Blackbeard is one of the best characters in One Piece, he is created to be the Perfect Villain and plays the part very well! He is in a way the anti-Luffy and Oda-sensei did an amazing job with him…I could even rank him as one of the top 10 well-made characters of One Piece...
And I hate him....Blackbeard represents all that is evil and vile with this world, so it's natural for fans to hate him. Is he a beautifully illustrated character? of course....do I hate him and wouldn't vote him in a "POPULARITY" contest in a million years? sure.

I'll probably lose faith in the OP community if BB can't pull through. The Pwngoat meme is nice and all, but BB is the only "classical" pirate we've seen so far. While his style may be unorthodox and many people may not agree with his little "my era" rant and WB fight, he's still a great charecter who doesn't deserve to lose to meme.
That's my two cents…doubt it'll make a difference but oh well.

Blackbeard is a coward. Couldn't defeat Whitebeard…so he had to get his pathetic gang of freaks to finish him off. No wonder he instigated this entire war. He knew he'd have gotten badly raped by Whitebeard if he ever went 1 on 1 with him. He wasn't man enuff to face the man who treated him as a son for many decades.
I'm showin my loyality to Whitebeard by voting against him and all things Blackbeard, except Shiryuu...he's awesome...so i got no problem voting for him.
