i don`t know what to say about that arc…seemed a bit boring at first..shinpaku-allianz was cool...now those armed-fights.

Pretty good chapter. Shinpaku alliance had a great chance to shine where we saw exactly how useful the training was including Freya, Kenichi didn't hog all the spot-light, that's how you handle your side-characters Kishimoto!!! Ukita really needs to get stronger though. I hope he has an internal reflection on how he lsot and ends to get stronger or it'd be lame. Hopefully Daiki trains him, being the best master at teaching, it could boost up his power very quickly and it would be sensible.
With that said, the chapter could have been more… HOWEVER I actually think Matsuena is intentionally holding off for the real fights of this arc. I think Kenichi is going to fail stopping that truck, probably stopped by Koukin where he loses again/fights to a draw/inconclusive battle. The battle between Shigure and the Muay Borran master will also be inconclusive/draw loss for Shigure. Afterwards, Shinpaku alliance does an all-out-raid at some complex where Freya and her grandpa are being kept and they even get their own opponents and full fights and whatnot.Also Apachai comes too and both him and Kenichi will fight the Muay Boran Master and Koukin respectively. Best way to handle this arc making it super awesome and a great way to reintroduce Shinpaku alliance to the story. OR Kenichi could succeed and the arc will be over in a couple of chapters which would make a real disappointing arc. However I have faith in Matsuena that he won't do that.
Also surprised the Muay Boran guy wasn't Kushinada level. I figured he would be after Apachai's talk of sacrificing his life. However if my theory is true, it wouldn't be realistic for Apachai to beat him at that point. Master Classes of Kushinada's level are end of series worthy.

Yeah, I agree with all you said. I don't think this is just a coincidence. I believe it's all foreshadowing this arc for much bigger events next arc.

I think it was the cleaning of that scan than anything that made him seem less threatening. I saw a different raw and thought to myself, wow he really does look badass.Thing with this manga is the hyped up characters really do look as awesome as their reputation hypes them up to be. Except for Daiki but he's the odd exception.

I bet next chap, Koukin will be in front of Kenichi. He's not the yomi that I prefer the most but he did an "Akainu-like"
to a main character so I hope he won't be beaten too easily. -
Koukin is there but it's another guy (a blade master?) who's standing in front of them. Looks like it's "show off time" for kenichi since the start of this arc. and it's Shigure "fan service time" too. ^^

Eh no, that'd be horrible. He can't hold a candle to a master class. That's like saying Luffy could beat an Admiral. What probably will happen is that Danki will fight the master-class to showcase his stuff.
Anyway very good chapter, felt much more satisfying than last week's. Nijima is always incredible and I especially loved Siegfried (MY DEMON KING!!!) and Shigure's badassedness. Also Kokin continues to impress. He immediately went for the most logical plan and rather than fighting anyone went to pick up a master class. Really awesome. My favorite part was Kenichi taking that hit from the master class, really felt tense there. Oh and the Master Class looks fucking awesome as per usual of Matsuena's awesome designs.
My major problem though. It looks like this arc MIGHT be resolved in the next chapter or two. Now with this chapter I can say it has and is being handled right so I won't go far as saying that Matsuena let anyone down but still kinda afar cry from an epic Shinpaku Alliance invasion:( Meh I'll reserve judgment till the arc ends.

I don't find him that awesome. He's the kind of fighter who looks strong but will be defeated easily by Shigure or the old man. We will see next chap.

I said LOOKS awesome. For some strange reason I felt underwhelmed by Kokin's master's design even though he looks pretty cool too. This new guy looked pants-shittingly beastly.
