by beating the remaining people with Beels manhood, and finishes with a nude pose of Beel with alain break-dancing in the background.
! Alain is also nude.A manly chapter indeed.
