That's the internet I know: Bitch about something after only seeing a teaser.
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Buuhan already clearly stated that from the looks of the trailer so far, the game looks like shit.
Whether or not you agree with him is a different issue, but the above was a pretty dumb comment. That's like saying: "its stupid to be hyped for a game after only seeing a teaser trailer."
-
What part is pretty dumb? I'm not deriding him for saying it looks like shit from the first trailer, I'm deriding him because he said it looks like shit because it looks like Arkham. I guess I should go back and read every post though, just in case, before I make much more of a fool out of myself…
-
Flame on!
Wow, I'm gonna go play some Maximum carnage. The last "decent" (uses loosely) Spidey game was Ultimate Spiderman.
-
Ultimate Spider-Man rocked! I completely forgot about that one, shame on me. Maximum Carnage is fantastic but goddamn is it hard! It's impossible to beat. I remember getting to a level where I fight a bunch of guys on a rooftop but for all I know that was only Stage 2.
-
What happened to your awesome avatar of the guy who I dunno?

I was talking to Cyan D. Funk pretty much

@Mr.:
This looks interesting, but then again, so did Spider-Man: Friend or Foe.
The fact that the game was aiming towards a younger demographic should've made it obvious.
.
Marvel Zombies Spidey - Marvel Zombies is REALLY popular, the chance to do alternate versions of Spidey would be a good way to cash in on that popularity. I'd say it's almost a given
I'd doubt it considering that if they did they would have to tone down the material to work it into a T rated game which I don't think the gore whore's who like Marvel Zombies in that regard would appreciate.
-
Glad my favorite spidey show va is back. Mad that he sounds so old though. And yeah this is really ripping off Batman's new game
-
What happened to your awesome avatar of the guy who I dunno?
Hahaha, Jack Bauer? Yeah, that picture was fantastic. They had him wear these glasses for an undercover operation and it was too funny not to use as an avatar. I changed it to an avatar of my head exploding from a comic I did for my website, maybe I'll go back to the other one some day.
I was talking to Cyan D. Funk pretty much
Ahhhhhh! Alright, gotchya! Hahaha, now I do feel like a fool.
-
One thing that disappoints me with Spider-Man games is, it wouldn't take much to make a fantastic game. How I mean is all the pieces are there, they just need a developer who's good at puzzles.
-

Eh Spider-Man/X-Men Arcade's Revenge Wasn't Any Better.
-

Either I'm misinterpreting you (again), or you mean to imply that games that are aimed towards kids tend to suck, in which you might as well be saying Super Mario Galaxy was expected to suck. =/
That's the vibe I'm getting from ya.
-
Yeah, the whole "It's worse because it's geared towards a younger audience." notion is idiotic. The rating doesn't mean a damn thing towards the quality of the game. There's tons of awesome E rated games out there, as well as M rated. Never say a game sucks because it's aimed at kids, say a game sucks because it sucks.

GameTrailers TV had a bunch of new info in their new episode on Spike last night, this is just from my memory so there may actually be more info on the net.
All four Spider-Man's will be voiced by established voice actors who have portrayed the character in the past. Amazing Spider-Man's voice actor is being kept under wraps, however Spider-Man Noir is being voiced by the '90s cartoon series actor, Christopher Daniel Barnes.
3rd Dimension Spider-Man will be revealed at E3, 4th Dimension Spider-Man will be revealed at Comic-Con.
Each Spider-Man will have a special combat tactic so all 4 play different. Amazing will focus on web-based attacks, while Noir will focus on stealth.
Norman Osborne is a boss in Noir's world, he's physically mutated into a hulking Goblin-esque monster. He looks more like the Lizard than the Green Goblin.
I THINK the guy said there will be 13 boss fights, but I can't be for certain.
A large amount of the boss fights (but not all of them) will feature you going into first-person view and beating the crap out of the boss. They aren't exactly happy that God of War III beat them to the punch on this feature.
The Level in Noir's dimension that you end up encountering Osborne in is a carnival with constant fireworks going off, the fireworks going off temporarily eliminates shadows, causing Noir to have to stay on his toes to not be seen.
Instead of simply playing in different dimensions and experiencing a different story, the story revolves around the dimensions actually being shattered and starting to merge. The guy said it's Spider-Man's fault, but didn't actually say which one.
You will be able to choose how you want to play the different dimensions. You can focus on playing for several levels in one dimension, or you can go back and forth between them.
Established Marvel voice actors will be voicing the villains.
That's all I can remember for now. From the gameplay footage they've shown it definitely looks far better than the trailer, but it still looks rough.
-
Well the third spidey is 2099.

Well that sounds pretty good I guess.
So there's hope that this game don't sucks.

Spider-Man Noir is being voiced by the '90s cartoon series actor, Christopher Daniel Barnes.
Oh FUCK YES. This might be the clincher for me. I kinda wish he was Amazing though.
Norman Osborne is a boss in Noir's world, he's physically mutated into a hulking Goblin-esque monster. He looks more like the Lizard than the Green Goblin.
Technically speaking, he's a circus freak with fucked up skin. He's not really a monster at all.
Well the third spidey is 2099.

Okay, there we go. Now THERE'S the clincher. I am buying this shit.

CALLED.IT.
http://apforums.net/showpost.php?p=1548322&postcount=17For the people who think 2099 is gonna be one of them, I HIGHLY doubt it. Marvel's pretty much forgotten about it.
Guess they didn't forget about it after all.
-
This is so far one of the best ideas for a Spidey game. Love to see Christopher Daniel Barnes to voice the web head again.
It seems like that Yuri Lowenthal will be voicing the amazing Spider-man.

Ultimate is the last dimension
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/sdcc-10-spider-man-shattered/701854
Carnage, Juggernaut, and Deadpool are also shown to be enemies in the game
-
so…
Neil Patrick Harris (Amazing)
Josh Keaton (Ultimate)
Christopher Barnes (Noir)
Dan Gilvezan (2099)and apparently Stan Lee is narrating in the game...
-
Interesting set of cast.
Neil- Was okay voice for spidey. But he never really did leave much of impression. Then again I could blame it on the MTV Spiderman show. The show was probably the worst Spdiey show to me. Even Spider-Man Unlimited was a better show. But I'm willing to give Neil a chance, since he's a good actor.
Josh- My favorite Spidey voice. I just really like how it fit Peter and Spidey very well. So I can't wait to hear him again.
Chris- The one who started it. My second favorite voice actor for Spidey. Really can't wait to hear him as Noir
Dan- The one I want to hear the most. I just want to see what he'll do for the voice. I wonder if it will still that 80s sound to it.

Ultimate is the last dimension
Told you it wasn't going to be "Zombies".
Though it is a bit weird how he's "back in black" since Peter only wore the black suit for a very short span of time.
