I was wondering that too. Nami is really epic now, I love her character XD Well she probably turned the Weather Balls into weapons… So maybe instead of a staff, she turned them into something else o_o XD

I remember pages (to lazy to search) back someone mentioned the possibility of her earring letting it off…

Yet, looking at the picture and the fact we don't see her hand completely, she may have adapted her climatact to where she doesn't have to spin it anymore and just presses a button or something like that.

I was pleased with the way the new designs turned out. They'll take some getting used to though. Muscular Usopp is diturbing :blink:. I hopeZoro's scar doesn't affect his eye and that he's just winking or something in the colorspread. I'm wondering where Luffy got the scar on his chest as well, but I'm sure that will be revealed eventually.

As far as getting it goes, remember that Luffy's chest was never shown properly exposed after Akainu magma-burned him (just barely) as he punched past Jimbei. Everyone thinks that Luffy's scar is a burn scar from Akainu.

Luffy's scar does look like a burn and not a wound from a sharp object, but what I'm curious about is how Akainu magma fisting him would have made an X-shaped mark like that.

But it was shown properly. It was a really bad burn. His chest was literally on fire.

Anyone wondering how much power Luffy and Zoro have in comparison to the crew? Everyone definitely became more powerful, but Luffy trained with Rayleigh, and Zoro with the greatest swordsmen in the world. I guess it is understandable, since the gap has always been pretty huge between the monster trio and the rest of the crew, but I don't think even Sanji had comparable training to those two. Zoro most likely also got training in Haki, and we know Luffy has, but Sanji?

Huh? I'm only stating the general theory/consensus, not debating it. I also think that it is the most likely answer. Luffy will probably clarify very soon for the crew, and say it was that.

I don't think it would o_o Unless you were getting new costumes for EVERY single One Piece character then MAYBE yes. But just for a small change in Chopper's costume, it wouldn't cost much at all.

It probably will still be the "monster trio", but a bigger gap between 1/2 and 3.

Ah I see the only two problems I have with the chapter is 1 not seeing Zoro and 2 not seeing Franky. Yea we got a color spread however, the whole crew should of gotten screen time in the first chapter IMO.

I like the idea of the fake SHP I didn't think anyone would try and take Luffy's identity. I'm also hoping we can get a new crew member out of this. Also think of it like this if not for the fakes Robin would of gotten caught ^_^.

Also like Usopp's new attack it'd be a shame if he lost it because he ran out of ingredients. YOu didn't like Usopp's new design?

You've got to hand it to Oda, he always pulls out the unexpected - fake Strawhats assuming the identities of our heroes? Classic. I wonder if there'll be any ramifications from it down the line, with the real Strawhats now getting a pretty terrible reputation for just being plain cruel and nasty (not to mention heinously ugly).

I don't mind the changes to the crew overall.

Usopp and Franky kinda freak me out but I could get used to it. Seeing Franky next week will either seal or break the deal.
Robin and Nami are gorgeous. Is that the Revolutionaries after Robin? WG? Another group?
Luffy's same old Luffy.
Ditto for Chopper, but I think his head/body ratio is even more extreme and worrying than Nami's breasts.
Both Zoro and Sanji have weird things going on with their eyes. Zoro's grin seems kinda bizarre to me, for some reason.
And Brook… I agree with whoever said they hope he ditches the rockstar getup and goes back to his gentlemanly attire.

I just hope, as much as I want everything to be resolved tidily and at a measured pace, that we freaking get to the New World soon. There are still several things that have to happen before that transpires, and I'm wondering if it'll be chapter 700 before we hit it.

Speaking of hitting it, who wants cucumbers? shudder
