I just didn't find those moments all that funny or as memorable . And the movies didn't realy have all that much to make fun off lots of the time . Like his Full House review .
And no I didn't get offended by it :P

Catching up on the last couple episodes of Angry Joe. I can't believe he got Lisa Foiles from All That (from the 2002 - 2005) to join his cast for of his shows new formet. And I really the new format so far.

The NC reviews A Troll in Central Park
You know, I saw this movie at some point when I was in elementary school, and I knew it was bad, but I honestly don't remember it being this bad. My god what a piece of shit movie (Don Bluth, what the hell happened?!)
That movie is like diabetes in a can, watch it and your blood sugar will rise to unspeakable levels. Either that or it will make you vomit.
Actually, it would make anyone vomit with rage.
In other news, Linkara has released a new History of Power Rangers.

Part 2: http://blip.tv/file/3732261
When I see this movie, I immediately think, "Wow, Miyazaki could have done this 100x better."
Seriously, the setting and theme of the movie seems right up Miyazaki's alley, except he's smart enough to know not to talk down to kids and to give the movie a good dark edge. I would have loved to see his interpretation of the trolls and whatnot (and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't make the flowers sing and dance), but no, we're stuck with Toddlers Delite here.
I can't wait for Lightspeed Rescue. Speaking of theme songs, Power Rangers used to always have addicted theme songs. This however stopped at Mystic Force (and the series I just stopped at). I remember they were supposed to have this badass theme, but Disney wanted something all "gangsta". Does Disney even have commercials that have nothing to do with Disney?
If Linkara can watch shows in a different language and read subtitles, then I would recommond he should check out Choujin Sentai Jetman. The main villain is a badass, the monsters actually kill people (the traffic light monster, and the bus monster), and the characters are awesome especially Gai. I would love to see his take on their final battle with the main villain.

I'm seeing less of "video game playing girl" and more of the typical "girl gamer" in that blog. The kind that's all "TEE HEE. Don't you hit on me, you silly boys!"
A Troll in Central Park was truly awful. I didn't even realize it was a Don Bluth film until recently (I guess my brain refused to acknowledge that such a man could sink so low.)
I remember being distinctly creeped out by Stanely and wondering if there was something mentally off with Rosy.
Uhm , Rosy was a toddler , what were you expecting ?
I know several toddlers, though, who are more adept at speaking than she is (my two nieces included.) She just seemed like such a helpless and dumbed-down cutesy character. I suppose it bothered me.
As for the movie…..well tell you the truth I saw it two years ago it wasn't that bad . It was cheesy as hell , with no real conflict but not realy merriting all the special atention the critic gave the aspect of its horribleness .
Angry Joe is going to be at E3.

Man I can't wait for his review of The Room.
YOU ARE TEARING ME APART, CRITIC!
Ooh boy. Hook. The film that has been universally panned by critics and adored by the general public. That oughtta be good.
Also looking forward to his Flintstones and Independence Day reviews and the Animaniacs tribute.
Hopefully Critic should know to love it while still pointing out it's weak points (Julia Roberts, anyone?)
Just saw the review for Troll in Central Park. I knew Don Bluth had gone downhill after All Dogs Go to Heaven, but wow. I never thought he sunk that low! Most of the time when NC reviews a movie, I think "This doesn't look that bad". ATICP looks THAT bad. Good review, though. I liked how he put "He's the only troll more annoying than the ones from Encyclopedia Dramatica" on his list of reasons Stanley will have his dream come true. Also, the line about Stanley's evil plan to take over New York had me in tears!

Fuck. Yes.
It's interesting to see Hook reviewed since in this forum too many people like it a lot. To be honest, I don't think it's really a bad movie either. Haven't seen it lately, though.
Independence Day review will be an hour long and he still doesn't have time to make fun of all the stupid scenes.
I loved Hook as a kid. I'd still probably would watch it today. It'll be nice to see Doug's take on it. Top 11 Coolest Cliches sounds interesting too.
As I noted way back , the movie is good , but Robin Williams is not Peter Pan .
Yeah same here, I loved the movie and it take on what happens after the original story. Not the biggest Robin Willams fans but I still loved it. Plus Anthony Hopkins did a marvelous job as Hook.
ahem Don't you mean Dustin Hoffman?
Robert Deniro, Marlon Brando, same difference.

Oh? =P Don't I feel stupid, thanks for the correction. Don't know how I got em confused.
I actually think nowadays Spoony is my favourite reviewer. His style of humour and area of interests seems very similar to my own and he reviews a lot of stuff I've played or watched too. I've also been listening his commentaries and v-logs on various subjects lately, and it's strange how entertaining a single guy just talking about stuff can be.

I've been waiting for that!
I really hope he does XII in the future, just because it's so different. (and yet not)

He's claimed that he liked XII though. Sure, he'll make fun of Vaan, but he liked the game overall.

Well, in lieu of that, it would be awesome if he did FFXIII, because we KNOW he hated that.

Really, where did he say that?
And it wouldn't have to be a long review ala VIII/X, even a comparison between it and the past blunders would be nice.

A little bit after the first part of the FFX review, he posted a video log which included his starting opinion of FFXIII. In the midst of his vlog, he mentioned FFXII and how many people did not like FFXII. He stated that, despite the majority, he actually enjoyed it.
With the exception of Vaan and some of the tedious moments of the game, I agree with him.
EDIT: Here's the vlog.

Uh where did you get this because 6/15 says Flinstones but it was actually "Theodore Rex"?

He lost his voice and fell behind a week a few weeks back. Theodore Rex was at the end of the previous schedule.
Spoony and Joe (and I think 8-bit) are right now at E3. I can't wait to see their footage.
According to their twitter, their hotel has zero wifi service, so we'll have to wait til' E3 is over.
Jew Wario is also at E3 as well.
Jew Wario is also at E3 as well.
Hadn't heard that he did.
I'm surprised some of them are NOT going to E3. If I even had a fraction of a chance, I'd be there in a heart beat.
Like Jurrassic Park.
Ah MarzGurl apears to have some sort of editorial criticising people reading scanlations and those getting upset when scan sites stop doing "illicit activities"…...
Just more reason for me not to watch .

Several people did try going. I know Jason (LordKaT) from Until We Win tried applying to go but they denied him. Spoony and Joe are just big enough names, and JewWario is going on the behalf of KokuGamer.
Personally I absolutely love Joe being there. Heard he pissed off the Mafia 2 rep with his questions. Hoping to get some great revealing interviews out of them.

To be fair, she's not criticizing the people reading the manga in this video, but rather the readers who are directly attacking the manga scanlation sites that are closing down.
Stil I feel the "illicit" activities title comes off as sort of snoby .
I am afraid to watch her videos when I feel she is gonna say things that will annoy me ever since the "One Piece is a joke" line . I mean the responses one gets if one calls her out on it ? Lots of fans basicly saying youre a weeaboo .
I dunno I think that she had a vid with a jump site ad mention the ID arc and decided to talk about how YYH is not gonna be broadcast continously anymore after several years of broadcasting , which seemed like a sort…..unimportant thing to talk about honestly .
Personally I absolutely love Joe being there. Heard he pissed off the Mafia 2 rep with his questions. Hoping to get some great revealing interviews out of them.
God, that is awesome. I can't wait for Joe's interviews stuff from E3.
In Marz's defense, when she said "One Piece is a joke" she apparently meant that "One Piece is more of a comedy than say, Yu Yu Hakasho." This was explained when someone else on TGWTG discussed One Piece.
It's mere ignorance. Granted, it wasn't the smartest thing of her to say, but she does not 'hate' One Piece. She just never seemed to get into it, like many people.
At the same time, the 'editorial' game with MG is getting weak. Yeah, she fills us in on information on the world, but it's so much more interesting to actually get opinions.
But at the same time, when she gives her opinion, it's generally a mess. Her whole debate on how manga/anime series are constantly taking a 'high school/middle school' route, which neglects her 'age group' or 'interests' was just frustating, what with some fantastic series actually taking place in high/middle schools.
It's complicated. Her show isn't that effective, but I like her as a person. She's great when she's goofy, though. When she has fun, like that 'Nerf Gun' gag she had a few episodes ago, or even when she was in Kickassia, she's very funny. She should just have fun with her show. Maybe do reviews or have fun with her friends.
News on anime and manga in general will fill the gap on its own.
@Joe. I took me a while to warm up to Joe. However, reading what Joe is doing at E3, I wish I knew Joe IRL. He seems REAL badass.
She did a good job reviewing the Last Unicorn . Somehow I would have prefered her as the Chick because honestly the curent one is just not doing it for me . I dunno , she just seems a little to out there for me to realy like her , like her style of reviewing and speaking .
I like her too but yeah .
For instance I agree that there are a little too many high school manga/anime series . For instance the one about the "underwear tester" person . (Chew Bra ?) . I wish she would focus on the more bizare/ weird series out there instead of these general news things .
I like NChick a lot. I love her humor. So I wouldn't replace Lindsay in that role.
But I often read the Twitter's of all the members. And surprisingly, Marz is a riot! If she reviewed anime, it would be great. She could look into some of the worst anime in existence.
I don't know. I just like it when they all have fun with their work. Sure, Marz shows her enjoyment in some cases, but often some things drag on.
Again, loved the Nerf Gun battle.
She should Review Gundoh Musashi :ninja:
Same here, I don't have a problem with Lindsay. Since she prefect in the role of the N. Chick and plus we get Nella in her videos, which also awesome.
I agree Marzgurl needs go back reviewing stuff. I find Anime news thing okay, but I want her to review things again, since I die laughing during her review of that fake anime movie.
And I like her a lot during the Crossover stuff.
I think one of the problems of Marz Gurl doing anime news stuff is . . . . . we already have Anime News Network, so we really don't need video news on it. We have our main source, so she should go back to reviews.
Maybe that's why I like JesuOtaku, she does reviews and Top Ten lists.
I like Y Ruler of Time's reviews. Mainly because he gave Toriko a good review and Naruto a "it's ok but has a lot of flaws" and pointed everything out well. But he reviews manga and does only like one every few months.
I don't watch much besides That Guy With the Glasses. I watched through Spoony's stuff and they tend to have a lot more whining than I thought they would be, making them not that good. Kinda like a "I'm trying to complain about as much I can" feel rather than only attacking really bad stuff, or making concessions sorta thing.
I watched some of Linkara's stuff but I don't really read comics. I do like watching his Power Rangers things, though. And I'm not that interested in MarzGurl for the same sorta reasons as what've been mentioned.
Might watch some other guys if I get really bored…
There's this real fun cartoon (yes , 2 d animated) shows done by some other people then Doug , and it's a parody on video games and their storylines . I especialy loved the guy with the cloud head .
