@Castelmore:
Lol @ ignore list… You ignored me since the beginning. We can tell that you're answering what you want to, and you even make me say what I didn't. What's the fucking point ?
I didn't say you were a Croc fangirl, just that it's plain stupid to say Akainu's more despicable just because he's a marine and Croc less because he's a pirate so that justifies his actions.
It's simply ridiculous.
And how is my reasoning wrong? At least it's a reasoning, and if it's what makes me think Croc is more despicable, then what the fuck do you contradict that for ? You say yourself that you didn't argue the other guy who said he finds Croc more despicable. Oh, nothing wrong with his reasoning? LOL WHAT REASONING ?
"Buuh, I prefer Croc because... Well, he's a badass pirate and so kewl, yay ! It's normal if he kills thousands of people, he's a pirate ! Akainu's a sick motherfucker, he should protect people but kills them."
How fucking easy to say. It's a retard way of thinking.
You don't get it. The idea isn't that Crocodile's actions are justified because he's a pirate - they aren't, he is evil, no one is really denying this - but that Akainu's actions are worse because he has an obligation to protect innocents, yet he is introduced by recklessly and needlessly killing them.
The idea is that many readers will find Akainu more despicable than Crocodile because Akainu doesn't just commit evil acts, he does so while claiming he's doing it for the good of the world and with impunity from the law. It was already said that he was introduced while blowing up a boat full of civilians - he was obviously set up to be a character that readers would hate from the beginning, and although Crocodile may have a higher body count (maybe, who knows what Akainu did in the past), Akainu's actions come across as more evil even if you exclude his killing of Ace (I'd say that killing Ace was the least evil thing he ever did).
I do agree with your earlier statement that Sengoku is only maybe one or two steps above Akainu on the morality scale, he's no saint either, but just because Akainu isn't the only problem in the government doesn't mean that Crocodile along is automatically more evil than him. (I'm not even saying that you can't argue that Crocodile isn't worse, just that there are definitely grounds to argue that Akainu is.)
