@pyromonki:
Filler like this is why anime need SEASONS.
The animation studios get so hungry for money that they destroy the "quality" of a show for the slot time. (I'm speaking in general here not Felch)
They can't, I don't know, produce another of the 1,00000 manga that could use an anime adaptation to fill the time slot?
Like Neuro? Continue Soul Eater? Since they do this shit like clockwork, another series can't be like re-inventing the wheel.
The problem with that in the "Jump" model is this: if an anime ends, then the main means of exposing the series is gone. Usually that leads to series collapse and ultimately it's end. If a series is strong enough on it's own merits, it will survive. But usually an end to an anime is a major blow which usually leads to less exposure, less people voting for it and ultimately collapse. Thus why a series like Bleach thinks it has to stay on the air: if it stays on the air, then it supports the manga…and if the manga keeps going, then the anime will still have a means to have people watch it.
Trust me, for every Jump manga that gets a "full series run", tons don't.
