Hahahah what a story Chronon.

The movie starring, directed by, produced by, and written by Tommy Wiseau.
That's what we're talking about. Chronon just isn't into the whole "so bad it's good thing" when it comes to most movies.
Then again, the amount of times I've shown it to him and constantly reference it may have a part in how much he hates it.
Dammit Sarus stop crushing my dreams
Damn Toshi… my nigga Peter went fucking HAM on you, son!
What does HAM even mean? Lol
Gg but the later matches ended up being laggy
Nigga… you should know what that means!
Anywho, you just gave birth to my "Spidey with the Avengers" team, bro!
I like Hulk and all, but I don't want to use him in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 nor Thor... so I'm going to use Spidey with Cap and Tony indeed.

This.
Though I will say Deadpool's theme is pretty fitting for his character and does flow well in battle.
Sigh, why is it more and more people appear to not know what they think they know.
Man you guys complain about stuff now, and chances are you'll flip a 180 eventually.
Why did he keep showing the same fucking assists and comboing into them.
Maybe to show different ways of comboing into them? A well used assist can be deadly.
…and really the guy went out of his way to record them and you're still not happy?
@Silence:
I thought there were multiple versions of "Take You For a Ride?" Seth Killian has definitely mentioned that a bunch.
Don't cry, Sarus.
They are in the game, chances are you got to unlock them first

Not really, in that what's shown there is basically a Super>X-Factor>Super combo. Everyone can do it, and it shaves about 50-70% health. Considering everyone can combo into a Super, everyone has the ability to do something like that, situationally.
Also, Sent's taunts are amazing.
"THREATEN TARGET!" "UNDERMINING TARGET'S CONFIDENCE!"
I will say, though, he dangerous to get in X-Factor…!

Yeah I know but it's vids like these that make scrubs offer them precious salty tears~
Tizoc… the guy who annoyingly likes to say shit like, "You're hating and you always be hating, but you're going to stop hating and love it!" to everyone, rather it is a big fucking deal or absolutely not.

I have no idea what you just posted, but have a sexy Spiderwoman fan-art =3
Why isn't she in Marvel vs. Capcom 3…
Yeah I know but it's vids like these that make scrubs offer them precious salty tears~
Oh yes~… They're already calling that strategy (Super>X-Factor>Same Super) cheap and broken, from what I've seen.
It's only broken, if you can repeat it over and over again.
Sigh, why is it more and more people appear to not know what they think they know.

Not know what exactly? All I did was say Deadpool's theme wasn't that good as others say. I even mentioned though it was very fitting for him and it definitely flowed well in battle.
And I've put the entire soundtrack (as of now anyways) on my iPod and I've been listening to that shit constantly. Some themes grew on me, others are catchy but overrated.
Trust me, if I was gonna do a 180 on anyone's theme, it would've happened already.
First online matches.

Well now, I'll be camping out at my local BestBuy till the game is released.
Oh my god… Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god... Oh my god...
I wish there was just a single list of all the locations where its being demoed at, that whole interface is just goofy and unclear.
During my lunch breaks this week…..I'm not going to be having lunch.....
EDIT: Best Buy at the mall right next to my fucking university. It's over...Thursday is most likely going to be the day of choice.
Sentinel seems very much like MVC3's Iron Tager; big damage heavyweight that seems overpowered if you don't know how do deal with him.
I'm noticing, from what we're seeing so far, he's very reliant on his BnB combo.

Yeah, he's big but that also means he sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm pretty sure the "Iron Target" principle will hold its water once the gameplay scene actually develops.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I saw the trailers for the Thor and Captian America movies during the Super Bowl, it was like a nasty tease that the game won't be out for another week or so…
Just played Marvel vs Capcom 2 seriously for the first time in what must be years.
I'm still just as good with Shuma as I remember, even if I can't remember how to do Chaos Dimension. Still awesome with Wolvie and Cable too. Couldn't remember how to play Dhaslim to save my life though.
My new set in MvC2 is Hayato/Strider, Rogue, and Sentinel.
@SSM:
Hard As a Motherfucka.
That nigga knew what the fuck it meant. lol

Got to Phoenix and wanted to laugh out loud so hard.
So I guess all that talk I'd heard about Dormammu having low health was bull pies. Good to hear. Odd that Deadpool has below-average health–I was under the impression he was an all-around type character. Then again, with all the options he has, I can see the logic.
Dormammu should be lower than that.
Deadpool sounds right.
He's a zoning character. Not a keep away character, but a zoning.

The main difference between BB's Tager and Sent is that Sent has mobility, which is something Tager lacks. MvC3 also incorporates assists, and with the right assists Sent can close the gap between him and his opponent.
So I think it's pretty naive to say that they are 'very much alike'.
Very.

I'm not saying they're carbon copies, I'm aware of all this, but they're in a very similar ball park. It isn't a matter of spacing, it's a matter of predictability and, of course, being a huge honkin' target. If a player can make sure to block low, punish quickly, and keep him back, they should be able to keep much of Sentinel's game at bay.
And Tager makes up for his mobility with the ability to bring his opponent to him, and various techniques with (projectile) invincibility.
Both characters rely on big damage from getting your opponent into certain situations, and if they can avoid said situation, you're in trouble. That's the point I was making. Unless they discover a new high-damage BnB, Sentinel doesn't look like he'll be the gamebreaker he used to be as long as the opponent makes sure to block that crouching double kick and retaliate (the latter shouldn't be too difficult, seeing how slow Sent is).
Of course, this is all armchair quarterbacking, but considering what we know from the pros who've actually been able to play the game, and the footage we've seen, I'd say concerns over another decade of Sentinel shinangeans are a bit premature.
There are gonna be a fuckton of people using him, though. Guaranteed. Ryu/Sentinel/Dante. That's gonna be the "scrub team," mark my words.
Ryu? In a scrub team?
What?
Scrubs aren't THAT stupid to use him in this game. lol

The people migrating from Super to MVC3 could just have him in the team cause they used him so damn much.
Ryu will always be the new player's fallback starting character. Every single time.
Yeah, in fucking training mode until they find someone else useful.

Eh, I still feel like he'll be popular.
Anywho, THIS IS MY TAUNT !

Oh Deadpool… <3
Also, UNDERMINE TARGET'S CONFIDENCE!
God damn, I know Phoenix isn't supposed to have the best health but thats practically laughable compared to everyone else.
Good to see that Chris and Wesker are above average though.
Ryu will always be the new player's fallback starting character. Every single time.
I dunno, from what I've seen and heard, Ryu is so boring and underpowered that I don't think we'll be seeing him online as much. If anything, AKUMA is gonna be the fallback character more than anyone else.

:(
I must be the among the few people here who doesn't care that Rockman isn't in this game.

? Ryu isn't in this game, why have 2 shotos when one is just enough? (i.e. Gouki)

The huge target thing didn't seem to stop Sent from being one of the best characters in MvC2, and only time will tell if that passes on into MvC3.
And Tager makes up for his mobility with the ability to bring his opponent to him, and various techniques with (projectile) invincibility.
…and yet he remains the lowest ranking character in all 3 BB games. One thing that still irks me about Tager is that his normals are slow, which doesn't seem to be the case with MvC3 Sent.
Just watch how much of a hard time Tager has against a good Carl-
A Hazama that plays hit and run is annoying as well.
Sure Magnetism helps, but not so much as mobility. Furthermore, MvC3 uses assists. If Tager could summon Mini Tagers to push back his opponent and give him enough space to advance, even a little, I might agree on what you wrote, but as it is, what you posted was only half true, at best.
So it's pre-mature to think Sent and Tager are alike.
Tager only wishes he had Sent's Flight mode ;.;
There are gonna be a fuckton of people using him, though. Guaranteed. Ryu/Sentinel/Dante. That's gonna be the "scrub team," mark my words.
Actually the guy who uploaded the assists mentioned that Dante and Ammy were among the best characters frmo what he tested, so you can expected something like Dante, Zero (he was top in TvC), Ammy, Mags and Sent.
At least in the early days.

Training mode options.
Take a look at the last feature shown….
Even factoring in lag in training mode.
Holy shish, let it not be said Capcom didn't think this through.
So have you guys thought up names for your teams yet?
I'm still wondering what to call my Haggar+Ammy+Zero team =/
