People read Naruto out of obligation. It was such a good manga and took such a deep nosedive that we're curious as to how it could have fans that regard it as the highest form of entertainment. By reading it, we can see that they're arguments are complete bullshit. We read Naruto when it was good, so we can't just leave it sitting there, unfinished. Like an unfinished chore. So we continue to read it.
