LOL I just finished watching your Bonney vid, CR. I cracked up so hard when you turned your camera towards that shelf of Daleks. I was like "oh shi--"

I wish you'd remember where you got that mini-Dalek from, it's the most epic thing ever. 8| It looks small enough that I can fit it in one hand. The only others I've seen are the big 6-7 inch tall ones. They are not travel-friendly. =_=

Not to mention that mini one is like a zenmai dash figure! I love it when you can wind up their springs and have them roll around on their own.

I know exactly where I got it from. A place called Model Zone from the UK. I have a POP sized Earthshock Cyberman, a Stealth Cyberman from 'Attack of the Cybermen.' and a 4th Doctor + K-9 (I even took pictures years ago of Robin POP wearing his scarf.) all of which talk and are from the same manufacturer: Product Enterprises.

Megahouse is a company that's in business to make money, not necessarily appease every fan of a given property. Releasing a figure like Boa's serves two demographics - the manga/anime fan and the pervy fan. The fact that the figure sold out as fast as it did further supports that. Some of you need to remember that it's just a plastic figure and not a living being. Yeah, the sculpt may be a little questionable to some of you, but at the end of the day, it's just sculpted pvc based on a comic. Lighten up.

Play-Asia is an excellent site in terms of reliability and condition upon arrival but their prices and shipping costs are unreasonable for large figures.

I can look around right now and see if I can find a place with a better price.

Play-Asia seems to be the only one with them available at the moment and if I remember correctly, you can instantly cancel any credit card pre-order there anyway. You could get a reservation as a last resort and wait and see if other sites with better pricing re-open orders.

Nah. No one really showed the removable part of SW Robin with the thong so… For all we know it could be a way to give a little present to the kids in the target market in a way so that their parents don't know to prevent them from buying it. :ninja:

It is, and even though some P.O.P models have a lot of pieces, they look surprisingly better than expected once assembled.

Looks like the shoe was forced off judging by the appearance of her foot. And just an example for another one with multiple pieces that looks fine once assembled, SW Robin. There's the head, torso, legs, both arms, and all the other parts you can swap out plus her cloak is removable.

It'll look fine once assembled, it may be in multiple parts but it allows for customization and will still look great.

Okay, yeah.. it does kinda look like a Barbie or a figma and I suppose it's somewhat overpriced because of it.

Well, yeah. At the very least we can imagine that everyone who preordered up to this point was only after the "clothes on" aspect of the figure/character.

To be honest this feature feels far more… useless than the excessively detailed thongs on the other figures. After all, it's not like you can pose her without clothes with those arms, and even though I find her tatoo being present sort of satisfying the fact that it'd be hidden by her hair makes it.... I dunno... it all feels pretty empty. It's like they stopped halfway on the ecchi process and it all became pretty much pointless.

Anyways, in the end we get what we were after, a great looking Boa Hancock figure with clothes on and the neat features of an alternate face and arm and a removable cape.

I would take Salome and the inability to remove her clothes over the current form. However, I'm not buying this POP so I have no say.

Also not buying her Super DX figure either. Gonna stick with the DX Warlords line from Banpresto instead.

Did you seriously type this? HLJ, ~~Amiami~~, Play-Asia and every store mark, with NO exception, figure as adult if they show nipples or private areas. Thongs don't count because they are covering the essentials. Much like swimsuits.

Discarding Amiami now… neither HLJ nor Play-Asia have such warnings on Hancock. Therefore those picks aren't from an out of the box figure... but rather a customized one.

I'm stunned… I know Megahouse does nudes all the time, but this is OP. This is merchandise for a kids show, there's no way that's real (tho I want it to be). It's shopped, her breasts have a bump to simulate nipples, but there's not actual defined nipples and the pink was customed on, probably from photoshop.

Her shirt can be forcefully removed, but there's no actual pink on her breasts.

I guess it's all matter of how much you like it. That amount ($57) for two figures is close to how much I spent on Sanji with post. I don't know if that is justified. To be honest, the regular price of $10 each to me is expensive for a small figure. I am still getting the ones I like aside from the expense; but, if they were at your price, I don't know if I would.

I dunno… Megahouse could have decided to test the crazy strategy of leaving the castoff capability of the figure hidden until release. As a sort of surprise, even from the sellers. And yeah, this might just surprise a lot of angry parents and they could be in for a flood of angry letters. Really, who knows, it's Megahouse! They're great manufacturers but also a bit wrong in the head.

And... that figure DOES look fairly legit... I would also trade this treat for Salome or a cheaper price on the figure. Maybe they'll start an accessory line for their figures and make a Salome extra for Boa... heh... >_>;

I can't remember which user it is, but someone usually knows which of the WCF's are going to be rare in advance of their release and was just wondering if they knew which of next months (pretty bad looking IMO) set are going to be hard to get hold off? Also, the special Halloween set?

I find it hard to believe that they'd put pink on them when they're already half exposed but that picture does look real to me.. I guess there's a slight look of shopping but I'd still think it's more likely to be real.

You bet. I'm working my butt off trying to find the Lucci figures I'm missing LOL. There is no way in hell I'm going to miss out on this one.
Found pictures and listings of Masked Kaku, Masked Califa, Masked Blueno, Robin, and Luffy in that keychain set, but for some friggen reason there isn't a SINGLE picture of Masked Lucci from that set. Not ONE. WOW. I remember being heartbroken when I thought I couldn't get the Lucci styling off Ebay - then I discovered YJ and The Creasinator - and now even YJ and Rakuten and Google are failing me. There's some random Rakuten listing, no pictures, that has the Lucci and Luffy from the Deforme set for pre-order. Apparently. 880 yen? Not too bad, but does Rakuten normally sell sets like that? I think Lucci was supposed to be one of the commons in the retail boxes, but it's weird. I don't really need the Luffy anyways...
