! FUCKING FINALLY
Where's Kangsung? Surely he wasn't taken out off-screen…but did any fighting happen while being in the loss of consciousness??

! FUCKING FINALLY
Couldn't have said it better. Enough of this nonsense already.
inb4nextchapter: 9 Art's new fan-boy will interfere and try to fight shioon, shioon will beat him senseless, nerfed kangsung will attack 9 arts
I don't know what to say about these last few chapters with Kangsung Vs Goomoonrong… We have a hailed martial artist (9AD), said to be greater than any master in the Murim, and for some reason, Goomoonrong can't compete with Kangsung unless he enters the Black H. Threshold… ? I honestly feel that in the current state of affairs, Kangsung > Goomoonrong, after being told basically otherwise, that 9AD is a being beyond imagination and blah blah blah.
I mean the whole point of entering the Black H. Thresold in Part 1, I thought all this time was because was cornered physically and emotionally. He entered a state where he could have his revenge, and there was no other way to do it in his state (where he was low on ki, had been shot with a bullet, etc), and it worked out because of the themes of rage, revenge and so on.
I didn't think he actually needed it originally to fight against the Chief and others of that level, like Kangsung. Basically I feel that the BH technique is downplaying 9AD's reputation as being greater than all the top Murim Masters.
Kangsung was supposedly on par with Goomoonryung at the end of Part 1. Now they pretty much nerfed both of them; Kangsung gets tossed around, and everyone is surprised that Goomoonryung can smash a building and that he needs to enter berserker mode to beat people. This is the first time I've ever been bored with an OP character.
Don't really like the way it got handled. With all these strong attacks and destruction of surroundings. I was more impressed by Shioon vs. Sochun, for example. I think it would have a better effect if it was shorter. You know, sometimes less is more. Hopefully, it will stop now, with the latest development.
But somehow I doubt it will be enough to stop the fight.
That old mother fucker is the shit
And their interaction ends in basically one chapter… I guess that's good enough for the time being? I mean what else can be said between themselves?
I get the feeling Shioon will want to take some training lessons from Kwon. And the Sunwoo clan being probably the only clan to show up to the current incident should unite the Alliance more so… so more conflicts between 9AD factions and the Murim Alliance should be more apparent in the struggle to obtain Seoul.
So basically more training and more healing of the ki-center through the moon school, and the chief medical elder. And later on Shiho resurrecting and Sosul returning into the story via the Black Defense Group entering the fray of the Seoul conflict. And lastly Shioon solving the Murim problems that caused 9AD to cause a shit storm in the first place will be solved. So what 100-150 chapters left?
Well that was uneventful.
Kangsung was supposedly on par with Goomoonryung at the end of Part 1. Now they pretty much nerfed both of them; Kangsung gets tossed around, and everyone is surprised that Goomoonryung can smash a building and that he needs to enter berserker mode to beat people. This is a bit late on me, but idk, I was thinking their strength is about right, as someone was easily able to hurt them with a gun during part 1.
So Glasses-guy wants to provoke Goomoongryong to start a war with normal people, the beginnings of an all out war between Murim and Murim like organizations and normal people.
And while nothing really happened between Shioon and his master, I guess I understand why it was short-lived and lack luster. But I wish at least there was more of a deeper response, or even a deeper emotional response on Goomoongryong's face at Shioon's persistence.
Despite all the negative aspects of the current series, I am looking forward to what's next because I do believe there is potential for this comic. However I don't like the growth spikes Shioon has undergone in such little time since the death of Jeon. It would have been better instead of having been given skills via some transfer of ki technique, to have trained with the Elder Kwon, or the other Sunwoo elders, and grown quickly in that manner. You know with his speed healing, and his skills to learn quickly as was shown in part 1.
The author may want to save 9AD's redemption towards the end of the series. Me, I'm kinda hoping for some kind of exchange of punches between the master and students, but we're not even granted exchange of words. 9AD just walk away. This pacing is quite painful, and I'd really like for Shioon to start kicking some ass again. Some way to showcase his recent powerup in an actual battle (than just that sparring). Maybe a round 2 against Dokengrang will be really great (and hurry it up).
Breaker is one of the worst mangas to read chapter by chapter. For me anyway. I enjoyed it a lot more when reading several chapters at once.
yeah, that how it should be anyway. Have you ever read author other work, Ruler of the land? its the same, need to be read by volume too.
Shouldn't 9AD be able to take control of the Sunwoo clan since he still has their real Gajuu as his hostage/apprentice?

Never even heard about it. It's hard to keep track of everything these days.
Would you recommend it? I suppose it's finished and all.

no new chapter for weeks now?
no new chapter for weeks now?
Saw at mangainn apparently there was a 2 - 3 week 'break' announced somewhere though, apparently not actually in their chapters.
It's scheduled to come back on the 15th of September.
Anyone know why we never got a chapter this week?

Other people (the higher rated comments) point out that Breaker's art is incredibly amazing (especially when compared to other webtoons), cheer on the authors, tell them that it's okay if the story is a bit slow, and that they understand that the lack of manpower and detailed art may hold things up.

- Lack of people to help out in the studio
- General length is 16 ~ 18 pages, but this chapter's was supposed to be like 26?
- It's mainly action stuff and not stuff that advances the story (author admits that it's the kind of stuff that you can read in like 5 seconds)
- Authors acknowledge reader complaints that they've read
- Reader complaints include "stop putting in so much meaningless fights and just get on with the story" and "if you can't give us content then at least give us quantity. Why are chapters so short even though they're in black and white?'
- As to the question of why they keep making their webtoon unlike other webtoons…
- The authors would like to ask why the readers are even reading it.

To be fair, Breaker has been a bit Bleach. I don't mind the fighting, as long as it's technical but we've not even been getting that. We all know that the kid will have to fight his master, so let's just get to that already.
at least we get 3 chapters this week. I was kinda disappointed that the Shioon's duel got interrupted.

What 3 chapters?
@LUFFYSMC:
What 3 chapters?
It's definitely only the single chapter. Though where it ended and how little progression there was, you have to wonder how many chapters the author wanted to stretch that over.
@LUFFYSMC:

He probably reads mangareader.net since they released the latest 3 chapters at once.
Goddamit Elder Kwon! Shioon's berserk mode is imminent. But this happens every time. The MC should stop being a pacifist and start kicking ass.

Goddammning him for slightly different reason: seems like sacrificing yourself has really become this clan's go to move, it's getting kinda annoying. +++ what happens if sacrificing yourself backfires and you reduce Shioon to an absolutely fight -less state, now you're dead with no backup plan at a time you really didn't need to.
Loved the Ghost Doctors surprising yet fun reaction to some1 actually managing to hurt Elder Kwon.
I strongly dislike the way they've played 9AD as some kinda follower just because of Nona from the first series' death; how in the world does that compute into let's kill Seoul at a whim? All the while because blondie keeps his mouth shut about Shioon possiblly being able to bring her back. Hope they don't wait too long for her rebirth; I'll be quite pissed if it takes till the middle or end of the third series for her to come back.
Shioon gonna end up doing Black whatever it's called and dominating both Gramps and Goomooryon

Same stoic and recycled pretty boy characters with no personality , same generic and flashy action , same non-existent plot and same dragged out pacing and having no real direction for where it is going . Not to mention that the first part ended with the main character losing his "powers" ( lazy writer who made the main character too strong for no purpose and has to resort to bs plot twist when he has no idea what to do with it ) . If i didn't know better i would have thought this series was written by Kubo just from looking at all the things that it tries to do but fails miserly at it .
Why would Shioon enter the Black Heaven & Earth Threshold? He doesn't view anyone at this point an enemy. It's not like the Lone Wolf guy, where the guy trying to kill him, killed Elder Jeon instead. And Shioon's master is basically defending himself at this point, because Kwon is instigating a last clash blow that will end either of them… Idk - I'd be really surprised if Shioon entered the BH&E Threshold state. He's too conflicted in what he wants to have any emotion pointing towards rage.
Kwon is prideful. Wants the Sunwoo clan to be always the best. Shioon's actions are going to put the Sunwoo clan in the toilet. Kwon decides to sacrifice himself so Shioon has no choice but go against his master, even though he's been highly reluctant to do it. Poor Shioon...

I dunno, by entering Black Heaven & Earth, he'd be able to subdue Gramps and 9 Arts. That's Shioon, take something negative and turn it positive.
im so busy i dont have time to read this manga.
maybe by next week i can start to read
I really like Goomoonryong at The Breaker part 1 and even now. His character design, I find really cool. It makes me sport long hair even if it's out of style nowadays. I kinda want to imitate him. Until fucking now! I can't forgive him to what he just did to Elder Kwon. Thinking about it, he's really quite an asshole. And Shioon, man, you better turn badass and stay that way after this event. Elder Kwon's dream must at least be realized. I'm really worried about how Sunwoo will fare if it loses Elder Kwon. That's like the SH losing the monster trio in my opinion.
The thing is, in the Murim, everyone is an asshole. Once you understand that, you won't really be able to actually pick sides, like in this instance between Kwon and the 9AD.
For instance, for the Sunwoo clan to be where it is right now, they had to murder lots of other people for their "dream". That's the world of Murim. To compete for their great status, they had to go to war with other clans/groups. This caused lots of bad blood, so the Murim Alliance was created for peace, but this also created a deeper problem, in which the most powerful clans retained their power through the Alliance. That's the whole reason why the Alliance members were so easily able to dispense their "holy judgement" to either have the 9AD either destroy his ki-center or be killed, and for his master Unwol to hand over the Black Heaven and Earth Threshold technique - all in order to keep the peace and relieve their shame from being defeated in the tournament (this all happened in part 1).
So the 9AD wants to destroy the Murim and the Alliance, and doesn't hold much sympathy or compassion for anyone for obvious reasons. Yes, he's very violent, but he's had almost everything taken away from him, and the Murim world always wanted his head, even after Unwol died. So in the end, who can be upset that he killed Kwon? Kwon was going for a last clash hit/kill. He had his own selfish motives. I for one am not falling for the authors intention of making his audience want to hate the 9AD. I can't. Not saying that the 9AD shouldn't be stopped by blindly following orders from Kaiser (who obviously has his own evil agenda).
That's all, there isn't much else to say. The story is at a critical point where the story can proceed to go downhill pretty damn fast.

Haoshoku haki murim style? I wished for berserk mode and maybe just cause 9AD to bleed a little, but this is awesome[emoji4].
192 chapters later, we finally reach Shiwoon vs 9AD. Fuck, that took forever.
This is supposedly the 2nd installment out of 3 in the series, correct?

Little annoyed by this sudden mention of this "Demon King", and the fact that had to be the name in the 1st place, with MA's names for any and everything else let's just get lazy.
And Quite cocky that they're already think they can control him. Sad how much they can own NAD though.
Question: that doctor that looked like an undead alien and nearly sucks Shiwoon dry of blood, never officially died right?
I keep forgetting if to expect him in the 3rd in some way.

My mistake. I apologize for being wrong.
Phoenix cry sounded familiar though I didn't remember why, DK just didn't ring a bell.
But thanks for the pic, also got to see why phoenix cry was familiar.
P. S. : Remember anything about that doctor being alive?

The point of "New Waves" was to illustrate the next generation (i.e. New Waves) of Murim. However, the next generation is entirely useless/pointless given Shiwoon is OP as fuck. Even the old generation ended up mostly being weak compared to anyone who learned 9AD ;They just ended up all being fodder on his road to find his teacher.

Part 2 ends at chapter 200. It'll go on hiatus after until part 3 starts.
From the creators of The Breaker’s Naver page.
Title: Breaker chapter 199 cover.
Post:
Haha… this is the first post since 2015 began… somehow we’ve just been that busy…
Many of you could already tell, but,…. Breaker 2 is coming to an end.
Breaker part 2 will end with chapter 200. Also, there will be a final epilogue of 1 part.
Just part 1 [of Breaker] took 3 years… and part 2 took 5 years… I feel both relieved and disappointed.
Together with Archlord, we’ve been working non-stop without a break for 10 years.
Then… there are many readers who are wondering when Breaker, part 3, will enter serialization, but… we are expecting to not begin serialization for a little while. We will rest for a couple of months and then expect to start on a new work together with serializations that have piled up. The plan is to produce a work that, perhaps, forgoes the traditional page-view style and introduces the webtoon style with colour.
Our apologies to those waiting for part 3, but… 8 years… was quite a long time… we really want to produce something new and maybe we’ll produce a new novella with the author Jeon Keuk-jin.
Also, after taking care of this week’s chapter 199’s deadline, and depending on the number of pages, we will rest next week for one week and chapter 200 is expected to go up on May 1st.
