Meh. I watched the anime all the way through CP9, and the only scene that ever felt stronger in the anime than the manga was "the punch". You know the one, right? "That" punch? If you think I'm talking about Lucchi or the Tenryuubito, you sure would have to be young, so I bet you know which one I mean.

If so I don't think they will take a brake, but I do believe they will air some filler, hopefully not to much though.

I don't mind the info and new designs spread over a few chapters, I want it fleshed out so I can savor it mmmmm
I have the feeling that this chapter will have a montage of each character training and growing (and scenes of the world changing as well), then Luffy leaving the island he's training in, the resolution (or at least a quasi-resolution) to Hancock's story (either goodbye or she goes with him) and in the very last pages the Strawhats heading to Sabaody.

I think Luffy will be less gullible and innocent and more mature, but he'll still be Luffy. In other words, it will be a minor change that we may not feel immediately… or something that appears as a big change at first, but then we realize he's still an idiot anyway.
Wano predictions: There will be 5 acts; All Straw Hats will get fights, some in Act 4; Big Mom Pirates will arrive; Carrot will have her moment, but won't join; Yamato will be a Kouzuki samurai and Wano's Guardian; Shanks will visit Luffy in Act 5; Next arc is Mary Geoise.
The thing I can't wait to see is his reapperal in the pirate world. Im sure everyone will think Luffy retired or met with an accident. Two whole years without the terrorist Luffy. Next thing you know a large marine ship in the new world is reporting back to headquarters saying there under attack and cutting off before they can say who is attacking.
All they heard at headquarters is that theres a ship with a skull and crossbones on the sails wearing a strawhat! XDD

I don't know about that. I mean, he's been all alone with Rayleigh on a uncharted island for two years. Unless Rayleigh did some Philosophy classes every now and again, I can't see him changing unless if you mean Ace's death did it.

The anime will probably extend the content of the chapter before the timeskip… we will see meaningless extended scenes of the Supernovas, Strawhats, Crocodile, Smoker and others.
Honestly, I think in some ways I'd prefer them to just stop for a while and make a second One Piece anime for post timeskip. Just because filler seems like it woud be hard to keep coming by, especially filler that doesn't cause severe problems with the story later on, and I'm not sure if the manga will be past the first post-timeskip arc by the time the anime gets to the timeskip.

That is actually a really good idea. I hope they do that, but they probably won't, just from past indications.
I agree - actually a fantastic idea. Way to give the fans what they've all been wanting. Add in some old faces to keep hooked long fans during the break. And also to emphasise that the Strawhats are hard at work training, and that life is going on around them.

I have a strong tolerance for them. If it's extra fun episodes in an arc, yeah great! Ocean's dream was fun, as was the Pool Park with Foxy Filler. But the IceHunter arc was awful. Whole Filler Arcs are rarely great. G8 was fantastic though.

The girl that took Usopp's goggles is definitely filler. The manga didn't even show Usopp getting his goggles. Oda mentioned it in an SBS though, he didn't draw it due to space/page restrictions.

She used to look a bit older, or at least taller. But then Oda changed the design and made her a little girl in the manga too.
Given that she's 5 heads high, it's unlikely that Goldenweek is under the teens.
