I beat bonus boss Alice in Strange Journey. I lucked out since she never used Die for Me, even though I was prepared for it. Now I need to whip up an armor that isn't weak to gunfire so I can take on Captain Jack.
What are you Playing?

After all these years I've finally been able to 100% Super Mario World.
-
FFXIV, WoW, Sims 3 (Looking forward to the next expansion that's coming out soon), Dragon Age (I've beat Origins with a Mage; I still need to beat it with Warrior and Rogue and beat Awakening), Dragon Quest IX (I've beat the main game, so I'm grinding out the grottos and maxing all job levels), and Arc Rise Fantasia. Also really looking forward to Fallout: New Vegas. Two more days.

I am disappoint son .
Its the only online game that most of my mates own. So you can imagine why I'd play it religiously after moving.
Besides what other games offer you the same style of shoot'em up fun apart from MAG?
(Black OPs might salvage it's rep) -
If you're talking solely about realistic war simulators, Bad Company 2 is a great game. MoH is mediocre.
Halo is fun if you're into sci-fi shit, and health packs and regenerating shields (It's more balanced than MW2, in my opinion)
-
Halo Reach and Phantasy Star Portable 2. PSP is a great handheld MMO game. Plus playing online on hand is awesome. I can feel my grades slowly dying.
-
Finished Lab X16 in Shadow of Chernobyl. Also found an artifact that lowers bleeding by 400% . And Snorks are ridiculously easy to kill with a knife.
-
I'm actually not playing any games right now…
I am watching my Mom playing Zelda: Twilight Princess though. Fun times.

I'm on the ps3 so halo isn't an option.
Btw MW2 IS realistic, you just have to put a decent game mode on.
e.g. hardcore team deathmatch. Most of the others are shite…

Then I'll suggest, once again, Bad Company 2, or wait for Battlefield 3.
There's also Killzone 2, I suppose, but 3's coming out in 2011 so I'd just wait.
And MAG, but I'm not sure about that one being too good. -

And MAG, but I'm not sure about that one being too good.Killzones an awesome game. Though I preferred the weapons on the PS2 (silenced pistol). Plus you have to love the intro.
Again the only issue with the stuff mentioned above is that the majority of my mates don't own them.

"The brain tumbler might be malfunctioning. Or you could be completely insane. Remind me to check on that later."
Psychonauts is awesome. That is all.
Edit: Trying to play Bioshock Demo but I don't get any sound after the opening cutscene :cwy: .

Close to beating SoC again, this time with a good ending. Here're some screenshots of my playthrough today.
This anomaly kept picking the guy up and dropping him.

My favorite gun in the game next to the gauss (?) gun.

All of those gray dots in the upper left of the screen are soldiers I killed.

[/hide]Game crashed on me after I exited the area with the Brain Scorcher, though.

Playing Left 4 Dead, trying to get the achievement for killing the Witch in one shot to the head. Perhaps I shall try the sniper rifle instead of the auto shotgun XD
-
I thought the same, but it's actually easier with the auto-shotgun.
-

Yeah, lol I did try it with the sniper rifle… Didn't work so well. Do I need to get close enough with the auto shotgun or what? Or do I have to startle her first and hope to take her down in one shot?
-
If I recall, you had to approach her and get very close to her before she would get startled. Clearly it sounds, AND is, extremely challenging, but you'll get it soon.
-
I got that Crowning the Witch achievement accidentally when I was just trying to be a douchebag to my friends and accidentally one-shotted her instead of getting us killed.
I've never been able to do it again, each time I remember to try.
-
Its fun when you un-knowingly get achievements in that game. Out of nowhere, "101 cremations" achievement when I just randomly wanted to blow up a bunch of zombies. I had lost count and forgotten about that achievement so that was nice. Also trying to get the one where you shoot the Hunter as he leaps towards you, but I can't seem to time it right.

Amnesia is the Lovecraft game I've hoped for so much. It's so freaking good. I'm glad the demo was different from the final product.
-
After just over forty hours of playtime I've begun exploration of the final sector, Horologium, in Strange Journey. I'm on the Neutral path, gotten all four Cosmic Eggs and the nuclear warhead, and all that's standing between me and Mem Aleph now are a horde of powerful demons and a dungeon crawler's worse nightmares made manifest. Here I go!
-
Now that my DQ fest is over (until 10 that is) it's off to play some more snes rpgs
First, Front Mission
then Bahamut Lagoon -
The chase with the mysterious splashes in Amnesia was intense as hell. The game continues to be creepy as fuck which is extremely enjoyable. The lantern always seems to run out of oil when I don't have any tinderboxes, though, which is annoying. I'm at the part where I have to find the flow control levers for the elevator. I've found one so far.
Also played some Arkham Asylum (after it decided to finally download) and started a new game on DCotE because I finally bought it (as opposed to my pirated version I was using earlier :ninja: ).
-
How come everywhere I go STALKER and Amnesia is like this hugely praised AMAZINGLY WONDERFULTASTIC ATMOSPHERIC PC game while here..
well its not..
-
Obscurity I'd say. And people not liking games with atmosphere. People just want a bright (or in recent times brown) game with a linear plot that doesn't require too much brain activity to play. I mean, I actually had to EXPLORE in those two games quite a few times to figure out what to do. Go figure.
And there's too much reading in Amnesia. I love it but I can see why people wouldn't like it too much.
-
I suppose.
Oh and you forgot to mention scripted. Goddamn those scripted linear adventure/shooter games
-
I only wish you could take screenshots in Amnesia without some convoluted work-around. The physics engine is awesome. I managed to stack four chairs into a tower and then got 2 chairs stuck in a chandelier .

^^You're kidding right? 15 hours should be standard, at least for an $80 PS3/Xbox game. :getlost:

You should be playing better games.

I'm an avid Halo only player when it comes to first-person shooters
Actually, I take that back, I pretty much play anything besides MoH and CoD.
Meaning I do play Battlefield -

My favorite games are Darksiders, and Call of Duty.
There's really no excuse to try and pass off a 5 hour game for $60. There's a word for that. Rip-off. Especially if they come out with a new one every year. You'd think that if they actually had interest in making a good game instead of making a quick buck then they'd make a full game instead of multiple blink and you miss it games.

Geez, he wasn't that bad .

Me thinks he was an alt.

Yeah it was my alt. I don't know just had a rough day and felt like making an abysmal troll.
And didn't we all just love LuffyGearSecond?

Had my sanity description get to "…" on Amnesia after trying to run past a monster. Those things are scary as fuck. I wish more happened when you start going insane. The only hallucination there is is bugs crawling across your vision. The room does start to pulse, though I guess. I just descended using the elevator.
Edit: Edit: Apparently being in the "..." stage for too long causes you to collapse and crawl instead of walk. Wonder what happens if you just stay in darkness a little after that.

Been playing Kirby's Epic Yarn and I'm loving it. Most of the handheld Kirby games I've played in recent years just felt like uninspired rehashes, but this game is truly creative.
-
I've saved up money by transforming myself into a ten year old and convincing my father I could earn money by painting his house, for it has been months since I have had a job. After several weeks of work and coming up with other ways to chore money out of him, I had enough to buy the keyboard for Rock Band 3.

I still don't own Rock Band 3.
I hooked it up to the computer and have been playing bemani games with it instead, to bide time.

now i playing some DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3
..not seriously..because i already unlock everything…
and also FF-XII (Just hunting rare gamers) -
I almost had a heart attack multiple times playing Amnesia. Those monsters just come out of nowhere. I don't know how much longer until I finish the game, I don't think it's supposed to be that long.
-
Fuckin' Jimenez…there's no way I can keep up with the debuffs when he's constantly spamming Left Hand. Ah, time for some grinding so I can fuse Cerberus and Tlaloc to get Sphinx which has Mediarahan and whatever other good stuff I can breed onto it.
-
Randomly, I'm playing the PSP version of the original Final Fantasy (I've already beaten like 3 other versions of the game so… not sure why I'm doing this) and replaying X-Men Legends 2 on the PS2. XML2 is awesome, and it has maybe my favorite cast of characters in a Marvel game - my only bitchwhine is that they dropped Psylocke, who was one of my favorites in XML1. Oh, and Colossus sucks in XML2, when he was awesome to the point of overpowered in XML1 - lame.
