Well we are look for gigs in Dallas right now to make money hotels are not bad when you willing to stay cheap motel ftw we runnin low on funds right now because rawr was cancled at the last min so we stuck not making Money before we came to Dallas but I have some sweet things to sell and my buddie is going to sell art in open areas I might sell my chopper hat.
For bb I didn't get him done franky isn't done ether but I'll think of something

Mmmm, if things aren't bad I do think I will be coming to A-Kon atleast Saturday.
Unless someone is willing to come over and help pin more boas onto Dofla I won't be in cosplay, but if someone will then I should be able to get em up there. I will atleast bring the awesome camera and take pictures of you guys :D
Getting away and enjoying everyone's company for awhile will really help me out, so I'll go XD

It takes like… 40-50 minutes from my house to get Downtown, a bit over an hour from my grandparents which is probably where I'm coming from. IDK, I am thinking of taking the train to the con instead of spending 10+ on a days worth of parking... I'm going to be slaughtered for all the money I'm spending ^^;;;;;;;

… Inazuma lining is cut out. Used a shirt and cut it up for a pattern x__x; maybe... cut it too small I'm not sure yet >_> damn you fat ass boobs... gonna sew it all together after I cut all the pieces out of the lining and actual coat material which I will cut bigger I think x_x;;;;; maybe I won't even line this... sighs

Bwahahahahha…Akainu hair is CUT now. Yep. It actually somehow looks better and more even than last time..go figure. XD And..I forgot the paint marker I picked up for his shirt.. god damn it..another trip to walmart soon =_=; Gonna put some coats of paint on my sis's Inazuma shoe so I'm not the token worthless sibling today.

It is going to be at and over 100 degrees every day this weekend. Saturday on weather.com has it at 104 (Fox had it at 102).I think nature forgot that this is the beginning of June and not the middle of July.
Even though we're inside I'm starting to think of not doing Dofla =/ That will be a half-second heat stroke in the fucking skywalk.

omg… no matter how hot it is, I'm still wearing Inazuma AND Kizaru... my Luffy cosplay can be used for cooling down D: I worked WAY TOO HARD on this shit and am STILL working on it to let the weather destroy my cosplay goals T___T

I just wouldn't go outside. Hopefully the hotel will turn the air down accordingly. Usually they don't and it's so packed in there that it's really hot, but hopefully they're willing to turn it down even more, this could get seriously dangerous.

Err, well, caulk is caulk. If you can squeeze it out of the tube and it's clear and not white or some other off color, you should be fine.

I don't handle the heat very well at all, especially when the allergies are bad (like they are now) :/ Wearing Dofla is scaring me now.
I'll be there friday and see how cold they're going to keep the hotel. If its cold enough I'll bring Dofla, and thanks Charli :D I could use the help with pinning on the feathers~

I'll be arriving on Friday night around 7:30 or 8:00 to check into the hotel. I will be at your disposal until 10ish for the Hetalia shoot.

Ahhh I was thinking of just bringing it Saturday, and getting there early enough in the morning. But honestly, it can live without the extra feathers for now ^^;;; I don't think adding on extra heat is a good idea, I'll do it for Afest XD I just need to have the 2 to wrap around my arms so there arent any holes and it should be good.

There is plenty of water stations around the main floors of the convention. You'll be made to take a drink everytime you see one (just about) then >:3
The hotel staff will definately be on their toes keeping the water containers filled up XD
Meh I just realized how gripey I've been sounding about the heat and shit (and other things). Oh well, you all know why I'm not happy, so XD Let's just have fun at the con~

I think I swallowed LONG strands of orange fur x__x; also discovered that my orange fur is quite a bit longer than my long white fur… FUCK ME. I hope nobody cares cause there is NO WAY to change it now xD; cut all all the pieces now triumphant fist I can't sleep till this is together Dx Inazumas wig has to happen today too D: I'm worried about it... should I cover the styrofoam balls in caulk and then cover them in hair? hmmmm >__<;

Just groom/style it like you planned for it to be like that….
Or just paint the balls heavily to fill in the holes so they are smooth...two coats normally do.

Yes, I wore a nice big costume character of Darkwing back in 94. I loved that series…and learned to regulate heat, out in 101 degree weather in 90 percent humidity without dying...yeah...wow...not worth what i was paid.
@CoralSnake Take your time... if anything get it passable for the con. I wish I could get up there but I can't get outa here till Friday morning with my car load of Con goers.
Plus I'm burning myself with tons of Hot glue improving my Shanks outfit...

The way I did my sailor moon wig, is I took a little bit of caulk and covered a small section of the styrofoam ball then put a small section of hair over the caulk on the ball. After that I smoothed some more clear caulk over the hair.
