Don't you understand that if usopp was the main character he would have beaten luffy it's an anime but overall usopp can beat everyone it's basically about who lands the first attack like example before zoro could use something like oni giri robin would snap his back like a twig
I do understand, but he is not the main character and unless Oda makes a side story based on him, doubt he will be strongest. When you are considering "who lands the first attack" you wonder what attack will it be? When that is the question Ussop only has ingenuity of using random/new items. In the case of planning and seeing through facades… then Robin, Chopper (only through weaknesses), Franky (if it is seeing through weak points in a manufactured item/being) or Nami (in the case of thinking a few steps ahead) are more effective than Usopp. If you are thinking in strength and usage of his random weapons, what matters most is what tool he has. Then it is no longer about Usopp's strength but how good the weapons he has are, other than that he just has extreme aim and his bipolar issue of negativity and confidence. So if it is a question about weapons, then it doesn't really put him above others, it just makes him very useful. Nami is a similar point, the climatact made her strong but the key to her is how well she can use it.
When you consider first attacks, a lot of the issues are subjective. Common sense is not always correct, especially common sense that people think they have as sensibility is usually not correct in real world applications.
If robin were to use "clutch" on Zoro, his sheer strength and stamina is at a purely ridiculous level, in any case Robin's fruit is more based on her ingenuity and using the appropriate number of body parts to deal the damage. In the case of most attempts she uses her basic attacks on, they fall mainly due to them being trash enemies such as the basic marine sailor. When she faces a far stronger opponent she does not use those basic 2, 4 or 6 arm/hand/flower techniques as it feels no different to the enemy than a light slap. Remember that the strength of her arms are probably no different than Nami's so to do significant damage she must grow far more arms and use the area around her. Her largest strength is her cunning and how she can trap a person in a well laid out plan.
If you look at basic strategies, yes the first to move can have an advantage, but it is not the only thing that can lead to victory. I can understand fans of Usopp and people wanting him to be the best, but you cant just say he can be the best because he might be able to attack first as that applies to practically any life form let alone character.... If you mention Usopp SHOULD be the strongest, then by your reasoning, how can Chopper be the weakest considering he has just as much potential of growth? That is what confuses me in hindsight, your statements and reasoning sort of contradicted each other while I sort of didn't understand what your ranking was based on.
Either way I hold no ill will, as I agree that each of the strawhats, in their own right, can be extremely strong (especially depending on the situation to work on their strong points) and reading the story is quite entertaining. I just hold more to the point mentioned about nakama to begin with: each person has their strong points and weak points so that as a team/crew/shipmates/friends/nakama they can supplement for each others weak points. The whole spiel Luffy had in Arlong Park was characteristic of that.
