Same. Steel's always been my favorite type. I am a total whore for Steel, I'll admit.

I'm also hoping for some kind of Pokemon Stadium/Battle Revolution kinda deal, to have online battles via console. First of all, because my DS' WiFi is wonky and doesn't like to connect, and also because I had fun with all the extra trainer crap in BR. Particularly strategizing various teams and having said teams saved for future use, instead of swapping out Pokemon each time.

I really hope they let you customize how your trainer looks, it's much more awesome if you actually look like them instead of having some random character. I mean they already let you dress up your pokemon and stuff, why not the trainer sprites?

Personally as far as fake starters went, I always loved these three.

They were even going to be like, psychic, dark and steel, to break up the usual fire/grass/water theme. Woulda been great. I love the kangaroo.

There wasn't much to it outside of battling online and doing the 1P colisseums. I got it for the online, though, so I was satisfied with it.

Also, I, too, want customizable Trainers. I had shitloads of fun in BR with that. I made a whole damn cast of trainers, most of them with themed teams. I loved making trainers, making a themed team, and taking on people online with them. My Rain Dance team fucking dominated…!

I have Battle Revolution, but for some reason I don't play it. I even forgot what the premise of it was.

It was Fighting < Psychic < Dark < Fighting.

But, whatever.
I would approve that, but Fire-types are my favorite and they're rare as hell.

I agree on more attacks, but more Pokémon? Again, no. Underpowered? I don't think so, an experienced trainer can make the best of nearly every Pokémon.

Part of me wants them to slightly reorganize the Pokedex so that they can unite all of the scattered evolutionary trees, but a lot of fans are used to the specific numbers and changing that would throw them off.

Pinsir, Forretress, Scizor, Heracross, Yanmega, and Armaldo… maybe Forretress.

Bug-types are equivalent to real life bugs. They're weak as hell, but get bitten by one and you just might get fucked up.

I'd have to agree with that. Togekiss would had been "perfect" as a Light-type.

But, of course, people will mention Normal-types, if so? I'd say, it can be a "Special" version of the "Physical" Normal-type.

You'd say Light beats Dark, but I see them resisting each other.

I don't see it happening honestly, but it'll be awesome to see it... also with a "Light Gym Leader" and finally, a "Dark Gym Leader".

I'm not too huge of a pokenerd to know them all by numbers, but I'll admit I know a few (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,25,26,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159,160)

I never really liked the idea of Normal type pokemon. I dunno, they just seemed so…normal.

Personally I'd be happy if they made some more unusual pokemon more available and useable DURING THE MAIN GAME. I'm SICK of the likes of Abra, Machop Geodude, Zubat, Onix etc lines being constantly used because they're all over the place.

Oh and make 3rd Gen pokemon useable too. I can't recall the last time I saw any of them be used other than the starters.

That's true, and I did forget about those (I haven't played a pokemon game through for a long time), but in that case I want to see the regional dex overtake the regular pokedex, because it feels much more logical and yet still underused/valued.

Well, at least we know we are getting some new Dark type Pokemon, since Zorua and Zoroark are Dark types. I wonder if they'll know the move Transform, since they've been seen transforming into other Pokemon during the Movie 13 trailer. It could also be just an ability that is mentioned in the Pokedex but has no real effect on the gameplay.

I'm also hoping to see more new Pokemon than evolutions to old ones, but there are some (pre-/)evolutions I'd like to see. Pre-evos for Kangaskhan, Lapras and Tropius would be nice, and evolutions for (for example) Corsola, Chimecho, Mawile and Pachirisu would make them much more usable. I'd like to see an Electric/Fighting -type Pokemon and more Fire types would always be cool.

You thought he was a legendary Pokémon, because he appeared in a movie waaay before his Generation's movies starts, but unlike Lucario, we already know Zoroark has a baby evolution.

To each his own, I guess. But there are some pokemon that don't look like pokemon though. It's not like they're real, just depictions of what people might like to see.

Most of those FakeMons looked too weak, the author tried to make them look "cute-ish" and didn't work for me.

Some of them look like fusions of the real Pokémon.
