@metteminne:
what will the punishment be?:ninja:
Will? Metterminne, I'm not a Republic Serial villain. Do you seriously think I'd explain my plan if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome? I punished him thirty-five minutes ago.
-
Tsk tsk. I voted Usopp no matter what the RA thinks. Robin is just so unlovable.
-

you did ? so what happend?
-
how can Robin be unlovable? i'll admit that Usopp's artwork is creative, especially Sogeking. but you can't read the Ohara flashback or the "i wadda live" part and not hope that she'll be happy for the rest of her life.
-
Yes I can. The "I wadda live" part was way too cliché. Robin doesn't even fit the crew, as she's too different from the rest of the bunch. Too dark and serious. Not that I like Usopp either, but he's atleast been likeable and has done something. Those two are at the bottom of my personal SH-list.
-
Sorry Sea but I can't stand by the Revolution Army today. Usopp to the next round.
-
a lot off people off the revolutionary army will be punished today
-

i was planing to vote for Robin,
But,when i read that the revolutionary army supports Robin
i changed my mind
and again, Usopp is almost as manly ass Kenshiro
(he tried to fight jyabura) -
If Oseamandias and his army supports Robin, I will vote Usopp.
-
@Sea:
Robin is with the Revolution Army.
Screw The Revolution Army, We Have Heracles'un!
is your greatest enemy
-
Dragon killed God.
Religion before Revolution.
EDIT: And what is this punishment you speak of?

Haha, great. That is how influential I am.
Ivotas ver 2.0

Nah, I never said I want the army to vote as my will. Vote whoever you like, okay.
-
A disputed match
between SH
is so Good to watch.
"Is like watching two Criminals killing themselves" -
Usopp is the crewmate-killer.
-
Those two are at the bottom of my personal SH-list.
That's the only reason why I couldn't decide who to vote for. I based it solely on campaigns.
I don't really care who advances as long as they don't survive the next round, which none of them would. -
If Usopp advances to the next round we can call him 'The Lady Killer' since he'd have taken out Nami and Robin! xD Drinks around the house if he makes it through!

Lol, yes exactly! Let's make it happen AP Forums!
-
I can't believe I basically missed out on pretty much the entire epic match that is still going on at this very moment. Damn school… Well anyways, don't disappoint me AP! Even though I've already been crushingly disappointed many times, I'll keep my hopes up! Good night or something.
-
I will go to sleep I hope the man with the long nose wins.
-
After Robin's defeat, this is me right now
Telling you to vote for Mihawk.
-
It's official folks.
Don't worry Kitsune, Mihawk has the next match in the bag. >(~_~)>
-
Outerspec, you will get a promotion in the army for doing a good job in campaigning.
-
awww…
cute kitty.........And a swordkitty too!!
VOTE MIHAWK!!!
But seriously, I'm glad the Robin vs Usopp one got to be that tight till the end. Nice play!! Great match!!
eventhough Robin didn't manage, I'm contended :D
I'm glad I have the holiday I need to support Robin to the fullest XD
Great job all!!
-
Next year, Robin. Next year, we will succeed.
-
Meh,I don't care who wins this match.
I'll go with Mihawk because Kitsune told me to…
-
Next year, Robin. Next year, we will succeed.
Indeed
Robin's progress has been great
2005: kicked out by Nami at the second round
2009: kicked out by Luffy at the third round or so
2010: kicked out by Usopp at the 4th round
Notice that no other than other SHs that could kick Robin out??
next…. Robin will be the winner!! XD
-

Awesome! Though, truthfully I don't know what my previous position was. Hopefully my new position will be less ambiguous.
-
Hmm, Nami beat Robin? Do we still have the old tourney archives?

Before you were fodder. A fodder among fodders.
Now you are captain Outerspec. -

Now you are captain Outerspec.Gotta start somewhere I guess.
Alright, Captain Outerspec it is! Accepted gratefully. First act of duty, going to bed! Goodnight AP.
-
awww shucks Robin lost :( i feel like a great battle has just been fought. fantastic job to all those who campaigned in one way or another.
i'm probably going to skip on Kuma vs. Mihawk. i fully expect the swordsman to win, though.
-

They're not archived seperately, but they're still around I think. I believe that they're in General One Piece Discussion, but I'm not sure about that.
Keep in mind though that the Tournament matches in those days usually had less than fifty votes cast in them. That and ties were settled by coin flip. That's how Franky beat Sanji in fact.
Did you ever figure out how the bounties work?
-
We didn't. At least I never got that problem solved. The enthusiasm pretty much died after a few days.
Oh, and by the way. Could you go and edit the winners and the vote amounts, please? The opening post is quite out of date.

No, my brain had a meltdown.
In any case, I found the matchups for all but Round 3 of the 2005 tourney.
Does the 2004 tourney even exist anymore?

Sure. Boy, the rest of the Mods sure are lazy bastards, am I right? Except Tare, who I just now noticed is reading this thread.
No, my brain had a meltdown.
Well, if you get interested again, I would suggest inputting the latest two bounties into your bonus list. Kuma's especially should be of some interest.
In any case, I found the matchups for all but Round 3 of the 2005 tourney.
It doesn't help that they kept using the same thread over and over again to post the matches so there's no concrete list of all the matches.
Does the 2004 tourney even exist anymore?
Not unless you can find it via the Wayback Machine; the 2004 Tourney was on the previous incarnation of the AP Forum.
-
I don't think the 2004 tourney matchs still existed. It was before our beloved forum crashed I think…
And hmm?? oh... first post hasn't been updated yet? Let's see
-

I don't even remember any of the matches from 2004. All I know is that Usopp won it.
The only one I even remember from 2005 was Franky vs. Sanji and that's because of the coin flip and e1n's picture campaign.
-
Now, who's meddling with the Bon-boy vs Dragon match? Don't do that.
-
Found some juicy info which I've thrown onto the AP Wiki.
We had a lot of repeat matches this year from that tournament… Luffy vs. Franky, WB vs. Aokiji, Croc vs. Bon
-
Whaddaya say Kitsune. Should we try to solve the teaser once and for all, when we're both free tonight. Not having it solved is bugging me quite heavily.
-
Sure. Boy, the rest of the Mods sure are lazy bastards, am I right? Except Tare, who I just now noticed is reading this thread.
Busted!!!
but that's not true…. I've been gone for weeks, neglected all the works, and only return to support my beloved Robin
afterall… if we have guys... why I need to work?? :ninja:
ahem… anyway...
I don't even remember any of the matches from 2004. All I know is that Usopp won it.
Yes, that's true. I also don't remember that tourney at all. Moreso that it happened before the tourney crashed, that leave us with no trace of the tourney at all.
And I only vaguely remember 2005's tourney. the only thing I remember was, we consistently have intro-conclusion fic at that time, which I really enjoyed, and the Robin vs Nami one, where Robin lost. Oh, and I was nominating Tashigi at that time.
That said, I nominate Tashigi twice already, and she always lost at earlier round. Poor Tashigi T-T
-
I'm quite glad Robin is out of the tournament. It looks like this year will go without a strawhat winner after all. I'm predicting whitebeard vs bon clay in the final match.
Also, the Dragon winner in the beginning is probably just a mistake. I don't think they're pulling an x-drake or kizaru on us :P

I wasn't even aware that such a thing existed until I read this.

Nor was I aware of this. I definitely would have mentioned it in Luffy vs Franky had I recalled that.
-
Oh my, Usopp went and beat Nami and Robin in a row! Usopp is a great guy, but I think he should go to jail now.
-
Woohoo!!! Captain Usopp Ftw
